Pickup artist Roosh V wins Most Unfortunate Metaphor of the Year Award, may not know how babies are made

Oh, you're a model? You mean, like a tentacle model?
Oh, you’re a model? You mean, like a tentacle model?

Pickup guru Roosh Valizadeh is not only a terrible, terrible person. He is also an abuser of language.

In a post entitled Culture War Predictions For 2015, Roosh forecasts great things for the “manosphere” in the coming year. Or perhaps the coming 9 months?

Prepare yourself for the most belabored (heh heh) pregnancy metaphor the world has ever seen:

In 2013, we saw a large increase in manosphere readership that began to ejaculate our ideas onto the mainstream. In 2014, these ideas became the morning sickness that left the enemy unprepared and unwilling to respond with logic, reason, and facts. In 2015, you will see the birthing on our side of semi-formalized alliances between various groups that use more organized action to deal crushing blows upon panicked feminists and SJW’s. Media owners will reconsider their usefulness. At the same time, our mob will grow to a frightening size after growing big and strong on breast milk, and they will be lustful for blood.

Obviously, there is nothing in that paragraph that isn’t awful. But I’m a little hung up on that first sentence. Roosh: I know you probably watch a lot of porn, dude, but you are aware that in order to make a baby, you need to deposit your sperm into a woman, not onto her, like certain kinds of squid.

Actually, I’m a little confused about exactly what happens, with the squid in any case; their sex parties get pretty freaky. But I am pretty sure that to make human babies the sperm needs to get inside the woman somewhere in that whole region down there.

Could it be that Roosh learned everything he knows about reproduction from Men in Black?

Alright I’d like to go back and really apologize. Sorry for the virgin shaming.

In my own clumsy way I was trying to mock Roosh’s stunning ignorance and hatred, I wasn’t aware of how insulting I was being. So I apologize for that.

So I figure it’s more: 2015: the year the boil grew big enough to lance.

Yeah, a boil is WAAAAAAY more apt than Doosh’s bungled pregnancy metaphor!

You know, I’ve felt that this year was more or less the moment when all the muck under the surface in the “manosphere” finally burst all over mainstream culture, and now it looks like things are so much worse than ever before mostly because there’s a thin layer of misogynist ick over pretty much everything thanks to social and interactive media (yay unmoderated comment sections! ….NOT). It used to just fester in the dark, and now it’s exposed for everyone to see. Sure, the poison will infect some people who were already at risk (like isidore’s brother), but we may have also taken a step toward cleaning it up and drying up the source?

Maybe? (pleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseplease)

Somehow that made me think of the monster baby from “It’s Alive”. The actual threat is probably more like the baby from “Eraserhead”.

Where does Roosh get this idea he’s achieved anything?

Roosh thinks that having a clean backside is a special task that one only undertakes to get laid. When you have standards that low, most ordinary activities of daily living are going to seem like grand accomplishments.

Maybe one reason driving the traffic to Roosh’s site is that he’s used as the “I’m not so bad comparison”, i.e. if you think I’m lazy/awful/have bad ideas, look at this guy.

Holy shit, these idiots think that the fact that people recoil from them in horror and disgust means they’re winning because people aren’t arguing back.

Tip: if your position is so vile that people won’t even discuss it with you because they refuse to even talk to you anymore, that doesn’t mean you won the argument.

I don’t know if anyone is interested but I found it ironic that someone I follow on Youtube posted this today as well since RooshV is the topic of both.

Strip away the typical breathless hyperbole, and I believe Roosh means “MRAs will be increasingly co-opted as useful idiots by the reactionary right.” In this, I suspect he is entirely correct.

That could be a Good Thing. The dudebro liberal types would be forced to abandon the movement.

MRA: “Don’t drink the kool-aid! Women need to be subjugated!”
Norm: “What?”
MRA: “Equality between the sexes is misandry. Men are superior! Biotruth!”
Norm: “That’s…”
MRA: “The purpose of women is our ejaculate! Colored hair is witchcraft!”
Norm: “You’re sick…”
MRA: “SJW cultural marxist fascist SJW mangina / white knight / feminazi!”
Norm: “I’m leaving now. Don’t follow me!”
MRA: “We is winning! Women will be slaves. Western civilization is saved!”
Norm: “Whatever…”

The womb envy is strong with this one.

Also…panicked? Panicked?
Disgusted? Yeppers.
Nauseated? Sure.
Concerned? Yes.
Pissed off? Absolutely.
Sort of sorry for the misogynist shitlords? A bit.
Panicked? Nope.

I wish Roosh and his buddies would just go away, preferably somewhere without Internet access. I doubt that they’ll ever change their ways, in life at least. Maybe after several decades/centuries/millennia in Purgatory Roosh and friends will finally learn about being decent kind, people.

I’ve never been so confused by a metaphor in my life. Something something baby, manosphere ideology causes nonstop vomiting, and Roosh’s biological clock seems to be ticking.

At any rate, I’m looking forward to the child support we’ll be receiving from the manosphere after the ideology-baby is born and we file for divorce and take full custody.

@Dan I kind of understand where you were coming from. Virginity itself isn’t the issue. It’s the fact that Roosh lacks even a passing familiarity with the basic mechanics of sex, reproduction, and biology, and yet he styles himself as a worldly sex expert. Ditto the fact that he clearly hates and is repelled by women, yet he makes a living off of passing himself off as the ultimate authority on what women want and how they think.

It’s not his inexperience that’s mockable, it’s the combination of being inexperienced, arrogantly self-deluded, and a charlatan. Is that what you were getting at?

Translation: “I spent all year jacking off on the Internet”. Yep, that sounds about right.

Roosh BaDouche, people do respond to you with logic and facts. You just can’t process it.

Where would their mob be getting breast milk, anyway? Even if women weren’t fleeing at first sight of them, they purposefully are trying to drive women away. Are they trying to rely on rare examples of male lactation? I don’t know if that’s very nutritious.

Why yes, I have no idea what that could possibly be a metaphor for. It’s the only metaphor for which he doesn’t immediately explain the connection.

Strange metaphors aside, did Roosh miss the part where upon having been ‘ejaculated onto’ by the MRA ideas, the maintream’s reaction was to *recoil in horror*? Between the Fappening and GamerGate and Elliot Rodger’s manifesto, misogyny has had a terrible PR year. Feminism has Emma Watson and Wil Weaton and dozens of other really cool people standing up for it.

What the fuck does Roosh think he has?

@chaltab:

What the fuck does Roosh think he has?

He thinks he has an army chomping at the bit, ready to rise up against the feminist overlords. In reality, it’s just the loudest of echo chambers.
