Redditor: Do Your Bit for Gender Equality by Telling Women They’re Terrible

Hey fellas, do you ever find yourself wondering: why are women so terrible? Well, over on the Men’s Rights subreddit, a fella named osaap has a partial answer: because dudes don’t criticize them enough!

So, fellas, the next time you see a woman, tell her she’s a mean, thoughtless, selfish, lazy little bitch, and that you won’t be giving her a “pussy pass” any longer. You’ll be doing your part for real gender equality. Pay it forward, by putting her down.

Judging from the dozens of upvotes osaap’s post got, and the almost-100% positive response it received from commenters there, it sounds like a lot of Reddit’s Men’s Rightsers are on board with this ingenious new form of activism.

I find hard to ignore Ruby, because it annoys me that she calls herself a feminist and one of us while saying some completely bs sexist stuff. And her profound misconception of “Science”.

Seconding what ithiliana said on Avengers.

Do all MRAs only go after severely traumatized/baggage-carrying ladies? Or are they only paying attention to those because they have no chance with actual women with functional backgrounds?

I’d say it’s something abusers do, seek out women who have been abused or are carrying baggage because they think it will be easier to break them. I’m no psychologist, but I gotta think exploiting someone’s emotional wounds works to destroy their independence more often than not.

It’s showing up in the MRM because there’s an overlap between abusers and MRAs to some extent. Not all abusers are MRAs, not all MRAs are abusers, but some MRAs are abusers and some abusers are MRAs.

Boy, was that a lot of hedging that’s just going to get ignored in favor of Y U H8 MAILS?!!

Yes. I read a story posted by a self identified alpha on the RooshV forum. When he is on a first date, he pulls into a gas station, hands the girl $40, and tells her to go pump his gas. If she refuses or raises a fuss, he doesn’t pursue a relationship with her.

Sublime Buddha on a pogo stick! I bet he whines about who pays for dinner, too.

And AVENGERS is FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

It is the awesomest.

I would probably pump $10 worth of gas and keep the rest as a tip for being so helpful.

Huh. Pride is this weekend. My husband plans to find SOMEONE to borrow fishnets, rainbows, and mini-skirts from. He’ll probably yoink my sister’s heels too, and depending on weather, I fear a codpiece. He aspires to spend the weekend as fabulously as possible.

I sure hope NWO doesn’t want to bang HIM for “acting like an animal in heat.”

Silly LBT. Men can’t act like animals in heat for the simple reason that NWO isn’t attracted to men. However, 14 year old girls can and do act like animals in heat because… well…

*goes and sits quietly in the corner*

RE: kirbywarp

NWO has obviously never met my husband.

If I’m trans and NWO doesn’t believe trans people exist, does that mean by wearing hot pants and walking around shirtless, I’d be acting like an animal in heat, or just fucking with him?

You’re not obligated to. I mean, I didn’t and don’t think it’s cool to raise it even when she says innocuous and unrelated things like “Yay kittens!”, but if she says “Oh lol men and women are just SOOOO DIFFERENT” it’s totally open game on her.

Pride is this weekend.

Just checked on the internet, and it’s in ten days at home. I’ve never seen one.

He aspires to spend the weekend as fabulously as possible.

If you don’t me me saying*, and IIRC your husband share the same body. Doesn’t that mean he will dress you up as well? Will he be fronting** the whole time?

* and if you do mind, if my question is too personal or rude or whatever, please tell me and I’ll back the hell off immediately and stop being curious about it.

** correct word?

Rutee:
I agree, and when someone (Cliff? Ozy? I forgot) said so, I agreed at some point we were going a bit too far. Past that, I felt no obligation. 🙂

Rutee and Kyrie: I’m not saying everybody or anybody else has to ignore Ruby–I just spent one time too many typing out lengthy stuff that she totally ignored and it got too frustrating when she just kept coming back and doing the same thing over and over and over. It’s for my own internet health!

RE: Kyrie

We’ll likely switch; we usually do. So I’ll likely be stuck in drag a few times, but that just comes with the territory when you share a body with people of varying wardrobe choices and levels of fabulousness. I much prefer being in drag for my system than at anyone else’s behest.

Yep.

When Meller was (in that brief instant) being reasonable (I forget what it was), I was all for treating him like a decent human being. The same for those brief moments when NWO does the same.

Wait wait wait… you mean NWO has said things that AREN’T giant–

oh wait. The KITTENS. I forgot. Never mind, carry on.

LBT: There have been brief moments when he wasn’t railing against the evils of women (mostly talking about, as I recall it) the way that being flown to places to work makes life sort of shitty. Having been in that spot, I can identify, because if one doesn’t have a good set of compatriots to spend time with, being stuck far from home is tedious, at best.

A “higher” standard, eh? Would one say approximately twice the standard? A… double-standard?
