This is the creepiest thing I’ve read in I don’t know how long, and I’m someone who reads the manosphere every day of the week.
I hate to have to bring you the bad news, fella, but if you’re sitting around imagining how cool it would be have a sexbot that looked just like your ex, so you could keep “banging” her even after she tossed you out of her life, you are not only not “over her” but you are also not in any way, shape, or form “going your own way.”
And you’re not fooling anyone by talking about the delight you’ll get in “still bang[ing] her doppelgänger without paying for it anymore HAHA.” Because what you’re really doing is symbolically “banging” your ex not without “paying for it” — these sexbots will cost many thousands of dollars – but without her consent. It’s a kind of ritual rape, less about sexual pleasure than about violating your ex.
How do I know that? Because you’re clearly more interested in making her “furious” than you are in “banging her doppelgänger.” Indeed, you mentioned her (predictably and justifiably) furious reaction before you even got around to mentioning the sex.
If you were really interested in “going your own way,” I think it’s safe to say, you wouldn’t be sitting around on the internet imagining elaborate ways to hurt your ex. Get over her. Get over yourself. And just fucking GO already.
I’m sort of excited for sexbots to become a thing. I don’t think very many of these guys will be satisfied at all. The sexbot won’t be anything like real women and they won’t get the satisfaction of taking advantage of a real person. They’ll be sad and lonely once again, and out thousands of dollars for a fancy fleshlight. They also don’t seem to understand that women might use bots too, rather than sitting in a dark room crying about MGTOWs with sexbots. Duh, bros.

Well, they do tend to donate money to shitty causes all the time (Paul Elam, The Sarkeesian Effect, The Honey Badgers Legal Defense Fund), so perhaps this would be money better spent?
This does bring up that old analogy of the kid standing in the entryway of his house with his little backpack on and the front door wide open yelling about how he’s going to run away and we’re all going to miss him so much while he’s gone.
Their whole plan of “abandoning women and going our own way” doesn’t seem to be enough for them. They want us to be miserable too.
And that’s why I can’t fully support MGTOW, and think it’s only a good idea in theory, because I’m all for going your own way and doing what makes you happiest in life, and not doing things you think are not in your best interest and ditching gender roles, but the fact that they want us to be miserable about it is what stupefies me.
