BREAKING NEWS: Men (Still) Oppressed By Women Who Dress Like Whores

Women Oppressing Men With Scanty Attire in the 1920s

I haven’t had the patience to go through the discussions that developed in the wake of the Men’s Rights Subreddit’s historic winning of the prestigious King Dick of Fart Mountain Subreddit of the Day award yesterday. But I did read enough to come across this little exchange, in which a heroic Men’s Rightser confessed how touched he was that someone outside the Men’s Rights subreddit had noticed the bold, brave activism of Reddit MRAs.

And then someone pointed out some other things he’s said a couple of days ago.

NWOslave, is that you?

Actually, I doubt it; NWOslave has an account under his own name there. But great minds do think alike.

Here’s the link to StarFscker’s original comment in context.

“That, or we could hint that it’d somehow disprove climate change.”

Crossing legs keeps ball heat at bay thus lowering the heat output of any given testicle haver! (Yeah I know it doesn’t work that way, in any sense, but fuck if climate change deniers understand logic!)

RE: Some Gal

D8 Oh god that sounds HORRIBLE! I had cysts in the now-nearly-departed boobs, and I crawled walls a third of the time by the tail end of it. And those weren’t nearly as sensitive as balls!

That’s interesting. A lot of testicle-bearers feel the same way (never happened to me), presumably because of some minor detail (thigh size? ball size? ball arrangement in underwear? relative ball height?), but there also seems to be a cultural element – the legs-crossed-tightly pose in men is associated with Romance-speaking countries mostly. I remember a pissed-off Roissy post about some statue of dude sitting like that on a bench in Argentina (? I think it Julio Cortazar or some writer-type) that apparently showed how South Americans were all beta feminised pussy-pedestaling herbs or something.

For me, my thigh size, ball arrangement in underwear, and my relative ball height all contribute to my feeling of discomfort. It has no cultural reasoning because, if it weren’t for my balls, I’d always sit with my legs closed up all the way.

Also, hot weather makes it 100 times worse.

Which, btw, my feeling about that? Public transportation is often uncomfortable, and nobody has a right to make it extra uncomfortable for the person next to them just so they can snag a little bit of extra comfort for themselves. So we’re back to the idea of entitlement.

Yeah, that’s my attitude as well. Just because sitting like that is understandable from my point of view doesn’t mean that I can tolerate it (for myself and others).

From what he’s said, it’s pretty bad, but it only hurts rarely. (The only option is surgery so it would have to hurt a lot more or be causing some problem for it to be worth doing that.)

I wish I had a dollar for every man who has told me that he can’t be sexist, he loves women!!1! who then went on to try to prove his point by saying he loves having sex with/dating women. A) That is love to you? B) Women you don’t want to have sex with aren’t women in your eyes?

RE: Some Gal

He has my sympathy. Mine were bad for about a week and a half out of the month, drove me up the wall. When I had top surgery, some folks were like, “But won’t it hurt?” And I was like, “You really don’t understand, do you? This will be the END of pain.”

And it was totally true. My chest has been painfree ever since! 😀 Best $6800 I ever spent!

How coincidental given that we’re talking about fauxgressives in the other thread!

That’s totally awesome! A week and half every month is a long time, I can see getting rid of that being worth a lot more!

RE: Some Gal

Hell yeah, you have NO IDEA. Being in pain is bad, being in pain in a body part that you wish to god didn’t exist in the first place is a special kind of torment. But now it’s gone, and I have a wonderful flat chest that doesn’t hurt and OMG IT IS AMAZING. I do not regret coughing up such a huge wad of money for that. (The number I gave was JUST the procedure. It doesn’t include the travel and two months recovery time off work.)

Also, does anyone here know anything about uploading webcomics via WordPress? I’m trying to get my webcomic up and I has a tech dumb like CRAZY.

Are you just trying to embed the image in a post?

RE: katz

I have a thingy called Comics Easel… but I can’t figure out how for the life of me to get the strips to show up, or how to organize them.

My friend who was going to help me is, alas, away. This might just have to be a thing to be pushed back till tomorrow.

Oh, OK. I haven’t used that plugin so I wouldn’t know.

RE: katz

No worries, thanks anyway. *sigh* Times like this, I wish I wasn’t so tech-dumb. Drawing a hundred strips? Easy! Putting them online? HARD.

Well I am tired of waiting up for Mr. “just five more minutes of Minecraft, baby,” so I am going to bed at the extremely cool hour of 11:00 on a Friday. Have a good one everybody!

LBT — the easy way is just to start a new post and click “add media” — you can use the media tab to upload the, first if you want, but since you’ll still need a post for them to be properly visible, I’d go with the easy way (ok, no, I’d manage to excessively complicate things with jQuery, but that’s neither here nor there!)

“being in pain in a body part that you wish to god didn’t exist in the first place is a special kind of torment”

By all the gods, yes!

G’night Viscaria!

LBT — it looks like adding the widget involves php, I could probably do it (depending how complex the theme is), but having no experience with that particular plug-in, I’d say you’re best waiting for that friend who knows wtf ze’s doing. Sorry!

Plugins like comics easel do not work on the free WP blogs. You need to host WP on your own site.

Just saving you some time there.

No, sexy clothes on a woman = sexy clothes on a man.

He didn’t even say sexy, he just said revealing. Making it sexual is all in his own mind.

I was at a shopping centre earlier today (before this post even went up!) and was thinking about this sort of thing, because the majority of people weren’t wearing very much. And you know why? It’s hot. They aren’t dressed up for clubbing, they are wearing practical clothing for dealing with summer.

I also noticed for the first time (how did I not notice before?) that very very few women were wearing heels. Like, I counted 3 out of the hundreds of women I saw. I just thought that was cool. It says to me that the women wearing heels wanted to be, not that there were being culturally pressured into it.

And coincidently, I was wearing leggings and a see-throughish singlet today, because I was at the gym earlier. I did not feel fashionable.

@LBT I am pretty good with wordpress. I’ll have a look at that plug-in and see if I can work it out. Are you using wordpress.com or do you have your own site?

In terms of revealing clothes on men, my neighbor regularly takes his shirt off while doing laundry so that he can wash it. He walks around like that all the time – am I supposed to be angry and frustrated by his revealing attire? Granted that I dislike the guy, but his body’s not bad. And yet I am not angry because hey, dude’s doing laundry, who cares if he wants to throw his shirt in too?

Revealing clothing hints here. Now this was on, on TV in NZ before 8:30pm, but it may still be NSFW.

I wondering now if starf*cker is one of those conservative christians we talked about before, related to the Modesty Survey.

One of the weirdest revelations for me is that dudes like that find jeans too alluring to be acceptable in that you can see the butt. I grew up in the Middle East so I think of jeans as being in the OK column since they cover the legs.
