So I was reading through a rant on the Red Pill subreddit that’s so over-the-top ridiculous that it got downvoted to zero by the Red Pill masses. (Or maybe they voted it down because it wasn’t woman-hating enough? Hard to tell, where the Red Pill is concerned.)
Regardless, the rant inspired some, well, revealing commentary from other Red Pillers. Like this creepy and amazing mini-masterpiece of misogyny, from a comment by beerthroway that actually got some upvotes from the Red Pill masses. I’ve bolded some of the best –by which I mean the worst — bits.

Okay, so I read a lot of romance novels, and I’ll admit, there are a lot of romance heroes are on the dominating side. The romance fandom even calls them alphas (as a character type, not a description of real-world men). A lot of MRAs/Terpers/”complementarian” conservative Christians like to use this as evidence that all women want a domineering asshole, despite all claims to the contrary.
Ignoring all the well-trod issues of (a) not all women like those romance novel heroes, because not all women are identical (b) what people fantasize about (much less what they enjoy reading about) is not identicle to what they actually want…
The terper/conservative Christian depiction of alphaness is actually not that close to what you see in romance novels. Sure, he tends to be rich and powerful and bossy (which she puts up with to various degrees), but he actually cares about her welfare (so not a terper) and supports her goals, even if they are not being a home-schooling housewife (so not a conservative Christian patriarch).
