Today, another lesson in how to get yourself hundreds of upvotes on Reddit.
It’s really quite simple.
1) Go to the Ask Reddit subreddit. Find the post asking Redditors if they’ve ever “tried a crazy urban-dictionary sex move? (e.g. Alaskan Pipeline, Komodo Dragon, Donkey Punch, etc.) How did it turn out?”
2) Post a story about a hilarious little prank you (allegedly) pulled on a sex partner that instantly transformed consensual sex into violent rape.
3) Oh, and throw in a gratuitous racial slur while you’re at it.
4) Then whine about how your partner’s negative response to your (alleged) little rape prank gave you “blue balls” and complain that you might have to pay her damages for “emotional distress” in civil court (allegedly).
You might think that this might be a bit much even for the morally undeveloped manchildren (and occasional womanchildren) who populate Reddit. But guess what? The poster of the tale in question got literally hundreds more upvotes than downvotes for his whiny “confession.”

There were, of course, those who reacted like normal human beings to Mr. Dick Pic’s story. (I’ve obscured the homophobic slur that made up the entirely of his reply.)
Mr. Dick Pic was so offended that anyone was offended by his shitty (alleged) behavior that he rage-quit the thread, deleting his comment and — living up to his name — leaving only a dick pic in its place.
Now, Mr. Dick Pic may just be trolling, and I really hope that’s all there is to his terrible story, but his ridiculously pissy behavior after he got called out makes me think that his story, or at least parts of it, may actually be true.

One day, the liberals will realize that using the expression “white privilege” was a tactical mistake. Not every white lives in a middle-class area, there’s a lot of white people out there who grew up in a predominantly non-white poor neighborhood and experienced some different kinds of “white privileges” and saying to them that they’re “privilege-denying entitled white whiners” when they refuse to acknowledge that “whites can’t be oppressed” and that “anti-white racism isn’t a thing”, especially when it’s a privileged white upper middle class guy or an Adria Richards who says it, isn’t a good idea. They can accept that no one gives a fuck about what they’ve been trough but they won’t accept to “acknowledge” their “white privilege”, they won’t accept being spat on by the privileged white liberals.
Keep talking about “white privilege” and you’ll create more white guys who prefer to be unapologetic racists/misogynist/homophobic guys rather than being humiliated one second longer by the really privileged people, the ones who create the “discourse”, the ones who hold the economical and symbolic power who can be male or female, white, black, pink, or purple, but always like to spit on some white trash’s face.

If a person chooses racism, misogyny and homophobia over feeling a momentary sense of humilation, those are not really people I wish to engage with.
Why would anyone? Someone chooses to be a racist and goes on with that, instead of… being mildly inconvenied? Then fascism wasn’t created by “Us”. It was already there. This was just the excuse they sprung on.
Their own personal pride beat any consideration for anyone else.

Even if you were right about Liberals ignoring issues that are important to poor white males (which you’re not), and that all poor white males would, purely out of spite of being told that they have a certain amount of privilege, work towards fascism, I’d wager that poor white males that grew up in predominantly non-white neighborhoods make up a very small block of people with even less lobbying power than other poor people.

The underlying message is that the rights of marginalized groups are not rights at all, but privileges granted to them by the straight white dudes, to be revoked at any time due to bad behavior or failure to keep the dudes happy enough.
