The Stuff I Ban Part 2: Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop

Symbolic representation of the Man Boobz Trash folder.
Symbolic representation of the Man Boobz Trash folder.

Time for another peek into the Man Boobz “Trash” folder!

Regular commenters here may have come across the comments of an MRA/MGTOWer calling himself justeunperdant, who has graced the comments section here with sarcastic if often quite surreal remarks which are enhanced, I feel, by his poor command of the English language.

Here’s one of his perplexing little gems (and no, it doesn’t make any more sense in context):

just1

Here’s one that’s slightly less perplexing, though it seems to be based on the notion that Title IX isn’t a law but is actually the name of some dude:

just2

But what you don’t realize is that not all of Mr. justeunperdant’s comments see the light of day. For example, several days ago he tried to post the following comment:

just3

The problem here wasn’t the comment itself, which is fairly typical of MRAs who visit the site; it was that he attached a video that evidently showed pictures of Jodi Arias, now on trial for the murder of her boyfriend, dragging around his dead body. Not particularly wanting such a graphic video up on Man Boobz, I sent justeunperdant’s comment to the trash.

This made him mad:

just4

I didn’t let that one through either.  He keeps posting comments; I keep tossing them in the trash.

just5

When MRAs suggest I delete comments because I “can’t handle the truth,” this is the sort of “truth” they’re talking about.

Argenti, sorry about the breakup!

BlackBloc (@XBlackBlocX)

Actually, “Juste un perdant” does translate pretty directly to “just a loser”. It might be an anglicism, so that might mark him as a Franco North American, perhaps a fellow Quebecois. Unfortunately. We do happen to have a bunch of Fathers 4 Justice and creepy Marc Lepine worshippers round these parts.

Argenti, I have bread baking now, I will send some to you through the inter-tubes once it is finished in about 3.5 hours. 🙂

Ooh, what kind of bread, Kiwi girl? I love making bread. I love eating other people’s homemade bread too.

It’s a recipe from http://www.holst.co.nz/Shop/Books/New-Zealand-Bread-Book.aspx and I’m making the fruity oat bread, but had to substitute currents for apricots as I don’t have any dried apricots on hand.

The beer bread recipe is soooo nice, and I don’t like beer – apart from that bread, beer ice-cream, and beer batter.

Thanks guys 🙂 (Honestly, right now I’d just like the not-an-ex to not be busy with grad school…might have to reconsider that nickname now, too much like “as opposed to the not-an-ex cuz we were never serious enough for that” *sigh*)

And mmm, fresh bread!

Wtf are my cories doing? It looks a lot like the loach dance, but they aren’t loaches! Guys, have you decided to be loaches?!

Loach dance —

That sounds good! I’ve never had much luck with oat breads for some reason (oat yeast breads that it – I bake quick breads with oat flour all the time). If you do find dried apricots some day, try them – I made some apricot and pecan bread once that was out of this world. I need to make that again.

🙂 mmm pecans. And here’s a traditional NZ bread that can be made without a bread maker, seriously considering about starting the bug tonight: http://allrecipes.com.au/recipe/10842/rewena-paraoa–maori-bread-.aspx Māori bread is the greatest!

That sounds delicious! (Now I want bread.)

Mmmm, potatoes. Potatoes give bread such a nice texture.

The stuff he says is just such a combination of despicable and badly written, I have no reaction to what he says. I don’t laugh, I don’t get angry. It’s like my brain shuts down when I read it.

Oh, pecans are nice, Kiwi Girl. I once had a pork chop covered in pecans at a nice bistro in New Orleans. 🙂 You wouldn’t believe it…

I’d peg Just a Loser for Quebecois, given hoax name and syntax.

Kiwi girl, I assume it’s too late for a photo? We had a black wasp in our bathroom the other day and turned out to be a native (NZ) wasp. Looked like a regular wasp only melanistic (dark grey and black striped).

My sympathies AA. On the plus side: cories! They are freaking awesome. I’ve seen them kinda dance around almost like loaches, so it doesn’t surprise me if your little dudes do it considering they live with clown loaches! All my favourite fish are bottom feeders. 😛

“All my favourite fish are bottom feeders.”

Lol, YES! MRAs and their ilk give bottom feeders a bad name. I think the cories may’ve done the fish version of imprinting on the loaches, because of issues with the tanks their parents are in, the fry only know each other, and the loaches (well, and plec and some danios, but they seem to ignore each other) what’s really weird is that the loaches don’t mind any, to the point that the littlest one follows around some of the cories!

And Argenti, to AA, please, thank you for your sympathies, but please don’t shorten me to Alcoholics Anonymous, thanks!

So. Many. Cories. Their parents are three cories in a 29 gallon tank after it went from establishing biological filters to OMFGS ammonia, to “great, well with most of the fish dead the levels should get reasonable” to “ok, it’s been four months, this is absurd” — I *finally* got reasonable readings of “ok, we have functional biological filtration” today. Going to give it a week and decide what I want to do, that tank is in the living room, so I think I’m going to let my mother pick the fish, all the ones that died where hers so I feel bad and want to make it up to her.

Thanks for causing the fish tangent, I seem to have pulled myself together enough to go make tea…think I’ll save the good stuff though, seeing how I’m probably going to violate it with Jameson’s.

Harmonious living in the fish world! 🙂

Yum, all that talk about bread. And this coming in the middle of me re-reading the Corinna Chapman series, where protagonist-narrator is a baker who does all sorts of drool-inspiring breads like these.

And. there. is. no. fucking. bakery. where. I. live.

At least none that cater for more than the most basic white-multigrain-rye breads. I’ve never tasted potato bread, or sourdough, or pasta douro! Grrr!

Bloody outer suburbs.

Claire, I don’t think Mr. Underpants is material for a workable script, unfortunately; he’s just way too far past the boundary of incoherence.

Sorry to hear about getting dumped, Argenti! I got dumped pretty recently too, and it sucks. You don’t know me well as I mostly lurk but I will offer you internet hugs if you want them, too.

Bread is now sitting for 10 minutes, have taken photo of it in the breadmaker pan thing. Will take photo of it out, and then after cutting and will post. It smells soooooo good. Kitteh – make your own bread with a breadmaker, saves on the sweating over the rising phase. I bought the Panasonic as it was the only one with a Consumer all-around rating, some of the others apparently didn’t add raisins/nuts very well (you stick these into a little compartment and tell the machine that you’re doing a raisin loaf, so it adds them at the right time), and there were other issues that I can’t remember with the other models.

Just have to remember it takes 4 hours from when you start it baking…

Have you made bara brith, Kiwi girl? Welsh fruit bread, apparently.

Kiwi girl

Ooo no, that does sound nice. My heritage doesn’t include Welsh, and the only cooking-related bits I have are Cornish, although being vegetarian means I don’t make any of them. I will need to investigate this bread. 🙂 It also means that we have located the fault for the last loaf not working – the yeast was indeed too old.
