Off-topic: What are your favorite guilty pleasure videos on YouTube?

This is completely off-topic but I’m curious: What are your favorite guilty pleasure videos on YouTube? That is, videos that you might be embarrassed to admit you watch but that you compulsively watch anyway. Or, heck, maybe you’re not embarrassed at all. Kitten videos? Pimple popping videos? Russian car crash videos? News anchors screwing up? Dudes sitting in the bathtub yelling about 50 Shades of Grey?

Whatever it is, let me know.

I kind of have a little bit of an ulterior motive.

Emperortigerstar’s history videos might be a less than guilty pleasure but I can’t stop watching them:

The Vaults of Terra might be the nerdiest video series on the internet, it’s just a nice sounding British guy reading from the Warhammer40K wiki, and I consume enough related media that I probably don’t need to listen to him, but it has a certain appeal:

Though the only thing I really feel guilty about wasting my life on is pet collective:

At one point I did watch quite a lot of Minaj and the like, but I am over it now!

BTW – anyone see Black Mirror White Christmas? UK telly. Excellent bit on PUA, Charlie Brooker has not lost his touch.

Oh and one more thing: I’m subscribed to just about every zero-budget horror series on youtube. I was there from Marble Hornets’ second season to it’s less than thrilling climax, currently enjoying Keratingarden and WhisperedFaith.

There’s nothing I watch regularly, but there are a couple of categories that I seem to have an urge to indulge in excessively for a few days, maybe a week, at a time.

The usual assortment of kitties and other cuddlies/funnies.
Flash mob dancing. Started with this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQLCZOG202k Now I find if I watch one, I have to watch more.
Opera and other classical music.
A dozen or so favourite science related videos.

For some inexplicable reason, I detest cooking videos.

I watch and rewatch Dragon Ball Z Abridged. If someone I know walks up to me I’ll exit out of it really quickly.

Cats after anesthesia. I feel awful for laughing at this but I can’t stop.

I’ve watched them a million times.

Dancing. But I’m not guilty about it. I just can’t seem to stop. I dance and sing everywhere. In my car, grocery shopping, out for a walk, at work (home depot, as greeter, and any dept I’m in), with my cats, at the pool, while I eat. What I lack in talent, range or rhythm, I make up for in unrestrained enthusiasm.

LOL, the meowing one:

My friend and I try to make that noise, because that’s hilarious.

So much song a day and pentatonix.

And john williams is the man, but I already hit a different thread with that one.

That kitten is almost painfully adorable.

One video I can’t get enough of is the dubstep remix of lines from The Room

I also love watching old episodes of the amazing Canadian kids show Are You Afraid of the Dark?
The Tale of the Super Specs is my favorite

Wigs and pasta always go together.

Pretty much anything posted by the Memory Hole is worth watching.

Cats falling into bathtub videos, people freaking out by spiders, fail videos overall.

The mixing bowl just kills me. 😀

Well here’s where I out myself as a giant fucking dork, but I’m obsessed with videos of continual zooms into fractals. I found one of the Mandelbrot set that goes to like 10^-127.

Also, I’m inordinantly fond of old government psa’s, like some of the ridiculous shorts they used to have before the movie sometimes on MST3K.

I-
I like watching Miku Miku Dance (MMD) videos. Specifically ones with Attack on Titan/Shingeki no Kyojin character models.

I love “Egress to Oblivion”!!

And I totally forgot: I can watch supercuts or recuts of ads all the time, like this one of people in infomercials who literally cannot even:

So besides cat videos, I like watching craft how-to’s. I’m trying to learn how to quilt, so I watch videos like this:

Another thing I love is horror shorts by Drew Daywalt. Mockingbird is a great one.
