Did I write here that I read an article about TUR-Teatern and that they’ll do another round of The SCUM Manifesto in autumn? They will! Was in the local paper last month, mostly about how surreal it felt to have police protection, the amount of threats and hate from all around the world, but how being challenging is more or less their aim (TUR stands for Theatre Without Reactionaries, founded in the early 70s) – nice when it finds an audience (and gets people to go out to an otherwise rather sleepy suburb), but artistic progress is more important in general.

But when you get back, you might want to try and pop over to the Good Men Project. There was some guy named Zek, i think it was, that was saying that he has gotten death threats and castration threats whenever he’s commented on this blog. Now I know that you have a zero tolerant policy for that kind of thing. Maybe you don’t care but I thought you should know. It was a comment on one of Joann Schroders articles. Something about feminism on the GMP.

I’m so sick of MRAs saying this is a hate site. Where have we advocated for taking away men’s right to vote? Where have we discussed lobotomizing men to make them perfect Stepford husbands? Where have we said men deserve to be raped (besides Ruby, and members here ripped her a new one, so she is NOT the consensus)? How about removing the voice boxes of male infants? How about communizing the cock so all men are sexually available to all women all of the time, regardless of their preference?
Women are human beings, not property. Vagina isn’t a resource to be rationed, it isn’t an entitlement to be metered out to all men. And how in the fuck does my stating this translate into misandry? Please, someone tell me!!!!
@Fembot, I’ve been laughing at MRM boobery for more than a decade, and somehow I’ve never caught on to how women thinking they are human beings = men are scum with no rights. MRAs are fluent at the translation though. Fortunately they don’t speak for more than a handful of men in cyberspace (pardon my aged terminology), and most men in the real (non-online) world are unaware of their existence.
