The regulars in the Red Pill subreddit are working themselves into a little bit of a lather over a story about an angry wife who tossed her beta-bucks-providing husband out of the house after he was photographed dancing on a table with a belly dancer at a bachelor party. Adding insult to injury, this was very the same woman who, only a week earlier, had been out on the town with “a handsome French bowling instructor.”
That woman’s name? Marge Simpson, her beta-abusing, alpha-chasing ways dissected in a blog post titled “The Simpsons: Hypergamy, and Male Disposability in “Life on the Fast Lane” and “Homer’s Night Out” (1990).”
Yep. They’re getting worked up about two quarter-century old Simpsons episodes:
As the regulars see it, the Simpsons episodes offer clear proof of Red Pill wisdom.
But some of the regulars are as frustrated with Homer as they are angry at Marge. After all, Homer brought all this upon himself by not being the alpha asshole of every woman’s secret fantasies.
“Homer is beta as fuck, and Marge aimed early for BB [Beta Bucks]” writes one. “As she reaches 34 she sees her youth has gone and has a fleeting last chance for alpha.”
Another adds, I suspect only partially tongue-in-cheek:
But whatever anger the Red Pillers feel towards Marge — or frustration they feel towards Homer — is nothing compared to their fury at another Simpsons female: 8-year-old budding feminist Lisa Simpson
The one commenter who suggests that maybe putative alpha males shouldn’t really be getting this mad at a couple of Simpsons episodes from 1990 is rewarded with downvotes for his heresy.
As another fictional beta bucks provider said of the hypergamous slut who was ruining his life, “you are tearing me apart, Lisa!”

Not surprisingly Lisa is my favourite character and always has been.
Hmm, I’m getting a major case of deja vu here.
Is it yet another one of those “rationalizations that are totally ridiculous and imaginary and invented by overly sensitive feminazis but totally accurate when I use it to defend things I believe”? Why yes, it would appear so.
I don’t need feminem because bitches ruined my cartoons.
The comments are hilarious: just guys complaining about all the pop culture that’s been ruined for them since Taking the Red Pill. Among the dangerously feminist movies and TV shows you’ll certainly want to avoid:
— “House of Cards,” because alpha male Kevin Spacey’s wife stands up to him sometimes.
— “Forrest Gump,” because Jenny is a slut who doesn’t appreciate Forrest, a proven alpha male. Actual quote: “So what if he’s technically retarded?”
— “Disney movies like Hercules, emperors new groove, and chicken run.” No explanation given. “Chicken Run” has a mostly female cast and the alpha male rooster turns out to be a phony, so I can understand how it freaked this guy out so much he failed to notice it’s not a Disney movie.
— Any news program with an insufficiently hot female anchor. Getting updates on ISIS from an HB6 is so beta, brah!
— “Vikings,” because not even goddamn Vikings are alpha enough.
Based on these comments, I’m pretty sure that after taking the Red Pill you can’t even watch “The Matrix.”
On the plus side: “Rick and Morty is redpill as fuck.”
@sn0rkmaiden
“This has got to be fake. I just can’t believe they are this stupid.”
You say that, but they keep proving us wrong.
Isn’t Rick & Morty just a deliberately-stupid ripoff of Back To The Future?
… Then again, their red pill is just a deliberately-stupid ripoff of Nazism, so…
I’m guessing their problem with Vikings is Legartha. Never mind that female warriors were a thing in Viking culture. Never mind that women women in pre-Christian Norse cultures were actually able to divorce.
For neo-Nazis who think Scandinavians are so inherently superior, they don’t seem to actually like any modern or historical Scandinavian cultures. They just like that they’re stereotypically blond, blue eyed, tall, and fair.
It started many years ago as a deliberately-stupid BTTF parody (the characters were named Doc and Mharti instead of Rick and Morty), but it’s actually a very thoughtful, complex show. I’m not sure why redpillers would be into it – the finer points of redpill philosophy is lost on me, I guess (those blue pills are just too tasty, you know?).
…What is with all those white supremacy tags on that fellowship of the patriarchy post? Are they suggesting that feminism is white supremacist? Would think that would be somewhere in their screed, the closest thing there is to that is an accusation of feminism being US/Eurocentric, and that is just a thinly veiled “how can you whine about being marginalized when women in brown countries have it 1000 times worse than you, you ungrateful [insert misogynistic slur of choice here]?”
Or are they seriously trying to come off as the good guys while proudly flying their neo nazi flag?
Okay, hold on, Rick is the only man on the show that has any shred of intelligence. Summer and Beth are very intelligent while Jerry and Morty are fatuous and obtuse. (IDK, I’m trying to avoid the words “stupid” and “idiot”, forgive me.)
Every episode pretty much shows how Rick shouldn’t just lord his intelligence over people. He is wrong sometimes because he lacks compassion, which Morty provides. Although lately, Rick has been turning more compassionate (due to Morty’s influence) while Morty has been getting angrier and angrier. The show recognizes Rick is a bad influence on Morty.
I mean, what fucking show has this douche been watching?
@Catalpa
After looking at their site out of morbid curiosity – they’re flying their flag.
@Everyone else
Ah, okay; my bad. The show hasn’t been released here so I’m just going by random YouTube clips. ^^;
But remember everyone, it’s the fucking feminazi SocJus aGGros who are always looking for things to complain about. I’m Jordan Owen and as you can see, I’m still a massive piece of shit.
Red Pillers are not to be taken seriously. I’m sure the whole Lisa/Marge thread was a parody. At least, that’s how it read.
P.S. MRAs must have figured out a long time ago that the writers for the Simpsons are pretty liberal.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politics_in_The_Simpsons
Perhaps MRAs need to watch a different cartoon.
Someone should tell the Fellowship of the Patriarch that their motto is gibberish. Patriarch is a first-declension feminine noun in Latin, as in “patriarcha.” That’s right, the feminists were even keeping men down in late antiquity!
Also, “opprimere” and its participles don’t have the (relatively) milder sense of the English derivative “oppressed,” meaning “unfairly subjected to excessive or cruel authority.” “Opprimere” strongly connotes having been crushed or defeated in one’s entirety. Something “oppressus” is unlikely to rise or recover for a very long time, if ever.
Some people do heraldry, I do ancient languages. Seriously, guys, it’s not just picking Latin-sounding words and adding “-us” and “-i” to the ends.
But seriously, I bet all the redpillin’ mras would scoff mightily at any discussion of how Marge stays with Homer even though he’s kind of a shit husband who regularly papers over the cracks in their relationship with a one-off grand gesture, especially in the later seasons. I especially hate that episode where Homer has to let mobsters shoot a porno movie in the house because he owes them money, Marge finds out, and takes off in a fury to go help manatees at the beach. Of course by the end of the episode she’s nursing poooooor Homer because he nearly drowned and he’s the most endangered species of all, a Devoted Husband. REMEMBER WHAT DROVE YOU OUT OF THE HOUSE, MARGE? “I owed the Mafia money”?! Ugghh.
@Elllesar: Mine too. I stopped watching the Simpsons regularly around season 15, so I never really got to see Lisa at her (apparently) preachy worst, but a good amount of my most favourite Simpsons episodes involve Lisa, like “Lia’s Wedding” or “Summer of 4ft 2”.
@John Pavich: My favourite irony about this is that “Homer’s Night Out” follows on with Homer taking Bart to meet the belly dancer to see that she’s more than a pretty face to be lusted over, and ends with Homer giving a speech about valuing women as more than objects of lust. That would be a beta male move for any MRA.
Ben wins the thread 🙂
@Mike
Reminds me of how into “young girls” getting into borderline paedophilia territory they are and this thing Rick and Morty’s co-creator did.
Beta bux really comes off as a contradiction in terms (who’d marry Homer for da money…what money?)
These redpillers are wasting their time with the pedantic and frivolous Simpsons; they should be investigating the diabolical sensorship of Harry Potter; where it was going to be revealed that Voldemort was a feminist. He wanted to bring Bellatrix LeStrange to power as Queen; and they started the war because Dumbeldork wanted to defund Planned Parenthood. The powers that be persuaded Rowling to take these parts out; can anyone guess why?
Did one of them actually rate a CARTOON SEVEN YEAR OLD as ‘undesirable?’
I need to bleach my soul.
I’d really like to see a Chris (Simpsons artist) reference here.

GIF showing every failed business next door to Bob’s Burgers
This is a total non-sequitur except that it’s also regarding a cartoon with a daughter character that RPers probably also hate.
Please carry on.
Shelob from LOTR is a much more indubitably feminist character. RP calculates and aceverates that feminists and their sympaticos are bitter and lonely; hungry for food whether that be metaphorical or physical.
My favorite cartoon misanderer
