There’s a new blog out there that I think a lot of you will appreciate. I would say “enjoy,” but your enjoyment of it will no doubt alternate with despair over the future of the human race. Which makes it sort of like this blog!
Anyway, the blog is called PUA.txt, and, as the name suggests, it features horrible quotes taken from forums and other websites where would-be pickup artists like to congregate.
My favorite quote, of all those featured there, is probably this exceedingly whiny one from The Venusian Arts forum, in which a PUA by the name of Rick Tiero defends another commenter who refers to women as sluts. While other PUAs there are annoyed by the slut basher – because calling women “sluts” makes them defensive and less likely to want to have sex with PUAs — Rick has a different take. Addressing himself to one of the forum’s few female members, he writes:
Don’t try to judge him, you don’t know what the fuck he’s been through. Stuff like that can come from fucked up parents or even kindergardens that forcefeed small boys with religion and evil feminist propaganda, totaly destroying someones sexlife in the later years.
Of all the guys in here, very few are here by choice. You feminists have created spank for your own ass by compromising genderoles for ages now, don’t bitch about it. You women ruined our fun first by being a somewhat moral police yourselves! It is called bad karma.
No man wants to do whats wrong with women, they have been taught wrong by a society in genderless chaos created by the feminist movement, a movement so selfish and evil that I like to compare it to the new age nazis. In this society women are expected to not show body because a man is supposed to like her for her personality, like a woman likes a man.
It is doomed to fail, because people are not built that way. I bet OP has seen alot of porn and wouldn’t mind fucking all of the women in that room, even the fattie, bacause it’s nice for a change. Deep inside of him there is a good PUA just waiting to surface anytime soon.

Man! I can’t even go to the store and buy myself some bread without walking by the magazines with naked women all over it. It’s like wherever i turn there is a pair of titties mocking me, looking at me with it’s poking eyes. In the local park they have made this figure of a naked woman, but it’s made of stone. You women don’t have to go through any of that.
Yep, that’s right, it’s that old argument: Sexy women oppress men with their sexiness!
The most horrifying comment I’ve found on PUA.txt so far is probably this one from RooshV’s forum about the pros and cons of having sex with disabled women:

Well, kind of, but definitely only kind of. Talking from a very small sample size here though. “Normal (man/woman/person)” is just often a troublesome construction, anyway.

Mine was posted before I saw yours.
I have noticed that any fat on the upper chest (including those that is refered to as ‘moobs’) will spread out and under the armpits when the body is horizontal.
I have a case of the ‘magical reappearing fleshbags’ whenever I sit up. I go from horizontal almost-boychest to vertical “goodness, diminuative tits!” And I’m pretty sure I can fit into the larger starter bras (I just haven’t tried). I know I’d be in those in the US because the sizings for US boobs are bigger (US AA is approx. UK A etc.)
The sizing thing is so weird. I’m not quite sure why it isn’t the same from the UK to the US, but it isn’t. And then you get into Japanese sizing and it’s off by a cup size again (at the upper end at least), so a British E cup becomes a Japanese F cup.
(I also feel like American bras are made for a much longer torso than American bras, because full-cup American bras in my size come up almost to my collarbones in the front. Like, technically it’s the right size and you can tell in the middle of the cup area, but the cups just extend much too far on me? This is why I never buy American bras.)

It is very possible that I’ve been distracted rather than concentrating on the exact behaviour of the boobs in question while making my observations, and, again, very small sample size.
We can all agree that young (or not!) dudes not expecting boobs to move outwards at all ever is pretty scary/ though, right?
American bras are made for a longer torso than British bras, I mean. I can type good, honest.

And the Australian system uses the odd “subtract c. 21 inches from the diameter in question” thing a lot of clothes use. Why 21″(-ish) though? Women’s pants, some men’s t-shirts, and a lot of kid’s stuff seems to do this.
I wish there was a good, short and succinct way to describe those expectations and explain how they’re not realistic that doesn’t marginalize anyone.
The reason lowquacks initial comment made me go “huh?” is that, like CWS said, I have a good friend who’s an A cup who constantly complains about the spreading issue because men have given her shit about it, precisely because they seem to think that it won’t happen with smaller boobs.
(As far as how implants behave when you lie down, I have no idea. I have friends who have them but I’ve never gotten naked and sweaty with any of them, so no sense of what happens when you move around, and who knows what kind of camera trickery, strategically placed tape, etc may be going in in porn.)
It is pretty unusual for it to not a be a thing, yeah. My first thought was just for women who don’t have boobs at all for whatever reason, really. My mum nearly had to have a masectomy recently so it was on my mind.
I was arguably just doing tumblr-level SJ pedantry though.
I have a very snuggly relationship with my friends, male and female, who have had various quantities of chest fat. It aaaaaaaaaaaall spreads into the armpits. You can tell if someone lies down without a bra.
As for porn, I suspect they use CGI to remove all the scaffolding. 😛

Depending on the make & model of bra, my cup size ranges from DD to I. Seriously, eye. Aye. I. I can’t even… So yeah. Looking forward to losing the next forty pounds, hopefully much of which will be from my chest. And REALLY looking forward to being able to buy a decent bra for less than $200.
Nah, I agree that “normal” isn’t a good word to use. I’m just trying to think of a similarly succinct way to convey the idea that this is something that one might often expect to see with bodies that have breasts, so, you know, expect it to happen more often than not.

Do you know about Bravissimo? They’re not cheap, but they’re definitely not in the $200 a pop range either, and they only carry D cups and above.
I should think “normal woman things” could imply “things that, if they are on a woman, are perfectly normal and not weird or a problem” (as in “that mole isn’t cancerous, it’s normal”), rather than “things that a woman must have to be normal.”
Of course not all boob-havers are women, either, so there’s that too.

Actually, waitwaitwait. Presumably these young men who freak out about boob spreading are aware of the composition of human bodies (mostly muscle and fatty tissue), the texture of boobs (feels like fatty tissue), and the effects of gravity, right? How did they get to their late teens/early 20s without knowing what gravity does to fatty tissue? Do they think boobs are magic?!
(Small boob misconceptions can be forgiven as mine are *quick grope for SCIENCE!* mostly muscle, mammary tissue, and absorbed vexation, and they don’t spread that much because there isn’t a lot to spread…)
