A douchebag’s lament: Pickup Artists have failed to tame the Wild American Bitch

Apparently these women defeated the Pickup Artists. Three cheers for them!
Evil women celebrating the defeat of the Pickup Artists

Well, it’s time for a little celebration, I guess. Because I’ve just received word — straight from the Manosphere itself — that feminism has defeated Pickup Artistry in the battle for control of America.

That, at least, is the message of a blog post from our old acquaintance Firepower. On his Eradica blog, he writes sadly that “[d]espite 15 years [of PUA] Feminism still rules America – NOT men. Certainly not puas.” The problem, to poor feminism-hating Firepower?

PUA didn’t make guys “men,” it made them better dudes.  It didn’t make them smarter – it made them dumber. Such blundering strategy is not Mastery, it is Foolery; especially in a country now based on, legislated and totally ruled by females – or call this state mentality, feminine values. …

Despite PUA being a potent strategy practiced since 2000, nothing has changed.  Those many tactics to tame The Wild American Bitch failed.

In fact, Firepower argues, these Wild Bitches are ever Wilder and Bitchier than they were before Game came along.

Females – girls especially – are far worse behaved now, after “the Game Era” than they were before.

Females today, are even louder, nastier, cuntier and more tattooed.  Game was supposed to give men the upper hand.   The last time I went to “the club,” women are still the loudest, drunkest, rudest, most profane entitled Princesses Of The Universe.  It is they who became Real Men by asserting their masculine qualities of dominance, power and intimidation – not boys.  Males just smile sweetly, simper – and wipe their girl’s puke hair.

Apparently I have had something to do with all this, although I haven’t been able to figure out enough of this paragraph to understand exactly what it is I’ve done:

The extreme is evidenced in the psycho Amanda Marcotte/Manboobs FFOL wing/falange and is why I find NF such a structural part of FFOL.  Game and pua gave the deactivated, unemployed big-mouthed fatties in storage something new to fight.  It is their resurrection:  Instead of marching in parades, they march as effective Courtroom/Legal System/Government leaders.  They have no need of combat, to write picket signs and post online when they now post statutes and write law.

From earlier in the post, and by checking Firepower’s little blog glossary, I’ve been able to determine that NF is short for “Neo Feminism” and FFOL for “Five-Fingered Fist of Liberalism.” Not that this really helps clear things up much.

Also, I’m not quite sure why Firepower has picked two bloggers to be representative of some “falange” that doesn’t need to post online because it can just write laws. Or why a white dude like myself is supposed to be involved with something (the “FFOL”) that Firepower thinks is a “United Front eradicating white males.”

In the end, Firepower declares that everyone is stupid, so fuck them.

[T]he females are indeed, completely corrupted – but so are the boys.  Both classes are stupid and unworthy because they are Murkans.  No great leaders or movements are born out of slop.

Speaking of slop, the comments to Firepower’s post are a virtual cesspool not only of misogyny but of virulent racism and homophobia as well. Oh, and some old-fashioned anti-Semitism to boot. If you venture into them, prepare for every sort of slur there is, as well as for an extended discussion of whether or not PUA has made men more “faggoty.”

This is what the “White Nationalist” wing of the Manosphere sounds like when it talks amongst itself.

EDIT: Fixed a word in the penultimate graf. Should have been “virulent racism,” obviously, and it now iw.

I take it this guy blames those ridiculous “Girls Gone Wild” videos on feminism?

If he’s supposed to be insulting us, why does he make us sound like fatty mechabots that have been sleeping for hundreds of years… only to awaken to tip the scales of a new battle?! *waves plasma cannon arms around joyfully*

Oh noes! Not more tattooed! ;_;

I don’t get what the issue is with tattoos on women… It seems like such a nonsensical thing to be upset about. Especially since they think women should be dressed to the nines, wearing makeup and high heels…

Aha! My tattoos are tattoos OF LIBERATION! And after the g0ys, I feel deep pride in being faggoty.

Also, does Five-Fingered-Fist of Liberation sound like a sexual act to anyone else? That or a move in some shounen anime where the characters HAVE to spout off about whatever they’re doing.

Let me guess, you saw Pacific Rim?

“Cuntier” is a fun, new word.

A manosphere manifesto would be nice. Are these fellas looking to get some action or to put men and women back into traditional gender roles? It seems like they are all dissatisfied and no of them really knows what they want. Some PUAs seem to be strictly interested in sex and the ways to obtain it at any cost, others attempt to use manipulative strategies to keep a romantic relationship, others seem to want to “go back to the good ol’ days.”

RE: SittieKitty

I don’t get it either. Obviously I’m not a woman, but I still got a surprising amount of resistance when I got tattooed. Our parents seemed to think that I was some insane influence, spurring their innocent daughter to get random tattoos without thinking, rather than that some folks here (including me) had wanted one for years. Our father later used my tattoos as evidence that I shouldn’t transition, because they were femmey. (I’ve got a phoenix on one shoulder, and a turtledove on the other. I can’t be the only one who sees FFOL and thinks of this video, can I?

So… feminists are the Jaegers and PUAs are the kaiju?

And PUA has only been practiced since 2000? Bullshit! I’ve seen ads for How To Pick Up Women in magazines from the 70s.

Yeah, that’s why states have passed literally THOUSANDS of anti-choice legislation attacking not just abortion, but contraceptives and women’s health centers. Fuck you very much, you piece of shit.

Imma get you a leather jacket with BORN TO READ done in spikes on the back.

I’m not going to get a tattoo (promises, promises … ) but I got no problem with tats in general.

Sometimes I see one that’s stupid, or pretentious, or something. A young man at the local pool this weekend had what I thought was a Death Star tattooed on his upper arm, but it turned out to be a yin-yang done in blue and slightly darker blue, with additional dots under each main dot. It was hard to read, is my point, which I think kind of defeats the purpose, doesn’t it?

Why Why Why did I follow the link to that post, and WHY did I keep reading?

I feel kind of sick. How can people be so filled with hate?

The whole tattoo thing baffles me, especially since anthropological evidence for tattooing on people of all genders goes back literally thousands of years. And I get that until recently American people of a certain class/ socioeconomic status did not get tattooed, but that’s no longer the case and there’s nothing wrong with that.

In other news, the state nearly threw my deadbeat ex-SIL in jail yesterday for non-payment of child support (she hasn’t given my brother a nickel). My brother doesn’t want that — it won’t get him the support he needs to raise their children. So he asked them not to.

So there goes that bullshit MRA meme that “the State” is always on the woman’s side. “The State” has a vested interest in making sure that non-custodial parents, regardless of gender, pay for their kids, because there isn’t enough social services funding to go around.

Ah! The historical unhinged power of unemployed people writing laws! I better get to it and quit my work to write more laws.

Those sound awesome LBT! I have a few tattoos and I’ve had a number of people comment on how I shouldn’t because I’m a “woman” (I don’t bother correcting them, it’s a pain). And then, the most tattooed person I know personally is my aunt, and she gets them because they make her feel stronger – an idea I loved and she’s one of the few people who supported me in doing it. She has a dragon on her arm and she says every time she looks in the mirror and sees it she feels like she can take on the world. Actually, thinking about it, I prolly know more women who have tattoos then men… and all of the tattoos are awesome and have personal meaning. All of mine have personal meaning, and would pretty much mean nothing to anyone else if they got them. I feel like many people think people get permanent ink on their bodies as some sort of frivolous thing, not really thinking about it or anything.

This train of thought brought to you by a kitty…

Now I totally want to get my tattoo soon.

Sadly, I don’t like clubbing much. I’d love to upset PUA’s by being a “a wild german bitch” (though I’d rather be a wild pokemon, ambushing Puas out of the high grass!). I doubt misogynists of this sort like european women any more than american women.

Ah well, I’m still too scared of long lasting contact with needles to get tattooed. 🙁

Listening to people like you give back my faith in humanity. Seriously. All this hijab-niqab problem many Westerners have, to the point they are just being plain intolerant and quite ridiculous, makes me not only angry, but very uncomfortable.
and you are right! Most people who are bothered by that are not connected to women’s freedom at all, they just want to control others. Specially ones they do not understand (and don’t even bother to).

Not to mention I have several Muslim friends who cover and choose to do so. In fact, the husband of one of them told her he would rather she does not veil so people would not harass her. She told him that veiling (she covers the head only) was very important to her, so he respected that.

Actually Puas totally fit as enemy pokemon trainers. Those always say weird stuff anyway and can’t be skipped fast enough.

Pick up artist douchebag challenges you to a fight! “My words make all the ladies swoon, you can never beat me, little girl *neg*”.

Mens right activist challenges you to a fight! “Girls shouldn’t have the right to be a pokemon trainer! I’ll show you uptight entitled pokemon-princesses!”

Boring as they are, and as useless and repetive as their arguments, they probably just all carry six magikarps and then can’t believe they lost.

Also, and I feel like this needs pointing out, people in general at certain kinds of clubs are just drunken assholes anyway. Maybe if this guy does not like the way that women at “the club” behave, he should try talking to women at the millions of other places that women are. Like the library! Or at work! Or at knitting club! Or at softball!

… then again, maybe it’s better that he stick to the club, and keep the asshatish-ness contained.

Females today, are even louder, nastier, cuntier and more tattooed.

Welp, time to go get another tat!!

I credit a sexist male coworker I used to have for the gumption to get my first one. One day he kept going on and on and on about how unattractive women with tattoos were, how trashy, etc. I told him that humans have been tattooing themselves and practicing body modifications for a very long time and how ancient mummies have been unearthed that show tattooing, piercing and other BM practices.

“Don’t care. Women shouldn’t get them.”

The next week I went and got my first. I got the Black Rabbit of Inlé from Watership Down. I loved it and whenever I can, I go get inked. I love it.
