The Angriest Spearheader? The Wit and Wisdom of Darryl X

It’s back to the caves for you, ladies!

There are a lot of hair-raisingly reactionary dudes on The Spearhead, but perhaps none quite so hair-raising as the prolific commenter who calls himself Darryl X. Here are some of his pearls of wisdom, taken from a recent Spearhead thread. (Many of his comments in the thread were devoted to a sort of mini-vendetta against another Spearhead commenter, Andie, who had committed the crime of commenting while female; I’ve cut out most of that to focus on Darryl’s more timeless thoughts.) Fair warning: This is extreme stuff, even by Spearhead standards.

Back to the Caves, Women!

Since the solution for the past forty-four years was to kill and impoverish and exile and imprison men and steal their kids, I’d say sending women to live in a cave is a generous trade.

This Means War

All women are feminists because all women (without a single exception) have benefited excessively from the legal, political, social and financial machine that feminists have created. And those benefits have all come at the expense of the lives and livelihoods of tens of millions of men and children (in the US alone). When all my financial resources and children which women stole have been returned to me and all women are living on the street to pay for it only then will there be fairness.

Feminism is a hate movement. It is a campaign of hate against men and children. And all women are evil until feminism has been destroyed and every women pays back repairations with interest. …

This is a war. And it will end only one way. The complete utter destruction of feminism and the women who participated in it and/or who sat by passively at let it happen. I have absolutely no sympathy and will demonstrate no mercy for any woman until I and other men have been compensated and women and feminists have been punished for their egregious crimes against humanity (preferably with death sentences). This is a war that women started and it will not end until every one of them has paid. …

Why Andie Must Pay for the Crimes of All Women

She’s a woman. She benefited from feminism more than any man. Even if she represents 20% of women who are not psychopaths, she must be compelled to take an active part in the destruction of feminists and feminism. … She must pay for her complicity … The consequences of her failure to stop feminism must be greater than the retaliation by feminists. Otherwise, there will be no incentive for women to help men. This is a war. If you aren’t fighting feminism and feminists, then you are helping them. Stopping feminism is fundamental to maintaining civilization.

Have You Herd the News?

Women are herd animals. … Women are much easier to control and manipulate than boys … Boys have to be drugged. Girls come pre-drugged.

You Choose, You Lose

Women have choices. If they want rights and privileages, then they must have responsibilities. Presently, women vote. But they are not held accountable for the consequences of their choices when they vote. Most men have no choices. If they want to live. Women are not women today. They are whores. Big difference.

The Perfect Host

Women and feminists are opportunists. They are … looking for someone else at whom to point fingers of blame and cast aspersions and pick up the tab as they now understand that responsible men have nothing left to steal. They’re just looking for the next host on which to parasitize.

We’re Still Hunting the Mammoth to Feed You

[M]ost of the taxes that men are currently paying fund the excessive lifestyles of women … [M]en do all the work and women do little or nothing.

Everyone Needs a Hobby

I have been actively fighting feminism for more than thirty years. I have racked up quite a list of those who have made the mistake of getting in my cross-hairs. … Many a feminist federal employee and university professor have watched their careers and their lives come apart after picking a fight with me. … I don’t have television or cable or internet and cell phone or land line or refrigerator or microwave. Hunting feminists is my hobby.

Unhappy hunting!

Just throwing in my support for Trader Joe’s and its excellent chocolate. There’s one a block away from work, and I like to buy those three-packs of Belgian fair-trade dark chocolate and keep them in my desk. It’s not even candy; it’s medicine.

And another one down for “Really? Microwave Ownership is a hobby?”
He’s probably been writing that down in the “hobbies and personal interests” part of his CV then blaming affirmative action when human resources give the job to somebody who reminds them a little less of Alan Moore’s paradoy of a raw bean eating Objectivist.

But he’s not angry! Anger is an emotion and Men don’t have emotions, so don’t you dare accuse him of having an emotion! Calling for revenge “with interest” and wanting to kill all women because one woman “stole” your kids are OBVIOUSLY positions arrived at via pure, Manly reason.

Could anyone give me the direct link to Darryl X’s crazy list of hatred for child support? I’d like to have it on hand for evidence when i’m next having an argument with someone about whether MRA’s are woman haters or not.

Reading between the lines here, I suspect he’s pissed off that he has to pay child support for his kids when he doesn’t have “possession” of them. So men that voluntarily engage in hetero sex don’t have to take responsibility for helping to support the kids that result? The mother should bear all the costs by herself?

Pretty much. That’s why they like to say “Her body, her choice, her responsibility”. They want to be able to run away from their own children with zero responsibility. It’s bad enough they don’t want to help raise their kids; they don’t even want to pay a dime to make sure their kids have food, shelter, clothing, or school supplies, even when they make good money and can easily afford it.

Also, most MRA’s do not want physical custody of babies and small children unless they already have a new girlfriend or wife to do the dirty work of taking care of them. Because changing diapers and mopping up vomit is women’s work, amirite?

And slapping the dog, eh? She knows her stuff!

I finally had to separate them last night for most of the night but this morning it was not as bad. Still going to keep them in different rooms while I am here at work for the day.

Daryl is scary, but I think I’m even more worried about what constitutes the voices of reason in that thread…

if we were to avoid hanging Andie for potential evil that she *could* do, rather than what she actually *has* done (we can always hang her later if she transgresses 😛 )

Hey, you’re being unreasonable, man — but don’t be mad cuz the bitch is on permanent parole for being a woman! lol, smiley! Hanging!

@inurashii: Yeah, no kidding. That’s Pecunium’s challenge to anybody who says there are moderates in the MRA: show me one. That guy sounds moderate in comparison to the rest, right? No. A moderate in a hate group is still a violent extremist. He’s just more SELECTIVE in his violent rhetoric, right?

The link cloudiah found for Historphilia is the exact reason I don’t follow the links to the original threads very often.

Getting the extra misogyny and creep-ified feeling isn’t worth it.

The more I read of that, the more I’m thinking he is pissed that women don’t live for him alone. I mean, the idea that MRAs hate women for being human with individual wants, needs, and thoughts is said often enough in the comments here.

Seeing it in action is another thing altogether.

@cloudiah:

“1) Emancipation of all men in jail for child support
2) Cease and desist jailing men for child support
3) Reinstate all passports and driver licenses suspended for child support
Not sure how big a problem this is, but I could go for some version of these, as long as the parent demonstrates an inability to pay. Things that make it harder for non-custodial parents to keep working, or find jobs, seem punitive and counterproductive. Maybe keep the passport thing if it looks like the parent might abscond with the kids to another country.

Except no one goes to jail just for failing to pay child support. Usually what happens is that the guy is shown to be able to pay, refuses to pay, then eventually pisses off a judge to end up in jail for contempt of court. And that usually requires months, if not years, of court orders being blown off by the non-compliant parent.

cloudiah

@Freemage, I know — that’s why I limited punishment for non-compliance to non-custodial parents who do have the ability to pay, and said I didn’t think it was a significant problem anyway. In the cases you describe, the courts should indeed have the ability to compel payment and/or punish non-compliance with court orders.

I mean I guess he could be homeless and posting from the library, but libraries do close something, and they tend to make people leave when that’s about to happen. Are some of the feminists who he’s punished librarians who told him it was time to go? Because I know a whole lot of feminist librarians.

Possible he’s the douchebag the director at our library had to ban because he threatened to strangle a staff member. Since I’m only there on weekends, I tend to miss most of the worst of these kinds of incidents, and damn, was I really glad I wasn’t there for that guy. Fortunately, to my knowledge, no one’s career has been destroyed, though there are a few people who’ve had to move to nights or weekends only due to life changes, so maybe he thinks people he hated don’t work there anymore.

@ostara321

I have to laugh at people who think it is so easy to “get someone fired.” I mean, yeah…there are times when a single complaint is bad enough where the person responsible needs to be let go.

But the “Please don’t engage in X behavior, sir” with the “I’m gonna get you fired!” response is so friggin’ unreal. Businesses and such don’t stay in business when customers don’t show up…but a business also won’t stay in business if they alienate everyone who might work for them. If you really run the risk of getting fired because an angry patron says “I’m gonna get you fired!” it isn’t a place that will last long. That would require pleasing everyone, all the time. With the entitled asshats out there, that just won’t happen.

And, of course, this is totally different for a library that doesn’t exactly have the same “customer-business” relationship model as an independently owned business.

ostara321
ostara321

For what it’s worth, our director is of the mind that we do need to be very customer-business-ish, in the sense that we bend over backwards already to do whatever we can for people, if getting them whatever it is they’re looking for is within our power. He’s also not terribly focused on retention either (really, I could spend a shit ton of comments detailing why he’s not a very good boss, but we’ll just leave it at, “there’s a reason why I only work weekends there now”) but he’s not so much of an asshole that he’s going to fire employees who have been threatened with bodily harm.

Hell, even when I did work retail, I never got fired for complaints about me, mostly because my supervisors were clued in enough to know that most of the people who would complain about me were the same sorts of people who threw change at me (true story).

Wow, he is angry and driven. So angry and driven, it seems to me, that the only reason he could not be in the news is because he is an enormous internet tough guy who can’t even look anyone in the eye in real life, so his great actions for even greater justice have all been petty, douche-canoe shit done anonymously behind the backs of the people he claims to have destroyed.

Stupid men thinking they have rights to their children. Don’t they realize children are a womans chattel. The only right men have is the right to have women take whatever wealth from a man that she wants. Women aren’t put on this planet to do anything for a man. Ever.

If a man does more around the house he’s being helpful to women.
If a woman does more around the house she’s serving a man.
If a man cooks for a woman he’s good and obedient.
If a woman cooks for a man she’s his servant.
If a man does laundry he’s helpful and useful.
If a woman does laundry it’s unpaid labor and she’s a mans servant.

Hey, NWO. Glad you showed up. Would you be good enough to explain a couple of MRA ideas for me?

1) What is “sexual equality?”
2) This: “But they are not held accountable for the consequences of their choices when they vote.” If women do not face consequences for voting, that infers that men do face consequences. If I am in line to vote and the person ahead of me is a woman, what consequences for my vote do I face that she will not?
3) What does this mean: “The consequences of her failure to stop feminism must be greater than the retaliation by feminists. Otherwise, there will be no incentive for women to help men.”

Thanks in advance for helping me understand this.

@nowslave: “Stupid men thinking they have rights to their children. Don’t they realize children are a womans chattel.”

MRA TRANSLATION: How dare women think they have the right to acquire legal custody of a child outside of a marriage when those broads are supposed to be our chattel along with all the children!
