katz- Thank you! I will check that out. I have a soft spot for Siamese kitties. I used to have the most awesome Siamese. I miss her everyday.
Just about every kitty the conversation turns to, or that I see on the interwebs – Siamese, marmies, black cats, tabbies – I think I WANT ONE OF THOSE. In reality I want all of them but I can’t have any, we can only have two at a time.

Kitteh, I throw a tantrum everyday because I’ve been without my own cat since high school. I’m almost there, though. Once me and my husband move out within the next or so I can finally have my cat. But everyday is an agonizing reminder that I am not subjugated by a furry overlord.
*next year or so- is what it should say.
HUGs for catlessness, redpoppy! That is major suckage. I hope you and husband can move to a suitable residence for a Furrinati or two, soonest.
At least I get to see all the little overlords across the veil at night, and see how thoroughly they have subjugated Mr K. Furrinati power works everywhere.
Kitteh, yes indeed it does. I hope to have two types of furry overlords. A very special kitty and a very special pug puppy. I like smooshed faced dogs because I’m ridiculous. Hehehe. I hope to integrate them well and have them be overlord BFFs.

So, I use craigslist as a place to vent my spleen and generally troll. It’s not a productive but the responses I get are really, REALLY funny. I recently asked on the women seeking women board whether lesbians are real because the only women positing there are explicit they’re in it for their boyfriend/husband and he will be participating because it’s not like they’re seeking a human being with needs; they need a prop to get their man off! Gross. And most of the responses I got were from women wanting to involve their male partners….
Anyways, I grumble about all KINDS of things on the women seeking men board because I know the dudeliest of bros will respond and hilarity will ensue. The other day my chief complaints were “Y U NO TELL ME U MARRIED” and “Actually telling girls you don’t want to see them again: a novel alternative to the silent treatment”. These have been my recent experiences with boys SO I was engaging in snark, finding humour, dealing with my frustration in a manner that brought me a little joy.
You guys are going to fucking love this paternalistic ‘splainy turd of a response:

I’d argue the first line is also ‘that’s Denmark’, from my experience. But that may be a distorted media picture, I don’t know too many Danes…

Blahlistic, from what I’ve read, some (emphasis *some*) Ukrainians saw the German invasion as a way to get out from under the USSR. The Holodomor had something to do with that. To a certain extent, all the European countries Germany invaded had local Fascist parties who worked with them, as well as Communist parties working against them. The NKVD worked very hard to find everyone in the first category after the war.
