Women are like dogs that eat their own puke: A lesson in tolerance from Red Pill Redditors

Hey, sexy lady!
Hey, sexy lady!

So one young fellow went to the Ask The Red Pill subreddit earlier today with what almost looked like a good question, at least for someone whose thoughts about women have been distorted by Red Pill thinking: “How can I learn to appreciate women for what they are?”

Alas, it turned out that his question, and his situation, was a bit more complicated than it at first appeared. For young somthsomth is not some predatory pickup artist who wants to challenge his own misogyny and learn how to appreciate women as more than mere sex objects.

No, there’s a bit more involved than that.

An introvert who lost his virginity at age 23 (not that there’s anything wrong with this), somthsomth is convinced that all the women who’ve had sex with him since then were just “doing it as a favour, thinking about someone else while at it.”

These days, he says, despite learning the correct Red Pill ways to score the HBs, he

ignore[s] women unless there is something in for me, business wise. … I don’t see any of this as a worthwhile conquest any more. I can be happy alone and by myself. Masturbate if needed. When our eyes lock I see them riding CC and think about how it really is. How they had someone elses tongue in their mouth last week and someone elses cock in them. Probably same tomorrow. Why would I even want to put my tongue there any more or worse, cunnilingus around the hole where so many others have been. This feeling makes me sick. To touch something like that.

Uh, what? I don’t think you need advice from Red Pillers. I mean, no one ever does, but that goes double in your case. What you need is to talk to a therapist. And I mean that literally. Your issues aren’t going to be solved on Reddit, even if you ask your questions somewhere less toxic than Ask TRP. Seriously: it is unlikely you will ever be happy unless you get actual professional help.

But, what the heck, let’s see what sort of advice the Red Pillers had for you.

“Now that you are becoming more attractive and have a wider selection of women, you will see that a lot of them are CC riding sluts with meaningless jobs and meaningless hobbies,” dinkle_berrg noted. “These girls are for fun, but I see they make you sick.”

The solution? Look for nice girls in that sea of shallow “CC riding sluts.” Even though, you know, they’re mostly shallow “CC riding sluts.”

pilledgod agreed, explaining that even though All Women Are Like That (AWALT), “some are more clean, fun, and rewarding overall.”

Others pointed out that it is possible for even committed Red Pillers to appreciate women as the clearly inferior but sometimes entertaining creatures they are.

“I used to be annoyed that girls were never philosophical,” wrote cofair, “but Sometimes you just want to live in the moment and stop being so cynical. They have a childlike wonder that I will never have again.”

RealRational had some very, er, rational thoughts on the matter.

I can definitely relate to that “ew” feeling you get when you realize what women really are. As others have said in here, there are good ones and bad ones. Looking at it as a transaction with assigned values is really the best way to do it. Some are higher value, decide where your floor is.

NOTE: Try to do the math in your head. It’s a little offputting to women if you whip out a calculator while you’re assigning values.

Also, remember that defective women can, to some degree, be repaired:

But the thing is that this is what women are. They can be trained to be better, just as boys can be made into men, TRP is very helpful in that regard. But you can never let your guard down with them, your frame. … .

The real question is: Are women worth more to you than booze and pot?

[A]ll you have to decide is if the risks are great enough for you to deny yourself this luxury, women. Women are a luxury, like alcohol or weed, a vice that you allow yourself as reward for hard work.

RealRational thinks that they probably are:

Personally I think if you deny yourself the experience of the feminine you are doing yourself great discredit. The masculine exists to drive innovation, progress. It is the embodiment of discipline, the only effective tool at shaping the universe according to your own will, your own desires. The feminine is our reward for doing so. It provides a safe harbor, a place of refuge from the toils of life.

Oh, and RealRational has some ReallyRational thoughts on homosexuality, which for some reason he feels the need to share at this point. Apparently it’s the fault of society not liking macho dudes enough?

The need for [the feminine] lies at the very heart of every man, which means “gays” are nature’s response to an imbalance. Society demonizes everything masculine? Nature says “fine, then both genders can be feminine and your entire species can die”. Fortunately for us nature is never absolute in it’s adjustments.

In the meantime, get out there and spin some plates!

Women, higher quality women, do have a lot to offer that will lessen your burden and make your toil much more bearable by virtue of providing you a healthy, happy home to find respite in which allows you to more fully rest which allows you to more effectively work. That’s what “home” is. But even a plate, if she’s able to offer you this safe haven for even a single night, is still valuable. Just less valuable than the former.

SariaLystra was also big on the whole “training” thing, although all he seemed to want to train women to do was to clean his house:

Make them into your personal maid. I’m not kidding: you’re instilling value into them and then getting something out of it. If she isn’t serving you, she’s not worth anything to you other than being a wet hole.

Balalasaurus summed up the whole Woman Question with a simple analogy. Because women are, essentially, just like dogs, only hopefully a bit less furry.

Dogs lick themselves whenever they feel like. They shit in public and don’t give a damn where. When they throw up, they usually eat their own puke.

Does that mean that they’re any less enjoyable as pets? Does it take anything away from the fact that they are man’s best friend? Similarly, women will behave the way they do because its their nature. You can’t hold it against them. Doing so will cause you endless frustration.

Exactly. So if a woman shits on your living room rug, or humps your leg, or starts drinking out of the toilet, remember: That’s just the way they are!

Also, Balalasaurus thinks that maybe our boy somthsomth should try a cooking class. Dogs love cooking!

What you could do is change the context where you meet women. For example instead of trying to meet women at a bar, instead meet them at places where you get to do the things you enjoy like a cooking class for example. I’m not saying that will eliminate the CC riders, but the quality of women that you will find will be that much closer to what you really want.

Just don’t start feeding them table scraps. That will encourage begging.

“zoon – you forgot logger and deep sea fishing!”

And yelling at internet feminists, the most important and manly of jobs!

Y’know, if your ego is so fragile that you are completely disgusted by the idea that a woman may have even just kissed another man before meeting you, then dating is probably not for you. Just saying.

They sure do like that “woman as dogs” metaphor. They need a new one.

Zoon! SWEET!

My volunteer position made the cut of Real Jobs! Whoot! But… if all women’s jobs are meaningless, what happens if a woman is employed in one of the Real Jobs?

I ask because there were two women who passed in the last round of testing for getting hired into the career side of the department, and I’m one of another two women in the current class working towards being entry qualified instead of just a scene-support firefighter…

Did we just destroy the Real Job?

Maybe they should combine the ones they love the most, dogs and cars!

My upper lip curled in disgust after reading this and I can’t get it to go back down. Is this normal? if it stays up for more than 4 hours should I see a doctor?

@contrapangloss–I’ve been meaning to ask you this for a while, please ignore if not interesting to you/too personal. I remember reading years ago that a local fire department had put women who wanted to join the department into a catch-22 situation–they required these women to meet certain fitness tests, but also had a maximum weight limit for women, so that any woman strong enough to meet the fitness tests would likely be labelled too ‘overweight’ to be accepted. Have you ever heard of such a thing? More broadly, how different are the requirements for men and women, and do they make a difference in terms of either recruitment or performance?

Yes. If your face is frozen in an expression of utter disgust for longer than 4 hours, you might need a check-up.

In the meantime, avoid the source of the disgust-stimulus and look at something heart/face-melty, like kittens or the dog in a dog car gif.

Whenever I read mra’s wax about women I can only think of this:

@Scarlettathena

Yeah. What gets me is how filthy they must think men are. I mean, if women are that dirty just from touching and having sex with men, EVEN after multiple showers, how dirty must the men have been to begin with??

And once again we are shown who the true misandrists are.

“The only Real Jobs are: firefighter, policeman, soldier, oil rig worker, professional wrestler, coal miner, computer programmer, nuclear physicist, venture capitalist, and caveman.”

I’m a woman geologist and have worked in oil exploration and mining. Does that mean my jobs were Real Jobs? Or were they only Real Job-adjacent on account of my gender?

Or maybe they were just silly hobbies?

Guest, every department is different. My department has never done such a thing, to the best of my knowledge.

I don’t know of any departments (of the top of my head) that have, either, but I’d imagine it could have happened.

In my department (and most of the departments in the state) the requirements for men and women are identical, however the requirements are different for career staff versus volunteers.

Volunteers have it easy! Our requirements are:
1) No criminal history
2) Clean driving history and a licence!
3) Have a current shot record
4) Have a CPR Healthcare Provider card.
5) Be healthy enough to wear an SCBA
6) Pass the department’s interview.
7) Be willing and able to train to increase both EMS and Fire knowledge and certifications.

The department then does in house training, first to the Scene-Support level, then Fire-1. On the EMS side, they also do in house training of ETT, then to EMT-1 with a bridge course.

(They’ll sometimes ship career EMT’s off to Paramedic school, but volunteers have to pay their own way for anything above EMT-1)

For folks wanting to go into career, things are a little more strict. The guidelines for men and women are still the same. For the career, all of the above hold, plus they add a week of testing (whenever they need to do a new hiring push) to check the following:

To qualify to test, you have to already have a minimum of Firefighter-1 and EMT-1, with Firefighter-1 and Paramedic preferred.

The tests include:
1) EMT Practical Skills examination, to national standards
2) EMT Written examination, to national standards
3) Department EMS Protocol Examination (local standing orders for medical direction)
4) Two Psychological written examinations
5) A phone psych interview with department psychologist after he/she reviews the written exams
6) A fire written examination
7) Some fire essays, timed
8) Successful completion of a “Physical Agility Course” which is composed of a sequence of tasks that firefighters are expected to be able to carry out on the fireground.

The physical agility course isn’t actually about speed, however you are not allowed to pause during the course. You have to have continual motion, no matter what, and keep going between tasks.

Some, but not all of the tasks, include:
1) Single person throw of a 24 ft ladder
2) Dragging a 200 lb dummy 100 ft
3) Raising the flies of a stationary 34 ft ladder
4) Doing the Kaiser (simulates breaching a roof for ventilation)
5) Lots of stair climbing!
6) Going through a tight maze in blackout conditions
7) Hitting a cone with water from a 2-1/2 inch hose + 1 1/8th smoothbore tip, without a backup person.

…. and others. In your gear. You also have to have an annual physical that says that you’re healthy enough to endure strenuous conditions without your body deciding to kill you for you (i.e. you aren’t likely to have a heart attack/easily broken bones/breathing complications while doing firefighter activities).

Locally, there are definitely more guys on the career side than women, but there was a lady who was head honcho for a while. She since moved on to being admin for the local trooper post.

This last round of testing was pretty even though! Only 5 folks passed, and 2 were women.

On the volunteer side, the gender divide is a bit more even. On paper, there are a LOT more men than women, however when you look at how many volunteers respond to calls… Response time and call counts are pretty even.

Admittedly, I kind of skewed the statistics a bit towards women responding, because last summer I had no job and pretty much spent every single C shift doing 24 hour volunteer rides with the career staff, and ended up racking up a pretty decent call count.

It was nice to finally get a job, but I kind of miss the 24 hour shifts. 🙁

So, yeah, TL;DR Version!

Every department’s different, but my department (and from what I’ve heard about other departments in the state) has physical qualifications based on health (as reported by a physician), mental health, and ability to carry out essential tasks. Since those essential tasks do not vary by gender, neither do the tests.

This could easily vary by department, especially in larger cities. For instance, there are departments where to even be a volunteer you have to be a firefighter-1/paramedic already and do a testing process, because they have enough people to be pickier.

There could be some department with a big enough pool of people who want to be firefighters that they could pull shenanigans like you described and deprive themselves of potentially awesome firefighters.

Does that cover it?

Do they think men and women have entirely different hobbies? Are reading and watching horror movies meaningless because I’m a woman and like those things? Or are they meaningful because those aren’t hobbies that are almost exclusively female?

Also, I thought dogs were boys and cats were girls. This is very confusing!

Thank you for the detailed explanation, and for taking the time to write it out. Makes me want to go check out our local fire department….:) It sounds from what you wrote that the ‘maximum weight’ requirement, for either gender, is unnecessary–you’re either healthy, and competent to do the tasks required for the job, or you aren’t. It also sounds like they’ve developed a test that demonstrates that you’re competent to do physical tasks associated with the actual work, not just a ‘fitness test’ to weed out undesirables. (I used to teach engineering, and it was pretty clear to me that a lot of the advanced math required to get on the course was designed to weed out undesirables; I’ve been an engineer for nearly 30 years now and have never needed that level of math to perform my work.) What I heard may have been true some time ago, and as you said may still be true in some places, but what you’ve shown me is that it’s possible for a fire department to create a fair and equitable system that allows them to get the people with the skills and abilities they need while making sure women aren’t put at a disadvantage. And that’s pretty cool. Good luck with your next qualification!

Even back in my (relatively) carefree single days, when I was about to have sexytimes with some new guy, the question of ‘am I going where no man has gone before?’ never really troubled me. If anything, I’d be hoping someone had, because first-timing a guy can be challenging. Rewarding, if you do it carefully and well, but challenging.

Of course, I wasn’t under the misconception that multiple partners icks you up for life, either.

Haha yeah pretty much–I don’t tend to measure anything that precisely. Though if you’ve seen anything about building CERN, the precision they required for those GIGANTIC pieces of equipment is superhuman. I can’t even imagine how they did it. (I had the chance to visit a couple of years ago; when I was printing out my invitation at the office printer one of my colleagues looked over my shoulder and said DON’T TOUCH ANYTHING.)

Personally I think if you deny yourself the experience of the feminine you are doing yourself great discredit. The masculine exists to drive innovation, progress. It is the embodiment of discipline, the only effective tool at shaping the universe according to your own will, your own desires. The feminine is our reward for doing so. Ah yes. We’re falling back on the argument that housework, cooking, and childrearing are actually super easy jobs that women just do to reward men for doing the “real” work. Also, men are the default humans, and women are just their rewards.

Note to biotruthers: evolution is not a sentient being that personally decides what traits it wants everyone to have and which ones it does not.

*Very* envious (but happy for you) that you’ve been there. There was a quote about CERN I liked:

“It’s where we tell the Laws of Physics to sit in a corner and shut the fuck up”

[I know that’s pretty much the opposite of what they do, but I still like it]
