Also, add to the list of country with a good percentage of racist Japan, most of Africa, middle Eastern asia, etc … Nothing new under the sun that people fear what is different, and fear it even more so when they don’t feel secure.

It’s (as alway) projection. Like violent people think everyone is violent, and not just themselve. Like cheaters think everyone cheat. While I do think it’s an artifact of history and not something inherent to white people, the guys whose non-shameful ancestors have installed themselves all over the world, shitting on each and every culture they encountered *do* think that any time someone install himself elsewhere it’s to take its possession. Of course, that’s completely irrational given that even if thoses refugees were to want to do that, they don’t have anywhere near the power to do – and attempts to cross the line look so bad an idea that only stupids or insane people would do it.
