More Amazing MisogynArtistry from deviantART

effcts_of_feminism_by_alexlartwork22-d5ft932

Here — above and below — are a couple of amazing works of Men’s Rightsy propaganda I missed in my survey of deviantART yesterday, both from a fellow calling himself alexlartwork22. And, yes, they both seem to be meant completely seriously.

you can lose a lot of money chasing women but you'll never lose women chasing money

Thanks, Tulgey Logger and Cloudiah for finding these!  Is anyone else reminded of Chick Tracts here? The crude drawing, the melodrama, the excessive word balloons?

My post yesterday inspired (or at least provided the excuse for) rather a lot of comments, many of them rebutting a Men’s Rightsy fellow calling himself Good. Below, a graphic from Katz memorializing one of Good’s more, er, memorable pronouncements.

If men dominate the world, why is that the case when men and women are equal in numbers?

Well your robot analogy made me lol! Mine looks like it was painted with the world’s cheapest nailpolish.

The new one does have a nice pinky-purple undertone in daylight. But why they no have the rose colour, whyyyyyy.

Being black and having spent a lot of time with people who support the black power movement, I am not at all surprised by the mysogony of Alex L. Most black nationalists, that I’ve run into at least, believe some variation on the idea that black men need to, “control our women” and very strongly believe in gender roles that place the man above the woman. Recently, the mysogony has gotten so strong that there are some people, namely Tommy Sotomayor, who blame all of the problems in the black community on black women.

It is a sad situation, but was perhaps inevitable, given the way the black power movement focused so heavily on black male power and so little on black women.

Cripes. Walter, is he giving racism a free pass? (Apologies, I’m Australian and know little-to-nothing about the black power movement.)

That sounds fun, in theory 😛 I bet it involves math though. Does it?

Umm… arguably no. I don’t consciously use any math, but I’m a physics student so I probably have some subconscious awareness of power/weight ratios. It’s mostly visual and trial and error though – you can work out where to put maneuvering thrusters by clicking a button that shows the centre of mass and putting them in two groups of four (one on each side) at equal distances from that centre. The hardest part is making sure you’ve got enough thrust to lift your rocket, but that’s trial and error – if it won’t go, give it more and bigger engines… it might not necessarily be scientific, but it’s definitely how the Kerbals would do it. (This is the product description for a small solid fuel rocket – “While considered by some to be little more than “a trash bin full o’ boom”, the RT-10 is used in many space programs, whenever the need to save cash is greater than the need to keep astronauts alive.” These guys aren’t about subtlety.)

also, ::offers aspiring author high five::

Spapp! (That’s… uh… a high five sound.) I’m currently working on a very silly super hero novel. I won’t go into details for paranoid reasons, but it’s ridiculously funny in my mind. Think Adam West Batman & Dirk Gently… except different.
(And that’s why I didn’t go into marketing.)

In that first comic, I love how the feminists are all dressed in heels and spreading their legs and arching their backs as they assault the Patriarchy with phallic jackhammers. Totes realistic depiction.

The punchline seems to be “Yay, now we can drop the pretense of being nice to women and be assholes!”

I’d take equal pay and professional respect over flowers and candy any day. Seems like a good deal to me.

It probably is after Good’s bedtime, he was getting stroppy. Being that stupid must be exhausting.

Whoops. Guess being wrong is inevitable in making guesses about things I know nothing about 😛

That does sound fun 😀 I’ve got a couple different ideas but none I’ve gotten terribly far on, so kinda a writer-failure thing. I wrote more in middle-highschool before my depression flared up, and I need to get back on track. /rambles.

certainly says a lot about the artist, imo :/

I’m wary of assaulting the Patriarchy with phallic jackhammers. The master’s tools will never destroy the master’s house, after all…

“YOU’LL CATCH MORE GOOD FISH (MEN) WITH NATURAL BAIT THAN YOU WILL CATCH BAD FISH (MEN) WITH UNATURAL BAIT”

So, as is not news, I have a puffer fish. Turns out little dude is a green spotted puffer — aggressive, fond of live food. In theory. In practice frozen brine shrimp are like candy to a four year old.

Point here is that aggressive fish (men) can be easily trained to take “unnatural” bait.

Um…no that’s not it!

Point here is that with rare exceptions, even aggressive carnivores will go for altered food. (Reminds me, I need to get my shrimpery set up, I’m gonna breed him his candy!)

Pecunium! Games! I restarted as a female Tremere instead of playing the male you ended up as, cuz I just did a male Tremere and want something else to look at (also, I wanna seduce Romero and he’s straight)

I notice that the ‘unnatural’ woman in his comic has straight blonde hair, but appearing to have the same skin colour as the ‘natural’ woman with the afro. So I’m guessing it’s not just about women being fake, but about them betraying their race as well. I wonder how he feels about black men shaving patterns into their hair.

I’m all for women believing that how they are naturally is just fine, and it’d be better if PoC didn’t feel pressured by society to appear more white, but dictating to women about what they are allowed to do with their own bodies and hair is just wrong.

It’s like he has a kernal of a good idea in his comics, but has applied them in wildly terrible ways.

One thing I learned from Neil Gaiman (a talk he gave… not like a personal conversation or anything) is to procrastinate productively. Engage in a little world building, play an RPG and take notes around what’s happening, read a book and take inspiration from its themes. I’m still getting the hang of it, but it’s very helpful. Once, while I was busily refusing to write anything, I designed a database to keep details on characters, their alignments, and rough storylines. As an entirely unrelated note, I HATE queries on the open office database program.

Do you mean Kerbal Space Program? It’s freestanding, though there might be online content when it’s fully released… I dunnoes. (It’s still technically in beta at the moment, I have it as early access on steam.)

I do thinking and note taking fine, it’s just writing and (more importantly for me :P) staying in the habit of writing so I don’t get out of practice I fail.

That sounds cool and handy 🙂

Hi y’all,

As I was procrastinating reading stuff on the Internet about workout routines, mating strategies for men and how women are all heartless bitches, I stumbled across this, a post written by a successful self published writer who happens to be also a curvy and confident young woman, about how she decided to insult and threaten the job of someone who’d the audacity to politely reject her.
As you can expect, this post has hurt some dudebros’ jimmies and, very soon, the offended guys managed to gather an army and took retaliation measures in the form of a cyber-invasion of her post’s comments section where we can now see them insulting her, offering weight loss advices and expressing some death-wishes.

We need now a beautiful manboob’s post coming to the defense of this endangered lady, wishing to all internet brolands’ dwellers a lonely and sexless miserable life and demonstrating that Internet trolling is a evidence of patriarchy and the circle will be full. The circle need to be full. Thank you.

Brz, are you capable of understanding what to most other people are some very simple concepts?
* It is wrong to go nuclear when rejected, threatening another person’s existence or livelihood.
* It is also wrong to threaten people with death or rape.

Seriously, this is kindergarten level stuff for most people.
