Men's Rights Activist: "I'm not into music by women, because I can't identify with getting my period in a business meeting."

I'm just not into music by human beings
I’m just not into music by human beings

So over on the Men’s Rights subreddit, a charming fellow with the charming name of FuckAllSJWs wants the world to know that

I’m not into music by women, because I can’t identify with getting my period in a business meeting, or sympathize with some waiflike chick strumming a guitar while singing weakly about her feelings.

Or one trying to use her tits to get airplay.

Thanks for your opinion! We are all better for having heard it.

Here’s Yoko Ono with a rebuttal:

If anyone knows where I could find songs about getting periods in business meetings, let me know, because I would really like to hear some.

I know I mentioned Yoko yesterday, but I’m pretty sure every time someone posts something non-abusive about her online an MRA angel loses its wings.

This song is called “Love Amazon.” So, feelings, I guess?

Shalimar: AAHHH! I love that Edif Piaf song, since it was the star of one of my favorite movies, Inception.

Nope, nope. That song was the star.

So, i take it he’s not a fan of the Beatles and their silly love songs?

I’m so glad to see Heart and Evanescence on here, they were like the first ones I thought of when I was reading his whining about female artists. Joan Jett, Lita Ford, and The Donnas, all weaklings then lmao. And that’s just what comes to my mind first. There are so many more. His loss I suppose.

Great thread, though. I’ve been seeing a lot of artists I like, and some I haven’t heard of until now but will definitely be checking out later. Thanks, mamotheers, for making my day!

I can’t identify with getting my period in business meetings, either. Mainly because I don’t do business meetings.

No business meetings but “Blood On My Underwear” by Yankee Bang Bang is pretty awesome.

No “getting my period in business meetings” songs but here are songs about periods

Tried to find Screaming Females’ “Bad Men” for misandry points but it doesn’t seem to be on YouTube. Enjoy this instead:

The glaring, blaring, oblivious obviousness of the misogyny here is, well, all those adjectives. They’re explicitly saying, “I don’t want to hear women’s voices”. This isn’t red wine/white wine, this is about how they see their fellow humans.

Pretty sure he’s referring to “Blood in the Boardroom” by Ani Difranco. It’s delightful.

can these boys smell me bleeding

One of the most amazing voices in music ever:

She is also famous for the incomprehensible nature of her vocals, so she could be singing about periods in 90% of the songs for all I know!

Is it any surprise that this goof thinks that “Blood in the Boardroom” is actually about getting one’s period during a business meeting? I think it’s pretty clear that it’s about being an alienated outsider in a society full of privileged people who take their power for granted. Something that I’m sure many men could relate to, even if it’s beyond MRAsshole’s scope of imagination.
