The ritual posting of animated cat gifs brings an end to the Third Quarter We Hunted the Mammoth Pledge Drive.
Let me add my voice to the chorus of animated kitties: THANK YOU FOR YOUR DONATIONS, whether they were big or small! They enable me to keep this blog going and to afford shoes for my kitties. Well, not the part about the shoes. I’m not sure why I said that.
In any case, once again I’m humbled that so many of you all think this blog is important enough (or at least entertaining enough) to support with your donations.
And that so many of you contribute your time and your talents to help out as well, whether you’re volunteering as a mod or drawing hilarious pictures or leaving sharp and funny and knowledgeable comments.
If you meant to donate bug haven’t gotten around to it yet, here’s that link again. (And don’t worry that the PalPal page says “Man Boobz.”)
And of course you can donate any time you want using the button in the sidebar.
Some folks have suggested that I set up a Patreon account as well; I will be looking into that.
Thanks again!
Oh, and one more gif. No, I’m not trying to hypnotize you.
Ok, maybe I’m trying to hypnotize you a little.
Do you really love me this much, David?
Consider me hypnotized!
O_O
I’m seeing symbols in the static.
T. H. A. M, no, N. K. Thank!
M. 8? No, E. W. V… hang on…
…
Thank mew very mwuch. Daww. <3
Oh, there’s some stuff about tentacles and some old dude rising, but I’m sure it doesn’t matter.
Obviously your Furrinati overlords want shoes, and are using their mind powers on you.
Well, they can’t have my new shoes! To be fair, my current Furrinati overlord mostly ignores shoes in favor of towels and, for some odd reason, paper money.
marinerachel, yes I love as much as the distance between the wiggling paws of a kitten wearing a sideways, pulsating baseball cap with a butterfly on it and blinking.
I tried to donate yesterday but PayPal was refusing to cooperate. Fortunately, it seems to have gotten over it today. Thanks for all that you do!
Hypno kittehs are hypnotising.
::reaches for husband’s credit card::
I love you that much too, David.
Yay, kitty love 🙂
Consider this my promise to send you my usual when we get home. We’re in Italy and Paypal won’t let me log in. By the way, Italy really is all that. But we’ve been in six countries in two weeks (if you count a visit to the The Vatican and lunch in Austria), and I’m ready to come home.
I was trying to type out an articulate thing about how much I appreciate this blog, and what you do, David, and it came out kind of garbled and incoherent. So I’m sending it psychically, and I hope it makes it through.
Sorry I couldn’t contribute, I’m not in a good place financially at the moment.I’d like to make up for it though by giving some constructive criticism about this post. Those cats at the top of the post.I’m sorry but there’s just not enough of them.
My pleasure, David. I’m a huge fan of the blog, & just wish I could’ve afforded to donate more than just a tenner. I’ll fling some more dosh at the tipjar the next time I can afford to do so.
A little late, But i’ve donated
