I’ve learned a lot about myself in the process of writing this blog. For example, this week, I learned that I’m a “vile, subhuman thing” who “like licking sh*t of feminist’s shoes” and “just wants every man cuckolded.” Also, I have some interesting and specific tastes in porn that even I was unaware of.
I learned all of these things from the always reliable purveyors of accurate and unbiased information in the Men’s Rights subreddit, in a thread ostensibly devoted to my coverage of the recent events in Toronto, but which ended up being more devoted to my various alleged failings and my alleged preferences in the porn realm.
Let’s take a look!
Here’s a man who is evidently also a pig suggesting that I am a man who is also a slug:

Evidently Alisdair isn’t one of those who actually clicked on the link to my post in the thread, because he apparently believes that my post was a do-it-yourself guide to cuckolding other men, or perhaps a guide to getting cuckolded. I’m not sure..
And then there’s JayBopara, a MHRA warrior who seems a bit obsessed with what he for some reason believes are my preferences, porn-wise:

1) Where exactly is he allegedly reading about my alleged preferences in porn? The MakeStuffUpAboutDavidFutrelleWiki?
2) What on earth is “mangina porn,” anyway?

Also, despite the similarities in the first three letters of the words, and the involvement of women in each, there is no real connection between “feminism” and “femdom.” One is a social and political movement; the other is a kink.
Anyway, this is how the HUMAN RIGHTS MOVEMENT FOR MEN AND BOYS OF THE 21ST CENTURY deals with its critics.
Well, its male critics anyway. It treats its female critics much, much worse.
I also like the way JayBopara judges which porn is about sex and which isn’t. Men debasing and dominating women, like in the huge majority of porn, is sex. But women debasing and dominating men isn’t sex at all, but something monstrous that lies outside of sex.

This might be one of those Feminist Ad Hom(me)inems (TM), but whenever I see or hear some dude use the word “Mangina” it is immediately clear that he is a “Fucking Loser”.
I thought “mangina” was a diminutive for “manga”, which in turn is a feminine for “mango”.
Turns out it’s a person who attacks new Internet threads and annoyingly hogs the first comment just to shout “Women first!”
Athywren – It’s more a “titles that people give the porn that I can access easily and for free online” thing than a “titles of porn productions that are sold on dvd or whatever” thing. Like, every video is titled something about bitches, or sluts, or whores, or worse, and, well… it’s just very dehumanizing.
To say nothing of all the size 8 women who are called fat or chubby or whatever, in a way that frames them as disgusting and/or fetish fodder. As a rather larger woman, it’s just kind of painful to look through every time I want to watch some people boning.

I have the same problem with porn. It’s almost impossible to get away from that language entirely. I have heard legends of porn that isn’t like that, but I have no idea where to find it or if it really exists. It’s like Atlantis.

That’s a fair point there… it’s been a while since I paid much attention to any of the easily-discovered porns and I totally failed to remember all the “cumslut whore” bullshit and its cousins. Last time I paid attention to the easily found stuff… let’s just say I feel very, very bad for having seen it. I, too, hope for the rise of Pornatlantis… I mean it’s much sexier and more fun to watch when it’s people who actually want to be there and aren’t being treated like meat anyway, so I don’t understand why there isn’t already some kind of public outcry for it… I guess because getting rid of the misogyny means the women enjoy themselves, which is misandry or something.
