Oh dear. Fantasy author and garbage person Vox Day is having one of those (vox) days, and has decided to take it out on, you guessed it, feminism, pounding out an overwrought little rant on his Alpha Game blog.
Never give feminists an inch. Don’t agree with them, don’t tolerate them, show them no mercy whatsoever. Feminism is a Satanic, anti-Christian, anti-reason, anti-science ideology that destroys literally everything it touches and everyone who embraces it.
Wow. He’s so mad he’s practically plagiarizing Pat Robertson’s famous quote about feminism being “a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians.” I’m not sure how Vox managed to forget the lesbian witchcraft angle.
Reject it and its adherents the way you would reject someone offering you plutonium on their bare hands; to accept it is to begin to die a slow and painful death.
Might I offer you some notes, Vox? This bit seems a little understated. I mean, the plutonium thing is pretty good, but a person handing you plutonium isn’t anywhere near as scary as having, say, a bear do it. Or a shark. Or a bear-shark. Or a bear-sharknado.
The problem isn’t merely that feminists are ugly and hateful, or that their ideology is incoherent and deluded, but that by mere toleration of them, through mere intellectual contact with it, you are permitting your life to be infected and degraded.
Clearly Vox, a dude who clings to memories of his D-list celebrity as a former member of an angsty dance band two decades ago, and who devotes much of his life to pounding out hateful and unintentionally self-parodic rants on the internet, offers us the very model of a healthy and happy life well-lived.
Reject all of it. Reject their appeals to equality. Reject their pretense to intellectual standing. And most of all, personally reject all of those who subscribe to it in any way, shape, or form. Any man who calls himself a feminist is ideologically transgender and mentally unstable.
Ideologically transgender? Wow. He’s come up with an even more obnoxious way to call someone a “mangina.”
Vox, you’re so cute when you’re angry!
And by cute I mean a you’re a pathetic, hateful, disgusting excuse for a human being.
Nope. I always picture Beale as a walking, talking genital wart, myself.
Nope…I’m hoping he tries it and loses profits on legal fees out the wazoo, myself! As if anyone’s “entitled” to profits by teaching guys how to sexually assault women, anyway…
I can understand where VD is coming from. The poor man could have been president if the SFWA right now if it hadn’t been for the feminazi SJWs and their hateful, irrational objection to his perfectly reasonable racism and sexism. He’s lost so much *single tear*
So, an update on what I know:
Blanc can’t sue the whole government respectively because he’ll be brought up on charges, so he’s specifically going to sue Scott Morrison, who wasn’t the Prime Minister (my bad, I misunderstood there), but he was the Minister of Immigration Affairs, but he no longer has that job.
Morrison was the one who denied Blanc’s visa and wouldn’t let him into the country, so I suppose that means, in Blanc’s mind that Morrison is the reason he was cancelled upon.
@emilygoddess: I cackled at that. Bravo.
Not only does VD suggest venereal disease – every time LBT mentioned ED (as in eating disorder) I always thought ‘erectile dysfunction’.
Speaking of which, I still miss LBT. But I’m glad that they’re taking care of themselves.
Yeah. And I miss Ally too. When did she stop posting? I know that her father…uh…gave her good reason to fear him, so I worry what if something happened to her?
I’ve more equated Vox with herpes, because he also seems to be impossible to get rid of.
Can someone point me to an example of a satanic Christian?
Robert, I always read ED that way too!
Oh my, I would love to see Blanc get his arse, or at least his wallet, kicked in court. Priceless.
Don’t know if anyone remembers the name of the Victorian Police Commissioner at the time, Ken Lay, who essentially said “We don’t need that sort of shitbag here” and was very strong on fighting violence against women, making it an issue in the recent State election. Sadly he’s retiring at the end of the month, early in his term. I just hope they find a replacement for him who does as good a job.
I don’t think anyone can, Pally.
I’m pretty sure that’s some kind of theism paradox. You can’t worship Christ and everything he stands for, and then worship Satan.
Unless, perhaps, you also take into account all the good things Lucifer did. Like giving mankind the gift of critical thinking. He wasn’t really that bad of a guy.

According to the AoGs I worked with years back, any Catholic would fit the description, though they’d probably not admit that being Catholic is really Christian at all.
Must tell Mr K he’s been a Satanist all this time and never knew.
ParadoxicalIntention, love those memes! 😀
The idea of Satan as the evil being was a twist on his role in Judaism anyway. He was more God’s servant there, doing his dirty work essentially, if I’ve understood it correctly.
kittehserf: It’s called “Good Guy Lucifer”, and it’s one of the few memes I can say I really enjoy.
And really? I didn’t know that! : o Interesting!
A little off topic: I also finally unlocked Judas in The Binding of Isaac Rebirth. I became the kitty Guppy, Destroyer of Worlds and my fly army and I killed Satan in under two minutes. (Though I was freaking out because an item I had picked up, Broken Watch, sped up Satan’s movements and actions and I thought I wasn’t going to be able to keep up.)

Bless that cute little transformation. Though, it always makes me a little sad because the real Guppy that’s owned by the creator of the game and his girlfriend passed away earlier this year, bless his little kitty soul.
May you forever be pwning enemies in the afterlife with your fly bros, Guppy.
Damnit, it didn’t embed properly and I can’t find a proper image. : P
That’s a wonderful name – Guppy, Destroyer of Worlds.
Would Guppy be allied with Bygul and Trjegul? Or would he take them on in epic battle?
Speaking of whom, I just found this ace picture of Thor being frocked up for his Freya impersonation. I love the way Bygul and Trjegul are sitting staring at him.

I would like to think so. Guppy (I only tag on the Destroyer of Worlds because it’s true) is a kickass transformation in the world of TBoI. (Which has a LOT of christian references, which is why I brought it up) In fact, becoming Guppy (by gathering three of the coveted Guppy items out of Collar, Head, Paw, Tail, Hairball and Dead Cat either by trading away heart containers to the Devil or accessing Curse Rooms lucky enough to have one) is almost an instant win in my experience.
You gain the ability to fly, you spawn flies who attack your enemies for you, you get a huge damage boost, and it’s all around A Very Good Thing.
It’s possible to muck it all up if you’re missing some vital parts of your run (HP being the most likely cause), but it’s hard unless you’re absolutely terrible at the game, but then how did you come across enough Guppy items in the first place?
Some people in the community claim it’s “too easy” to become Guppy and proceed to Fuck Shit Up, but I think it’s just fun so I do it anyway.
Anti-Christian AND anti-science! What will they think of next?
@boogerghost
Well, anything we claim to like, we only like it for the attention of men.
Anything we claim to dislike, we only claim to dislike it to oppress men.
So, we’re anti-individualism and anti-personality?
::snerk::
We must be anti-no-personality, ‘cos MRAs are sorely lacking in that department (along with most others).
Is it just me, or is the MRA crowd becoming more and more transphobic as more trans women find themselves welcomed by third-wave intersectional feminism?
“Satanic, anti-Christian, anti-reason, anti-science ”
I don’t think ol’ Vox knows what any of those terms means.
Actually, judging from the Eleven Satanic Rules of the Earth, they seem kinda feminist to me.
http://churchofsatan.com/eleven-rules-of-earth.php
I think we all agree on number four to a point: “If a guest in your lair annoys you, treat him cruelly and without mercy.”
Beyond that, there’s literally a rule that says “Don’t have sex with someone unless they consent”, which I highly approve of.
Must be a day that ends in ‘y’.
The context of all this is Scott Aaronson’s post about just how hard it was to be white and nerdy growing up, and how he basically literally became neurotic over the idea that he might accidentally be sexist when interacting with women (as he describes it).
A couple feminists (like Amanda Marcotte, for example), fisked the blog post by showing how much entitlement was running through it, and how Scott’s experience was basically just personal issues projected onto women and feminists.
Vox Day responds with “look, even a feminist guy gets attacked when he’s at his most subservient. Feminists are so terrible.” Despite the fact that Scott’s post was pretty much 100% Nice Guy ™ insecurity that wasn’t very feminist at all, and despite the criticisms pointing this out.
I guess Vox is a writer, not a reader, because it looks like he literally just saw “guy who considers himself feminist gets criticized by women” and decided that was a good enough summary of the situation. Even one of his links has the text “calls [Scott] an MRA,” when the linked post does nothing of the sort.
*sigh*
I guess basic reading comprehension is too much to ask.
Oh, is that what set off Pox’s latest froth?
That Aaronson, blech. The MRAs are swarming all over that one. How dare women not coddle Poor Scott’s feefees and neglected boner! How dare people run anti-harassment classes that are about, y’know, not harassing people, instead of being dating classes for entitled whiney dudes!
@kittehserf:
Yuppers.
How dare feminism give young Scott an unsubstantiated impression that all women were waiting for him to trip up so they could pounce and call him a misogynist? How dare women not realize that their experiences with sexism are matched by a white nerd’s completely internal conflict with asking people out?
It’s kind of astounding to read Vox Day’s portrayal and compare it to the actual situation. It’s barely a commentary; just a cut-and-paste rant with a tenuous connection to current events. I doubt he even read the stuff he blockquoted.
