I just posted this over on Confused Cats Against Feminism, but I want to share the good news here as well:
Wow!My kitties and I are humbled by the response this little blog is getting!
Scratch that bit about the kitties; they’re never humbled by anything.
But I am. Confused Cats Against Feminism has picked up more than 2000 followers in the two days since I announced the blog to the world, and my various inboxes are overflowing with dozens of pics of adorable cats who are very confused about feminism indeed.
So far Confused Cats has been featured on Buzzfeed — thanks, Rachel Zarrell! — The Frisky, and SFWeekly, and the cats and I are preparing for a major interview with an important publication in the cat world. Well, the cats are sleeping, mostly, but it is good to be well-rested.
This amazing response clearly shows that it is not only humans who can be really, really confused about feminism.
And if your cats (or any of your animal friends) are confused antifeminists, SEND MOAR PICS PLEASE! You can submit them here, or by emailing me at futrelle [at] manboobz.com.
Granted, I’m still sorting through all the pics I’ve gotten so far, but like cats I can always use more good things delivered to me. If your pic isn’t up yet, it may well be in the queue.
Oh, and if you like this blog, you might also like my other blog, We Hunted the Mammoth, a slightly less cat-centric look at confused antifeminists, Men’s Rights Activists, and misogyny in general on the internets.
Thanks!
David, Sweetie Pie, and Pantz
PS: If you see this blog mentioned in the media or on website you frequent, could you drop me a note with a link? Thanks!
Amazing! And keep those pics coming!
*Slightly* less cat-centric.
Tumblr is made of cats.
Wow! Who would’ve thought?
David and the kitties have gone viral! :O

Congratulations!
Count me as another follower! Sorry I don’t have a cat to add, though.
Congrats David (and cats!)
I saw several facebook friends link the tumblr- and I was all, Aw, David and his confused cats are famous! It is about time!
It’s all falling into place. First you make fun of the MRAs, then you get the kitties, then you get the power. Let the showering of bon bons commence!
I was pretty excited to see a cat-loving professor from my college mention Confused Cats Against Feminism on facebook.
Whoops, did I say David and his cats? I obvs meant the cats that call themselves David and the other cats.
Congrats, David! I went to announce this on a Tumblr I participate on (not the anti-feminist one!) and someone had beat me to it. it was an ingenious idea.
LOL, well, I may be a bit of an anti-fem, but the cats are adorable and they put some humor in the situation, so well done.
Awwwwwwwwww, cutest anti-feminists evah.
In case you didn’t see it when I posted on the other post, the tumblr got called “the strangest tumblr of the week” in Italian: http://www.meltybuzz.it/gatti-contro-il-femminismo-il-tumblr-confused-cats-against-feminist-a130370.html.
Hmm, I just emailed a submission (the poorly made unfunny one with yellow text) and didn’t actually include any info. I are genius. Anyway. The cat is called Biff and he lived a few doors down. His actual owners called him Poppins but thats clearly incorrect. We never fed him, he just used to let himself in for cuddles (and to talk about anti-feminism natch). I miss him. He was a bruiser.
I think you missed the ears on your black cat. Unless you’re supposed to just shower their heads these days.
Or maybe’s that’s just the look du-jour of mainstream femininity these days. Very hot-mess.
I can’t wait for my kitties to protest feminism! Go faster, queue!
and love the greasy fur, very Johnny Depp like.
bSpencer at Lawyers, Guns & Money linked to your confused cats Tumblr.
CONFUSE THE CAT!
How could this NOT go viral on the internet? It’s CATS!!!
More media mentions: Jezebel and, surprisingly, Cosmo. Did Cosmo become a feminist magazine when I wasn’t looking?
According to Cliff of Pervocracy, yes – Cosmo has become more feminist. It is good for the people who read it, sad for those of us who adore Cosmockings.
