Today, some farm fresh misogyny, straight from the virtual pages of MGTOWforums.com, in the form of a sprawling rant on the blackhearted nature of the female of the species by a fellow known only as Hamish. I have taken the liberty of condensing the rant somewhat, and of breaking up Hamish’s walls of text into shorter paragraphs. The original director’s cut of his comment can be found here.

With women being so irrational, so utterly unreasonable and unrealistic in their demands, it is absolutely inevitable that … there will come a point where she will feel dissatisfied with her date/her fuck buddy/her boyfriend/her fiance/her husband, whatever. And remember what a women feels is her hamster, logic doesn’t get a look in.
For men morality is largely a logical, learned thing – ten commandments, thou shalt not steal/kill, whatever. But for a woman what she feels is the be all and end all … And if that means fucking over and grinding into the dust good, decent men … purely on account that she no longer feels entirely satisfied with him, then so be it – how she feels must prevail above all other factors. …

This explains why it’s always the nicest guys that women fuck over the worst – and why they take great pleasure in doing so and in twisting the knife. To onlooking men this kind of stuff looks like a horrible, unjustifiable act of black hearted pitilessness – but to women, it’s nothing … .
This illogical thinking and intrinsic fickleness on the part of women winds up in women becoming capricious, merciless tyrants. But of course to be tyrants women have to have power – sure they always had the power of the pussy, but much more sinisterly women are now armed to the teeth and dangerous – armed by the law/the state that is …
Women have the state/big government backing them up to the hilt at every turn – to the extent that women now have the power at their fingertips to destroy or at least seriously mess up/disrupt the life of any man they’re sexually involved with – and … many women … can’t … resist abusing this power. And not only to mess up men’s lives and defame their character … but of course to loot men too – often of their entire net worth.
The madness of all this is that the state has placed all this power in the hands of beings who are intrinsically fickle and capricious by nature. So having been armed by the state, women are now not only fickle and capricious, worse than that they have now upgraded to fickle and capricious tyrants, who have a licence from the state to ruin men’s lives on a whim.
Having been so armed by the state, women are now akin to the capricious psychopath boss at work, who fires people just because he’s in a bad mood, or the capricious psychopath dictator, who has citizens locked up or killed on a whim.
In the case of the psycho boss or the dictator, they behave in this manner because (1) they have the power to do it (2) they can do it without any comeback to them and (3) they get off on it.
And this is exactly the dynamics involved when women fuck over men – women fuck over men because they have the power to do it (or more accurately the state has bestowed that power on them), they can do it without any comeback to them or negative consequences for them and they also do it because they just damned well get a sadistic kick from doing do.
So yes, underneath those physically appealing pretty girls (and indeed in many less physically appealing girls too) does indeed lurk an evil monster – one that is armed, dangerous, and utterly pitiless.
And … scene!
The truly weird thing about this rant is that, as some Man Boobz old timers may recall, the Hamish who wrote this rant is not the first MGTOW named Hamish I’ve written about on this blog. But the last one wasn’t actually real: he was a character who appeared, in cartoon form, in the dreams of a Man Boobz reader. As she wrote in an email to me,
after a day of reading a particularly large amount of your posts, I had a strange dream about this guy who sits on a train and describes some STDs he caught in great (and terrifying) detail to whoever is silly enough to listen. His goal is to dissuade other men from making the same mistake he did — having sex with women. Because to “Hamish the Lover” … all women are dirty and evil and should be avoided at all costs.
Now this mysterious dream lover Hamish has a namesake on MGTOWforums.com, writing long rants on how … all women are evil and should be avoided at all costs.
Kind of creepy, eh?

Swearing to ‘go your own way’ and then obsessing over the actions of ‘those physically appealing pretty girls’ is pure logic?
I’m not sure I understand, maybe if he used the words fickle and capricious a dozen more times.

I’m so glad men don’t have “feelings” and that all our actions are determined by logic and rational analysis of the likely consequences.
I would bet money that Hamish sees himself as a nice guy.
How very…odd. If we’re so evil and destructive it’s a mystery as to how so many of us manage to in happy, peaceful, reciprocal relationships with partners and husbands. My parents have just had their sixtieth wedding anniversary and it’s amazing that my father would have sought my mother’s company for so many years if she was really the harpy Hamish obviously believes she must be. Nahhhh, Dad’s way too smart for that. The judicious application of Occam’s razor would suggest that poor Hamish is suffering from delusions.
I also find it amusing that so many MRAs consider themselves to be driven by logic, discipline and reason and yet claim to be unable to control their base sexual urges around women, and then claim that we’re the ones driven by our feelings and the nefarious urgings of our id!
You know, despite my silly pink lady brains, I got a perfect score on the logic section of my GREs (which last time I checked is a test written by men for men.) Not a good score, a perfect one, but these boneheads think they’re more logical. The mind, it baffles.

I remember, a couple years ago, I would get into arguments with my neighbor. After I had thoroughly slashed his more ridiculous ideas to shreds, by pointing out his flawed reasoning and false premises, he accused me of thinking “like a man”.
I felt amused and insulted at the same time. My ladybrains seem to be able to handle two conflicting emotions.
Which is why they logically want a woman who can cook, clean, raise babies, have sex with any guy, remain a virgin, aged 18, not work, survive on air, and I am sure I missed one or two.

Chie Satonaka that’s the weirdest thing I find about Patriarchal ideas about men.
They are simultaneously the most intelligent, logical, reasonable and practical gender and cannot prevent themselves from attacking or harassing women who they find sexually attractive.
Logical and rational, the latter is not.
This reads like any standard conspiracy rant against a specific ‘oppressive’ and ‘evil’ group, complete with explaining how every member of the group is the same, how the group undermines society, how overpowered they have become, etc. etc.

His views of men are pretty one dimensional as well. His assumption here us that each of these ten people have only a single attribute.
You know, if morality is purely a logical and learned thing to you, you’re probably a psychopath. (I’m using the word literally, not as a synonym for “bad person” or anything.) Now, I’m not saying that Hamish is a psychopath… he probably just wrote that morality is a logical and learned thing to men because he thinks that makes men seem more rational. But seriously; psychopaths can’t really grasp morality the way most people do. They can learn that this or that is considered a moral norm by society (learn the ten commandments and learn that people approve of them, to use Hamish’s own example), and for most of them it stays there. I do know a person with psychopathy diagnosis who’s very intelligent and curious, and has spent lots of time thinking about moral matters, and do have a sort of moral system of zir own which is in parts fairly original but is totally recognizable as a real moral system. But it’s something zie’s figured out intellectually; the kind of instinctive grasp on basic moral matters that regular people have is something psychopaths tend to lack (or perhaps always lack; I’m not quite certain whether this is a necessary part of the diagnosis or just something that usually accompanies it).
Now, obviously someone who’s the way Hamish claims all women are – someone who thinks that everything that gives zir momentarily positive feelings is morally right and the other way around – is hardly a very moral person either. That person would also have failed to grasp morality, although in a different way from the psychopath. Still, it’s funny how completely he fails to paint men in a good light in his writings.
Yeah, this line jumped out at me. Rote-memorized legal codes are the exact opposite of a morality derived from logic. The Ten Commandments (regardless of which Biblical set of 10 you actually opt to use) are a set of rules meant solely to reinforce the current social order of their time, and have little if anything to do with ‘morality’ or personal conscience; the overlap between the 10C and most attempts to derive a logically coherent ethical framework is pretty much pure coincidence.
Well, it’s as countless people have said several times before, my Manboobzians friends. Women are all about intuitive understanding and applied thinking, while men are much, much better at memorizing and learning by rote, because they’re so much better at just reading and taking in large amounts of information and then repeating it back to the teacher. It has to do with the way the male brain is just no good at irrational, lateral jumps in logic, but proceeds from point A to B in an organized manner.
Or… wait, no. I… was it the other way around? I..it’s Tueday today, so that must mean men must be rational, but it’s an even week so my Stereotype Calendar tells me that that’s “Men are powerful, but controlled by irrational, emotional forces”… So they can’t memorize… and… my… my head hurts. Nothing makes sense any more.

The only thing that could possibly drive a man to call pretty girls evil is the fact that he has continuously been rejected by them. So emotional. So irrational.
