“Women don’t need good chord progressions,” and other ways the ladies are destroying culture by being ladies

Chord choices have consequences!
Chord choices have consequences!

This just in! According to some random dude on the Red Pill subreddit, our culture is going to hell in a little pink handbasket and it’s all the fault of you women.

Consider:

Television is all crappy reality shows and Kardashian type gossip magazine rubbish.

Every single movie has a romantic subplot forced into it, even movies “Made for men”.

ESPN spends more time on human interest pieces, Breast Cancer Awareness, and if Lamar Odom is staying with Khloe than actual sports.

Music gets more shallow, filthy(seriously, eat the booty like groceries?), and repetitive every day.

The problem? The entertainment biz is

simply giving women exactly what they want. This is the invasion of women into male spaces these liberal minded progressives clamored for.

Don’t try to deny it, ladies! You know it’s true. Because women want our entertainment to be crap. Also, entertainment consists entirely of TV, movies, sports, and music. Books do not count! They are only for women and manginas! And don’t even think about, you know, paintings and all that shit.

Women don’t care about the actual athletics behind sports. They could care less about the hardwork and dedication that goes into progress, they like the excitement and the player’s lives.

Women don’t need a “good movie”, they need a movie that makes them feel good. They need some romantic subplot that makes them feel special and hopeful and not alone.

And it gets worse:

Women don’t need good chord progression, lyrics that exalt a virtue or dig deep into the cultural zeitgiest, they just want a fun beat that makes them feel good.

Screw you ladies, and your terrible chord progressions! I mean, I’ve seen it a million times. Some dude comes up and he’s all

E – B – C#m – A

And the lady is all, nuh-uh!

C – B – F

And you’re like, what the hell is this bullshit!

Now, I know what you’re gonna say: I’M A WOMAN(OR I KNOW A WOMAN) WHO LIKES GOOD MOVIES AND SPORTS AND MUSIC AND YOU’RE FUCKING WRONG!

Guess what? I know an Asian that’s tall and has a big dick, are we gonna just assume that’s the average? Grow up.

YEAH! You tell ’em wait what?

I don’t remember learning about that argument in debate club.

This is the inevitability of women in male spaces, and more importantly the economy catering to women: Women waste more disposable income on entertainment and luxury than men. Women work to buy things that make them feel good.

Of course these industries are going to cater to women because there’s just so much fucking money in it.

But what can we men do?

we’re not going to stop listening to music or watching movies. We’re not going to turn sports off. These industries know this and thus can pocket from both sides.

BUT NO MORE! WE’RE MAD AS HELL AND WE’RE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANY MORE.

The truth is things will never change until men are more united, until we are unified in one voice that says “We’re not paying for this shit anymore.”

YOU TELL ‘EM! No more movies with romantic subplots! We only want to see people blowing shit up! NO KISSING.

And no more music with fun beats! WE DEMAND HIGH QUALITY CHORD PROGRESSIONS ONLY! And would it kill you to throw in a Dsus4 chord every once in a while? NO. No it wouldn’t.

Unfortunately, the betas would rather shoot up schools because they’re not getting pussy.

Yeah, fuck those fucking betas, with their inability to score pussy and their tolerance of weak-ass chord progressions.

And that shooting up schools thing, that sucks too.

Sometimes people do talk about feelings too much (not just women either). I always try to turn the convo toward meditation, offer to teach them some techniques, etc.

“..At 70 cents to a man’s dollar”

Actually white women make 70 cents to a white man’s dollar then down the list who gets paid less are men of color, women of color and then disabled people.

Man, it would be nice to have a vagina that would allow me to filter the pompous whining of dudebros who can’t understand that people are individuals and that said dudebros are not automatically better than a huge portion of the population because their penis grants them special abilities.

Of course, filtering something tends to mean that there is actually something of value that can be separated from the rest of the disgusting filth, and I’m pretty sure that doesn’t actually apply to any of Wildman’s comments.

Also, if anything, women would be better at seeing things from multiple perspectives, since we are socialized at a young age to be more considerate of other people’s feelings.

Not just “would be”, we ARE…for that and many other reasons. Which means WildTroll’s comment, just like the OP, is full of shit.

It’s like these guys have never bothered to get to know a woman, because that would actually destroy their cutesy little theories about us. “A woman means just what I want her to mean — neither more nor less! (Well, okay, less, too! Because I like reducing them to objects. It’s easier than actually bothering to KNOW one!)”

Of course. Most people become MRAs because they know nothing about women, since they are too scared to even talk to them. MRM also advocates that you can’t be friends with women because they’ll just use you and humiliate you, and the only way to interact with them is treat them as shallow people only good for sex. Meaning they will never even try to get to know women.

I think a large chunk of them are divorced, right? AVfM and many of the “Christoanglosphere” (what?) auxilary branch are comprised of divorced (AVfm) and presently married but appearantly unhappy men.

“and presently married but appearantly unhappy men” the married ones are in the Christoanglosphere.

Which reminds me – I wonder what that Judgy Bitch character’s husband thinks of her “work” with all those angry, horny, lonely dudes.

What does it matter what her husband thinks?

I’m curious?

I’m curious about a lot of things right-wingers do in their personal lives. Their message seems to be, “We are the smart & good & sensible people. Follow us.” But I’m left scratching my head about the things they do. Some of my questions follow:

1. Why did Sarah Palin run for vice president when her special-needs baby was four months old?

2. What the heck was John McCain smoking when he (presumably) said, “Yeah, 30 seconds is all we need to vet that beautiful babe from Alaska”?

3. What is Roosh V’s source of income?

4. Does it make Roosh’s head spin when he bounces from pick-up artist and Muslim hater to “men must step in to protect women’s virtue because they sure don’t know how to do it!” and “Muslim lite” proponent (in the tradition of his father and his father’s father and so on) and psychic channel for his dead buddy, Adolf Hitler?

5. How did noted woman hater Paul Elam talk a woman into supporting him?

6. Does it bother Judgy Janet Bloomfield’s husband that she says that she rapes him all the time? (She is using a fake name, but still…)

So many personal questions about people I don’t know!

So little time…

Hello.

Did you have a nice week-end ?

First, i would like to apologize, i made a mistake.
It was not a former President who said that if you do not have a Rolex at 50, you are a fail, but a French famous publicist / com advisor, in an answer to a comment about the fact that how this former President loved to exhibit his Rolex (and other external signs of wealth).
A bit more on that at this link.

Bina | October 23, 2015 at 10:39 am

I’ll be 50 in a couple of years. My grandfather had a Rolex, which my dad inherited when he died. He never wears it. It doesn’t work. I might inherit it when he dies, and I don’t want it. I’m guessing it could be sold for melting down, though.

I’m sorry, what’s that about failure, again?

Well, the quote was from a successfully social person to support another successfully social person. It is a small world. It is also a way of reassurring themselve by trying to shame the others. “I have this stuff, thus i am a winner. You do not have this stuff, thus you are a loser”. It is not mysoginist but it is, how do you call that ? Classist ?
So the “failure” is just a matter of point of view, in this case, i think. You may appear as a failure to those who believe the quote.

@Kat
About the point 3, is his source of income not the books he sells and the “conferences” he presents ? Plus the donations ?

Have a nice day.

I think part of why people wonder where his money comes from is that we find it difficult to believe he makes enough to survive off of his shitty books and “conferences.” I know I, for one, can’t handle a world where he can make any kind of decent amount of money that way.

I thought that Valizadeh has pretty much admitted that the reason he lives in poverty in Poland is because he doesn’t exactly have a lot of cash coming in.

That’s pretty much what I figured, thanks. Personally, though, my idea of a loser is someone who plunks down all that money for a Rolex when he could have spent a fraction of that on a watch that actually works. (Timex! Takes a lickin’ and keeps on tickin’!)

Obviously, I fail at classism, too. But that’s okay, I don’t mind failing at something so popular with wankers.

(not implying that YOU are one, but whoever said that about Rolexes most definitely is)

Well, he DID admit to couch-surfing in Ukraine. And if he had to do that at the height of his, er, success (cough cough) as a PUA book-shitter, in an impoverished country where it ought to be cheap as beans for a “successful” Amurrican to live (and pick up chicks), well…I guess “decent amount of money” is a matter of perspective.

Yeah, maybe it’s not possible to ask this question about Sarah Palin without seeming to throw other parents (who don’t have her privileges but might have even more challenges) under the bus. Or without seeming to trash parents who are ambitious but still make sure that their child’s special needs are met.
