Amartya Talukdar is a Men’s Rights Activist and self-described “dedicated humanist” who’s written numerous posts for A Voice for Men — most notoriously, the explicit apologia for marital rape that I wrote about earlier this week. In that post, Talukdar declared that “marriage is a licence for sex” and lamented that if marital rape is made illegal in India, men denied sex by their wives might have to resort to masturbation, prostitution, or cheating to find sexual relief.
That’s right; he seems to think that it’s more of a crime for a woman to “force” a man to turn to masturbation than it is for that man to force sex on his unwilling wife.
Well, it turns out that Talukdar has some other, er, interesting beliefs as well. In a series of recent Tweets, he’s revealed himself to be a Holocaust denier and Hitler admirer who believes that Hillary Clinton is a “Jewess.” No, really.

In this Twitter conversation (archived here), he asks “what is wrong with fasicism [sic]” and credits Hitler with “help[ing] us in freedom movement.”
Oh, he also thinks that “same sex marriage will destroy America,” but I guess that’s not a big shock coming from a Hitler fan.
So how will AVFM respond to the news that one of their contributors is an honest-to-goodness Holocaust denier who goes around defending Hitler on Twitter? Will they denounce his foul views, cut all ties with him, and remove all of his posts from their site, as any reasonable organization would do? Or will they deflect and deny?
Somehow I suspect that it will be the latter.

A fringe tactic so common it’s like clockwork. Same with photo ops. If an entire group is 97% pale faces, a “group” photo will have the handful of POC/women in the front. “See! We’re diverse!”.
On the subject of POC or even Jews pushing racist, anti-semite ideology, these are people with an amoral political agenda, whether they really believe what their pushing or not. David Cole is an excellent example. Simply a conartist who used his Jewish background to buy cred in sleazy political quarters.

It wouldn’t be surprising if he was. Isn’t there a poll or study out there that the American public would rather have someone who’s religious, regardless of religion, be in office rather than an atheist? Until atheism gets more mainstream and less demonized–hopefully with less (or, ideally, no) douchey, MRA, evo-psych types–it’s prudent for atheists who want to run for president to pretend they’re Christian. Hopefully by the time we get an atheist president, we’ll at least get a couple non-Christian one.

Uh-huh. And how many men are being burned to death by wives and mothers-in-law for dowries? How many men get sexually harassed by women just for walking down a street? How many men are being raped to death on city buses by women gangs armed with iron bars? And how is married men’s suicide rate tied to so-called misandry? Because correlation ≠ causation, you know.
I’d take your comment a lot more seriously if it weren’t in fact WOMEN being oppressed for reasons of gender, in India and just about everywhere.
Aren’t a lot of those suicides farm workers who have been economically devastated by the changes the country is going as it becomes more industrialized and capitalist and less agrarian? How is feminism responsible for this?
