I found a movie some Manboobzers might appreciate. It’s called Babakiueria, and it’s a satirical look at Australia’s treatment of its indigenous peoples – but you could easily swap out Australia/Aborigines for the US/Native Americans and get basically the same story, and I’m sure the same is true elsewhere. It’s about half an hour long.

Wow. Stopped watching that halfway through, but it definitely does illustrate how bass-ackward the whole situation is. There’s my thing to ponder on for the night.

LBT: damn work, I can’t shove everyone else out of the way so I can thrust my NZ dollars at you, which you *know* look like real money, unlike Australian dollars (monopoly money) and US dollars (have you guys hear of 2-bit colour let alone 16-bit or 256-bit???) 🙂
Please do a link to your website so I can give you cash too. Or do I just clicky your acronym?

And I am just awed at the artistic talent here on manboobz.
my family has that onion chopper. I think it worked okay on some things, but then we got lazy and put cooked ham in it. Definitely not good. XD it didn’t break it, but it did mush up the ham and we had to clean it out.
Kiwi girl – ha, you want a real laugh? A USian customer who said they couldn’t tell one denomination from another in our money. IT’S DIFFERENT COLOURS AND SIZES HOW DIFFICULT IS THAT ::head explodes::

@kittehs
yay for glasses! 😀
and, i’m having a small moment of panic. I got put on trazodone to help me sleep, but I’m getting lots of the side effects that they say you should talk to a doctor for, and I don’t know whether it’s something I need to do asap, or, like, not at 1 in the night.
Main side effect is breathing is being weird/ hard. Idk. Do any of you guys have advice?
(and sorry I’m taking up so much of this thread :/ Both good and bad shit has been happening around me a lot recently).

Yeah. I had one weak moment where I thought it would do a great job cutting tiny cheese cubes. Fortunately I had time to rethink and abandon this ill-begotten “plan” for producing cheese flavoured sludge before I put the two items together.
Is there an emergency department number or 911 with ambulance/medical number you can call, Marie? You do need to get advice straight away if the warnings on the meds aren’t clear, especially if you’re having breathing trouble. That’s not something to wait for.

Oh sweet, it’s always good being able to see properly. 🙂 I need to book an optometrist for an annual checkup and to discuss the potential to get contact lenses /crossed fingers.
And hmm… that comment from the American was just weird. I find *their* money strange, like when I wonder why I have been given back so much change. Because I have only been there a few times and not for long each time, I have to read the denomination so I don’t embarrass either myself or the retail person. Why can’t eft-pos just be cross-country now, like ATMs are?
Marie, exactly what changes are happening to your breathing?
The general advice I’m seeing about trazodone is to call your doctor immediately if you have breathing difficulties with it.
Kiwi girl – yeah, the new scrip’s way different in the close-up range! I wasn’t using the reading part in my old glasses any more; my eyes had changed that much in two years. (Aged and decrepit eyes, waaaah.)
Yeah, I find US money hard to work around – the coins are the opposite of ours in what’s bigger/smaller and the bills are so similar. We were looking at some at work today and it looked like ours would after it’d been through the wash a hundred times.
I sniggered at your 2-bit colour scheme comment, btw.
Just looking at some pics of NZ cash, never seen it before. Pretty! Not as garish as ours.

Not to be alarmist, and it could be other stuff too, but only a doctor can diagnose the problem.
Good grief, my comment went into moderation – what on earth triggered that in a conversation about breathing, the colour of money and glasses?
Oh, wait, it was writing the other spelling of snickered. ::sigh:: … I know that word has to be in the mod filter because racists, but it is annoying not being able to write the way I actually laugh. 😛

I really like the way these ones look, though. First time I’ve ever thought I photographed halfway decently with specs on.

I’m trying to talk my mom into taking me to the emergency room right now, but she seems reluctant to go. idk I’m just kinda panicy. you guys are awesome.
I’m picturing one kitty playfully unraveling the knitting of the other kitty. XD
Me too!

Apparently 1 in 20 people prescribed the drug get shortness of breath, if that’s your issue, see http://www.ehealthme.com/ds/trazodone+hydrochloride/shortness+of+breath
@kiwi girl
Checking that link now. thanks.
exact changes: throat itchy + tight, breathing hard. Idk how to clarify. Like, I can’t breathe in right, if that makes sense.
@kittehs
I’m trying to find out from my mom right now.
Marie, that could be an allergic reaction, get help now.

Strewth, that was the shortest ever mod queue. Sorry about the double post!
Me too. But mine are not discreet like yours. Mrmagnificent calls them my commie glasses – looking at the world through RED-framed lenses.
The colour in the piccie is not exact, they’re really a dark raspberry red. Not bright enough for scarlet, not deep enough for maroon. http://www.gavaoptic.com/product_info.php?pName=gafas-de-graduado-just-cavalli-jc521071&cName=just-cavalli-jc521&osCsid=
Thanks for the advice guys.

Those are cool! I see what you mean, there’s almost a cranberry tint to them on my computer.
Reluctant? For crying out aloud, you’re having breathing trouble.
Is there an advice line you can call, at least, to talk to a nurse?
@kittehs
yeah, I’m super pissed at her.
I tried a talk line but it didn’t go through 🙁
Holy crap, those are superhero glasses!
