To arms, Men’s Rights Redditors! Evil feminists are running riot on Wikipedia, deleting pages devoted to books by MRA hero Warren Farrell!
Oops. False alarm! Turns out WillToHave doesn’t quite understand how Wikipedia works. As one commenter pointed out several hours after the post went up, no pages about Farrell’s books have actually been deleted. The reason there are no pages about most of his books is … that no one has bothered to put any up yet.
D’oh! MRAs aren’t being oppressed by feminists; they’re being oppressed by their own laziness.
Of course, the only ones who know this are those who’ve bothered to actually read the comments. 15 hours after being totally debunked, the post, with its misleading headline, remains near the top of the Men’s Rights subreddit, with 142 net upvotes.
You see, there’s this thing called notability…
But srsly, I just looked at the wiki page for “The Myth of Male Power,” does the Femspiracy maybe want to take care of that, or?

Sometimes I imagine MRAs to be a lot like those meerkats that stick their heads out of their dens and all stand up like, “what? what? what? what?” Haha, and meerkats are pretty vicious too, so that’s kind of a perfect analogy.

Seriously, I just looked at the page of Farrell and then slipped into surfing other ‘men’s rights’ pages and some editor should have a look at them. These people have been busy shaping wikipedia to their weird world views. The entries on misandry, on Farrell and his books, and other related issues, like that “Boys are stupid. Let’s throw stones at them” shirt, it seems like they could use some editing to make them more objective. Some of them feign objectivity, but seriously…>.<
What’s to take care of? Farrell is just a history-denying fool who wouldn’t know his ass from critical examination. His ridiculous claims are facially false, unless you assume poor women and working women don’t exist.

The majority of MRAs devote the better part of lives to hating western women – their evilness, their ugliness, their rudeness, their failure to recognize the western man’s social and spiritual superiority. Most of them could simply get on a boat overseas and spend the rest of their lives shagging with the best of foreign women, but I think by now hating WW has become a sort of drug. It suits them better to remain in the West, pretending that they’re living in enforced marriages and luxuriating in a minority’s contempt. It happened plenty in the throes of Feminism too.

An oppressed minority venting about the majority is not equivalent to the majority complaining that their house slaves haven’t put the slippers on their feet just the way they want. Further, women are no more rude, evil, or ugly than their male counterparts; frequently less, for rude at least, due to socialization to make people happy.
Further, non-western women have a tendency to desire freedom as well, and it’s incredibly imperialist to treat them as existing for you to shag to escape having to treat women as people.
I always wanted to visit Foreign. It seems like such a nice place with such a quaint way of life. Too bad tickets to Foreign are so expensive. I’d love to spend some time getting to know the people of Foreign.
