Matt Forrney, the asshole behind the now-defunct In Mala Fide blog, is apparently as desperate for attention as ever. So today I’m going to indulge him by posting this deliberately obnoxious comment of his about women and drinking. [CORRECTION: The post was actually written by someone calling himself “The Captain Power,” who is evidently a whole other different person than Matt Forney, who merely published this post on his blog called Matt Forney.]
If your girlfriend goes out and drinks alcohol, you are most likely getting cheated on.
Women by nature are predetermined in their D.N.A to get pregnant and reproduce, and until they reach menopause they need a constant supply of penis to provide fertility. Your girlfriend might prefer your penis, but once the alcohol kicks in and she is inebriated, your penis is useless. Out of site, out of mind (but full of semen).
In my entire life I have never met a women who was out drinking and didn’t cheat on her boyfriend. …
The few drinking exceptions for women include weddings, work parties, birthday parties with male friends, and suicide attempts.
The reference to suicide attempts at the end is a nice touch.
Looks like I spoke too soon when I said the comment section over there was halfway decent. And this is why we can’t have nice things.
It’d make a trip to the laundromat seem much more exciting.
Hey, guess what? I finally ordered that “We Hunted The Mammoth To Feed You” apron that I said I would when I got a job! Maybe I’ll take a sushi class with it.
I can’t speak to birthday or work parties but if I didn’t have a fair chance of getting drunk-laid I’d stop attending weddings altogether.
Buttercup, that’s awesome! I’m glad it went so well for you. I’m going to be even more an MRA nightmare and ask a friend. And prolly do it traditional because IVF is expensive$$$$. So literal spermjacking but with consent lol. Having to defend my choice to my family was the really awkward part so far, and one of my friends asked me if it “was even possible for [me] to be a single parent?!” So rage-inducing, I told her off pretty well and she hasn’t discussed it with me since, but she seems to think I’m going to “lose” pieces of me because I’m not married ect. ::rolls eyes:: Pretty sure I’m all in one piece still.
That Sun article… ::sigh:: I’m actually not surprised by that consent comment – I had an ex who made a big deal of pointing out that “legally, the man has 3 seconds before he has to stop before he is violating your revoking consent” when discussing consent… Retrospectively, that should have been a red flag. Hindsight ect ect..
@SittieKitty:
When they get legalistic about consent… run!
That “Consent can’t be withdrawn” sentiment is so widespread. It makes me shudder that so many people think that.
Well, folks, I’m off to see Neil Gaiman. I will make a full report tomorrow.
They haven’t said yet that photography or audio recordings are prohibited, I’ll see what I can do.
In the meantime, have some real babes.
David Futrelle
Even if he’s not Matt Forrney, “The Captain Power,” is still a sexist pig.
@Ibara:
What sort of understanding would you expect from a higher-class prole?
Holy Pelltdown. why do I always miss these? Totally late here, but this
makes me think it must be exhausting to talk to every single woman at a bar when you go out drinking in an attempt to suss out whether or not they are cheating hypergamous cheaters.
Also, if you’re still lurking dear Pell, I’m surprised that someone with a Master’s in economics cannot seem to grasp the most basic of numbers. 2 girlfriends who cheated on you =/= the entire female population of the world.
The biography of Christopher Pell has been updated. I feel like it’s getting overwhelmingly long; I need to find a way to break it up into bits so I can really highlight each individual bit of absurdity.
Hyena Girl, it only just occurred to me that he must have looked that up for some reason to even know that minutia of law… Yeah, definitely should have seen that flag. -_-
pi male — don’t bother. That was a long standing troll, and he got the banhammer yet again.
SittieKitty — well, some state did set exactly how long the penis can remain in the vsgina before withdrawl of consent becomes rape…and yes it’s gendered like that.
I checked cuz uh…I didn’t want to be PA’s test case…
aww I missed Pell. 🙁
Yeah, exactly. People will forget fairly quickly that you just completely lost your taste in men when drunk and had sex with an idiot. A rape accusation, however, pretty much guarantees that you’ll never be allowed to forget the whole thing. Lots of people will think you’re an evil lying bitch, and some will believe you but pity you in a completely awkward way, as if you’re now this broken shell of a human. And some friends may of course also believe you and be all supportive and stuff, but it would STILL be SO much better for you to just not talk about it and let everyone forget it.
Theoretically, it could make sense to make a false rape accusation for a woman from a terribly conservative culture where sex before marriage is a big no-no, but these cultures are always terribly big on victim-blaming, so in reality that’s not the case. Smarter to just deny you’ve ever had a penis in you and anyone who says so lies, and possibly also have one of these terrible plastic surgery procedures where you sew up the vagina a bit to create the illusion of “unbroken hymen”for the benefit of a future husband (the fact that there’s even a market for this kind of procedure really shows that women aren’t half as eager to make false rape accusations as MRA:s imagine…)
In Sweden, supposedly a modern and liberated country, it’s illegal to inseminate single women with sperm, because “a child needs two parents”. Only women who have a husband/wife or partner they live with are allowed the procedure.
Meaning single women who wants to be inseminated just go to Denmark and have it done, where it’s illegal. Denmark isn’t exactly far off. So the only thing this silly law accomplishes is preventing poorer women who can’t afford that from having a baby.
Argenti, yeah, I’m not in the States. But still, it’s a ridiculous thing to have mandated, and even stranger to have looked up if you’re a straight cis male…
Delurking to answer this! It is considered standard practice in the US, though rates are falling pretty steadily. I think it’s down to around 50-60% overall, but I may be off some. It’s been a little while since I looked it all up, I stopped researching it when I learned this second baby (due in two months!) is a girl. Even with rates falling, it’s still considered the norm though, my sister got some flack from the family for not having her son cut.
Sorry, “go to Denmark where it’s LEGAL” of course. Slip on the keyboard.

SittieKitty — yeah, “is this legal rape?” is either a really creepy question or “doesn’t matter what the law says, it was still rape” (note for the new, I should probably say illegal rape, not legal rape, but the concept I’m trying to get at is the gap between what we’d call rape, and what they’ll prosecute)
@Argenti Aertheri: Yeah, I came way too late to the party. I read David’s banning about 5 minutes after I posted that. I really must learn to read properly before posting.
Dvärghundspossen, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was illegal here either. It’s like you’re not allowed to get a tubal ligation unless you’ve already had children, without serious medical intervention/counselling and crap. It’s ridiculous.
Yay! Thank you! ^^
I’ve delurked a few times, maybe this time I can actually work up the confidence to stick around.
