I love it when a plan comes together! Also, when something totally unplanned comes together in an amazing way, as was the case with this video by actor and voice actor D.C. Douglas and animator Rachael Leone, based on a series of tweets from feminist writer Anne Thériault.
As Douglas explains on his website,
While doing auditions from my home studio I stumbled upon tweets from Anne Thériault that began with “narrator.” I couldn’t resist and started recording…
He posted the recording on YouTube, where it took off immediately. So he got Leone on board and she turned it into this lovely little animated film.
Thanks to everyone who sent the link to me! It’s too good not to share with the rest of you.
Thanks, lots of lulz.

Thank you!
Happy birthday, Fruitloopsie
Wow, why on earth you would do that as a series of tweets when you have a blog. (Anne’s long form stuff is fine, and this one is quite cute, but it would never even occur to me to write this as some 200 separate twitter posts.)
@lightcastle – Some people write Twitter stories or poems. I’m not sure I could write a story that way – at least not if I hadn’t planned what was happening next – but it seems like a good format for comedy where stories are often told in a series of smaller jokes.
Also… so much win! I love it! 🙂

Thanks!
This is a thing of beauty. Also, happy late birthday, fruitloopsie 🙂
#epitome – I know they do. (I know a few, including Anne) It just never ceases to boggle my mind, though, because I simply find it annoying and difficult to follow. Reading that on twitter I probably would have rolled my eyes at how terrible it was, but pulled together as a script/animation, it’s quite cute.
That was awesome. I cackled. My son loved it too (or should I say my cub).
Happy Birthday fruitloopsie!
