I screen out a lot of truly terrible comments from drive-by commenters. Though I don’t want these people roaming freely in the comments here, some of what they post is really too good not to share with the world.
And by “too good” I mean “holy crap what the hell is wrong with this person?”
One such commenter, calling himself AvoidDeception, recently offered his thoughts on co-ed facilities, and why women, despite their deep hatred of men, actually prefer them to women’s-only alternatives. Enjoy!
He starts off with a little sarcasm:
What’s wrong with women only schools, women only workplaces, women only hospitals and women only retirement homes? LETS HAVE MORE WOMEN ONLY, SAFE, NON-TRIGGERING SPACES, RIGHT?
Wouldn’t that be great for women? No longer would women have to deal with men.
KNOW WHY THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN? YOU’RE GOING TO LOVE THIS!
And here comes a plot twist worthy of M. Night Shyamalan.
Women need co-ed everything to falsely accuse men of rape, sexual assault and harassment. Without this power over men and without their dead husbands, fathers and divorce raped X husbands, women would have no wealth. It is therefore imperative for women to have co-ed schools, workplaces, hospitals and retirement homes. Without these things, women can’t continue the blackmail and intimidation of men via fear, false rape, harassment and sexual assault charges.
Clever girls.
Ask any modern college hobag what I’m talking about. They’ll deny every single word. What more solid, positive proof can you get than that?
I’m not sure I agree with you 100 percent on your police work there, Lou.
Feminism’s ultimate goal is the destruction of the patriarchy, right? What does that mean, dear mother? It means your son will come to hate you deeply (and rightfully so) upon the recognition that you blew smoke up his anal cavity while simultaneously sexing up most of your neighbors – ho. He will divorce you both physically and mentally, dear mother, and cut all women from his life after learning the hard way that women are the most evil creatures ever mistakenly spawned. Where will he get this information. FROM ME!
Someone woke up on the wrong side of bed this life.
Know how I know women will cum crawling back to men on their knees? Think long and hard.
Er, penis? Really? I’m not sure that’s going to be enough of an incentive for any woman considering crawling back to you.
What’s wrong with the world today? Christians, conservatives, feminists, liberals, white knights, captain-save-a-hos, and most certainly every single member of WeHunted(then ate)TheMammouth.
What’s a “mammouth?” Some sort of mixed drink? A Manhattan, with a mammoth tusk instead of a maraschino cherry?
He ends this lovely miniature manifesto with an equally lovely death wish:
Bye, cowards. Hope you have a painful death!
Have a lovely life stewing in your own rage.
For a group that claims women are falsely accusing men of rape they sure love slapping the word rape onto things to create terms like divorce-rape. I’m surprised they haven’t replaced murder with life-rape yet. Actually, they probably have done that somewhere. What’s next? A woman cuts you off when you had the right of way =road rape? A woman burns your toast at breakfast =breakfast rape? All they accomplish by saying “divorce-rape” is letting decent people know that everything they have to say can be ignored without any worries of missing out on anything worth hearing.
This goes beyond the sort of thing where you try to point out all of the obvious flaws, even for the sake of some 3rd party. The wrongness speaks for itself, as it does with many of these posts. All I can figure is this is someone who spends vastly more time talking with other MRAs than doing anything else in life, as such when he imagines a woman doing things he always imagines the woman doing the things hateful MRAs talk about. You try to hack that into something logically consistent and you get a creature more similar to the xenomorphs of the “Alien” franchise than a real life woman.
Wait….. You mean instead of working for a living all these years and supporting myself I could have instead just made false rape accusations against every man I have ever met? Dammit I could have been a millionaire by now! Except I couldn’t. Because if you think that is what is happening in the world you belong in a mental institution. Like most of the MRAs I come across.
@bill
“2 + zebra ÷ glockenspiel = homeopathy works!” LOL
@paradoxical
you have my admiration as well. By speaking up are helping so many others.
So, um, admitting it would be proof, right? And denying it…also proof? Hmm.
‘Ask any modern college hobag what I’m talking about. They’ll deny every single word. What more solid, positive proof can you get than that?’
I’m still having some trouble with that moebius band of logic. Though I have a suggestion about what might offer more positive proof: Actual Proof.
And how does he explain the fact that lots of feminists campaign for female only spaces? Are they supposed to be secret FemRA agents?
@Vicky “Because if you think that is what is happening in the world you belong in a mental institution. Like most of the MRAs I come across.”
I’d presonally rather not put them in a place with a bunch of vulnerable people with serious issues. Being a misogynistic asshat conspiracy theorist isn’t a mental illness.
personally*
I don’t want this to get embarrassing, but ParadoxicalIntention, I too admire you. I wish I had even a tenth of your strength.
And as for the guy in OP, his lack of logic is the biggest argument against his particular disordered brand of MRA.
When men think that avoiding misogyny means avoiding all men it tells me that they think men are inherently misogynist because they are.
No self awareness. None.
The name! Avoid deception? That’s rich.
lolwut?
Holy cow, those are some super special mommy issues.
As to painful deaths, we have the funniest little book called Unpleasant Ways to Die. It is snarkily dedicated to, “Those of us who will have the honor”. If your sense of humor is a little dark I recommend it.
Because heaven knows women can’t work. All those sitcoms featuring working women, from 30 Rock through Ally McBeal, Murphy Brown, Laverne & Shirley, clear through to the chocolate episode of I Love Lucy, are all LIES 100 PER FUCKING CENT LIES WEAR YOUR MIND SHIELDS TO PREVENT THE FEEEEEEEEEMALES FROM BEAMING THEIR DECEPTION STRAIGHT INTO YOUR BRAIN PAN
(I’m slow today — it took me three tries to parse the bolded bit.)
Yeah, that line about “ask a woman, and when she denies it, there’s your proof” is pretty much rock-solid conspiracy thinking. It’s rare to see it on such naked display, though–usually, there’s a couple of steps allowing it to make convenient circular reasoning; that sentence is just pirouetting.
I fart in this man’s general direction.
Hugs for Paradoxical Intention and everybody else who needs one!
@Vicky
Um. Given how terrible a lot of institutions are already… why would you want to make them *more* terrible by adding MRAs?
We were so due for another edition of “all wealth belongs naturally to men, women only deserve to survive at the pleasure of men, any woman who has any money that was not given freely to her by a man is stealing.”
@ The Knitting Cinephile:
This gives me a great idea to include my lactose-intolerant feline furrinato in the misandric games: I’ll feed him some tuna and cheese and then let him fart in that man’s general direction.
I’ll be the one in the gas mask. >:)
Spindrift, the sad thing is that “road rape” would actually make more sense than “divorce rape.” At least the woman cutting you off is depriving you of something yours by right, unlike the wife divorcing you who is only taking what’s hers by right. You could even make some kind of tenuous analogy that by impinging on your freedom of motion she infringes on a tiny part of your bodily autonomy.
I mean, it’s still very, very stupid. But slightly less so.
Oh my god my brain hurts from logic being tortured like that. Is there a pithy name for this fallacy? That denying an accusation is evidence (or “positive proof”) that it’s true?

“captain-save-a-hos”
Can’t tell if this is a new term, or if I’ve just never noticed it until now.
<Captain Save a Hoe is an early ’90s rap song by E-40.
The lyrics hit on some of the manosphere’s bullshit, hot-button fears and seem to fit fairly well into their “alpha-beta” delusions, so I guess it’s unsurprising that one would incorporate it into one of his rants….
So if she agrees with you that means it’s untrue? Why not flip for it instead? Heads I win, tails you lose.
As a Christian, I just feel so super proud to be the first on that beautiful list. So glad that we’re being recognized as a woman-enabling part of what’s wrong with the world today. 😀
