Heartiste: Chris Brown is a great role model for wannabe alpha males

Chris Brown, who’s convinced that he’s apologized enough for what he calls his “mishap.”

Over on his little chateau, otherwise known as a blog, the pick-up Heartiste Formerly Known as Roissy suggests a rather unusual role model for young and not-so-young men hoping to impress women with their alphaness: Chris Brown. Not for being a charismatic singer, but for that time he nearly beat Rihanna to death.

Oh, you don’t have to literally beat up women to be an alpha. Just work on making them uncomfortable and insecure.

Maxim #19: Making a woman feel a little emotional pain will reward you a thousandfold in returned physical pleasure.

You don’t have to be fists-of-fury Chris Brown to pick up a Rihanna and make her fall in deep, profound love with you, but don’t let the lesson of their relationship be lost on you. If you are a beta male — and odds are you are — you can superglue your relationship bond by instilling in your woman a calculated level of discomfort and insecurity. You won’t feel bad about this, because you will know that the discomfort you create is subconsciously DESIRED by your girl. Despite her outward appearance of frustration and timorous appeasement, you will know that inside, she is lit up like a vagina tree, with a squirting orgasm shooting out of the star on top.

In addition to everything else that is horribly wrong with this quote, let me just say that “lit up like a vagina tree” is not a phrase that I hope works its way into the vernacular.

So far, so good.

MSN: My position is that the outcome of most anarchist theory that I have read is something that, while it may be a fairer and more just state that everyone gets input into, is still basically a state. (Also, if run by consensus democracy, one that will involve me go to long and boring meetings, which I am AGAINST on general principle.) And I don’t really see what’s gained by calling it not-a-state.

BlackBloc: If I’d read Paradise Lost a year earlier my name would probably be Non Serviam. 🙂

You are excused. For, like, ever. No really, don’t even worry about it.

I once again pose the critical question – without a government, what’s to stop bad behavior, without any sort of check? What’s to stop inevitable bids for power, from the tyrant to the man who bullies his neighbor?

I hate this argument. It reminds me so strongly of the uberrelugious types who argue that without G-d, there’s nothing to keep humans from being evil.
I like to think there’s enough enlightened self-interest, if nothing else, to keep things going smoothly.

Half my comment got eaten. 🙁

Anyway, uh, MSN, not all First Nations peoples are the *same* people. One can be run along communist lines, while another one is run feudally. Just like China and Japan can have different governments!

@Viscaria,

Yes, he’s excused, and thus he may leave now without fear of causing offense.

MSN said in the other thread that he despised Rand, and now he and Steele are having a circlejerk?

Why do the trolls never fight??

@ katz – I know! And NWO should be getting stuck into both of them too, right?

Katz: I guess for the same reason that supervillains work together, even when their goals are different…?

But even then Magneto totally beats up on Red Skull every time they’re in the same comic.

I’m not an anarchist myself, but given the choice between BlackBloc’s ideal societal model, one that basically requires the poor being ground into dirt to function (Steele), or one that’s built on robots committing genocide against the human race (MSN), I know damn well where I’d rather take my chances.

Well, one only has Steele and his ilk to worry about, since they’re actually real and a threat.

MSN’s wank dream will just be that for a while, and even then…the whole concept of The Singularity…it’s like those people who watch “Robinson Crusoe Goes to Mars” and think that Mars will be exactly like that when Humanity gets there.

True enough. Then again, take away his pipe dream and Noms is still a totalitarian asshole.

@red_locker: I suggest Ursula K. LeGuin’s The Dispossessed. It’s fiction so it’s going to be a lot less boring than reading 19th century white European males (there were plenty of women and non-white anarchists, somehow though those are the ones we have writings from that survived, fancy that). And I guarantee you there isn’t a 50+ pages monologue in it.

Um guys. Check out what Uncle Elmaer had to say on the Spearheads latest post:

” an interesting book about the discovery of a sunken Chinese junk off the coast of Vietnam that contained thousands of porcelain and ceramic items produced by the Vietnamese in the 1400s.

The author goes into the history of deep-sea diving a bit and recounts the story of a ship discovered in an Arab harbor that had 300 female skeletons in sacks lashed to the deck. Apparently some guy had his entire harem tied to a boat deck and sunk it after finding out one of them had been unfaithful.”

This on a post about Saudi Arabia building an all woman city so women can participate in the workforce. And the comment section immediately turns to how well Muslims and “Orientals” can control their women.

Of course everything is worded in such a way that the poster can say “I didn’t mean anything by it!”

There’s a couple of other truly memorable posts in the comment section as well.

BlackBloc (@XBlackBlocX)

It also doesn’t cheat by making the anarchist society teh awesome, like every other fucking propagandist sci-fi ever (and everything Ayn Rand wrote).

I am posting without reading the 200 plus comments because oh my lord zombie jeebus, the PAIN!

she is lit up like a vagina tree, with a squirting orgasm shooting out of the star on top.

must, should, lead to the following scenario:

Flashing red lights, sirens, blaring excitement as three cop cars pull the offender’s blog over to the side of the manosphere.

Heartiste cautiously peeks out the side window and flinches as he sees the fucking bigger than a cubit guns being toted by the METAPHOR MEN who are manly muscled men with major mustaches.

‘Excuse us, sir, but can you show us your license to use figures of speech.’

Heartiste ducks his head. ‘Um, no officer, I can’t.’

“Why the fuck not, sir?’

‘Mumble mumble don’t mumble one.’

‘Figured as much. OK, boys, book ‘im.’

Heartiste is dragged from his blog, spread-eagled on the ground, and shackled with chains that link to the 13 volumes of the COMPLEATE GUIDE TO YE FIGURES OF SPEECH.

He is barely able to stand, let alone stagger back to his blog.

‘OK, sir, you’re sentenced to intensive study of figurative language as remediation to avoid punishment for MANgling the language until it bleeds. We’ll be back next week with your first exam. Have a nice day, sir.’

*whew* that feels better.

I don’t trust anyone to govern anyone because I consider any man in power no matter how moral is going to be corrupted by that power, and I’m the one who thinks people are saints…

That’s an unfortunate worldview, considering power is intrinsic to human social interaction.

Is there any good Anarchist Sci-Fi out there, I remember there was a series that I had saved on goodreads, but the name eludes me at the moment.

That’s an unfortunate worldview, considering power is intrinsic to pony social interaction.

Since when, are we not acting on this blog as equals, the only person with any power here is David, and David almost never excersizes it. Power dynamics are by no means at all intrinsic to relationships or social interaction in any way. I’m autistic and I understand that.

Of course you think power is intrinsic, Steele. You also think we should respect your station. You’re wrong on all counts.

BlackBloc (@XBlackBlocX)

@aworldanonymous: There’s the Culture series by Iain M. Banks but as for whether it’s good… I liked The Player of Games and that’s mostly it.
