I’m watching Jesus Camp right now and it’s filling me with so much rage.
I have a horrible feeling my fridgefreezer needs to be replaced. Freezer seems fine, but fridge is becoming dubious.
First I found that the light was heating items stored just under it, but the rest of it was cold, with frost on he back wall. Now the temphas risen over all the fridge and the frost has melted 🙁
Damn, gilshalos. Is there any way to get a discount one somewhere near?
Could it be as simple as getting your door seal replaced?
It is old. I inherited it from my aunt about 15 years back, and it wasn’t new then, so I guess it has lasted as long as could be expected.
New fridge/freezer arriving tomorrow.
Parents bought it for me. I am so lucky.

I just got fired from my job. Now I’m unemployed again. Fuck. I’ll get unemployment and all, but without savings like I had last time, I’m still pretty fucked. I guess I’ll apply at some temp agencies for now. It’s my own fault I wasn’t looking for work before. I did kind of see this coming.
I don’t think I can even bring myself to tell my parents, but if I have to break my lease and move in with dad, I may not have a choice!
Most of the time I don’t mind being single, but it sure sucks not to have a partner with income to fall back on.
Okay, I’ll stop spamming now.

I was going to post about (OK, this means I am posting about) someone mentioning that the new freezer won’t work immediately, so all my freezer stuff will defrost. But that is mild compared to being fired 🙁

I applied for some positions at a temp agency. Hopefully I can land something quickly. Since it’s the holiday season retail is always an option but at the low pay rate, I’d probably have to work two jobs to stay in my apt. which would suck. Hopefully I can get something to tide me over.
Fingers crossed for you, WWTH. Can you sublet? I know most places can’t, but sometimes…
