my partner is okay, thanks for the care. it’s a serious, chronic illness, but it’s one that makes typical relationship stuff very difficult. and it is always hard to watch the people we love be in extreme pain.
i do love love stories, but i also love heartbreak stories, depending on what mood i’m in.
and LOL minty. is there any legitimate evo psych out there (the premise to me seems pretty absurd — let’s assume everything is adaptive, go back and make up the logicz? i understand it’s not that simply but that’s my late night inebriated explanation). is there any out there? i’d like to know. and not dawkins. i don’t wanna talk dawkins.

Thank you, everyone! I don’t know whether we’ll do anything on this side of the veil (maybe Thursday, it’s a public holiday) but I’m sure we’ll have fun on ‘tother side. That’s if Mr K’s youngest doesn’t draft us into helping plant his garden now we’ve finished ours.
Bulldogs! I met the most gorgeous bulldog cross last week. His dad’s an Australian bulldog (they’ve been bred to eliminate the real problems with narrow hips, bowed legs and short noses the English ones have) and his mum’s an English bulldog-boxer cross. Lovely boy, but BIG! 26 kilos and he’s only seven months old, and can jump almost to head height.
His dad said he’s going to introduce him to trampolines, ‘cos he saw that video of the bulldog playing on one. 😀
Ah it’s your anniversary, tell him the garden can wait!
