If you’ve ever wondered what the carefree, unencumbered-by-women-and-their-cooties life of a true Man Going His Own Way looks like, you’re in luck, as the video above presents ACTUAL FOOTAGE of just this. Apparently, Going Your Own Way looks an awful lot like Hanging Around and Pestering, at least if you’re Vention1MGTOW, a YouTube videoblogger who regularly offers up little glimpses into his awesome life.
In the video above, our hero, in between fits of giggles, gleefully relates how he “trolled” a cutsey YouTube video showing a high school coach who’d gotten his team to help him propose to his girlfriend. Vention1MGTOW did his best to ruin the mood by posting “a few strategic comments” (that is, endless screeds) attacking marriage and women and, well, you know the drill. My favorite line from his comments, which he proudly reads aloud:
I’m sure some old wrinkled up, STD, ex-party party girl would love to move into my home and begin diverting my income for her own use but I don’t really see a benefit for me in that deal.
I hate to break it to you, dude, but I’m pretty sure even the most thoroughly wrinkled-up ex-party girl would rather die alone and unloved than have to put up with you. Hell, I’m pretty sure the only reason your dog (he has a dog) puts up with you is because he has no idea what you’re saying.
If you check out the coach’s video, you can see that a whole swarm of MGTOWers have descended upon the comments. Vention1MGTOW’s comments are actually some of the more polite from that bunch.
Vention1MGTOW – from his choice of snack (ramen noodles) to his, er, casual sense of interior decoration – seems like such a perfect embodiment of MGTOWer stereotypes that it’s hard to believe he’s for real. But he is. He’s got 82 videos up on his YouTube channel detailing his various obsessions: MGTOW, Bitcoins, hugelkultur gardening, doomsday prepping. Oh, and he’s got a Segway.

Oh yeah, that handgun on the desk. When I’m not in college, I live in some hardcore NRA type town where I’m pretty sure more people own guns than centralized heating systems, but even then, they know that leaving a handgun on a desk is really irresponsible.

What was that about men going their own way? Something about cutting women out of their life? Why is he commenting on videos of women? Shouldn’t he be like, I don’t know, doing “manly” stuff like being a lumberjack and drinking beer in the woods?

But if it isn’t out on the desk, how can he get it on camera for all his fellow bitter manchildren see? It’s not like he could put it in the safe behind him. He needs to broadcast how macho he is while he desperately tries to ruin the happiness of people he doesn’t like to see enjoying their lives. Besides that, who is going to protect his pizza from grizzly bears and sneaky pizza-hungry women over 30 if he doesn’t?

Wow. An unattractive middle aged man* with nothing better to do than troll Youtube thinks he has any place mocking the appearance and ages of strange women? How shocking and original. Women are supposed to weep over this fucknut removing himself from the dating scene? No loser. We’re relieved.
*Typically I consider it bad form to mock a person’s physical appearance. However, he opens himself up to it by mocking others on that basis. This makes me feel completely comfortable pointing out that he’s balding, his mustache is creepy and he looks like Milton from Office Space.

I think Heath Ledger watched this guy’s videos when he was figuring out how to play the Joker. His giggling is really . . . disturbing.
I don’t really feel great about joking about some guy’s personal life, even if he is a prick and he’s advertising it. But even so, wow. Wonder if he’s off his meds or something.
Just tried to watch the Enya video. He’s too creepy for me to actually sit the whole thing.
What strikes me is, he’s describing the whole “women hit the hall at 35 and become useless, ugly, shriveled up hags that no one could possibly love” bullshit, and he’s laughing about it. Now, the “wall” thing is complete and utter bullshit, but he apparently believes in it and apparently thinks it something horrible that women go through. And he thinks women going through this horrible thing is really, really funny.
What does that say about a person, that the thought of other people going through something horrible is really funny?
Plus, Papa John’s? This dude has horrible taste in pizza.
