dozens of upvotes misogyny reddit shit that never happened sluts whores

Reddit quote of the day: “I lost a really good friend because he didn’t want to believe his wife was a [six expletives deleted].”

On AskReddit, lostabro33 tells the sad story of how he, er, lost a bro. The tl;dr version:

I lost a really good friend because he didn’t want to believe his wife was a fucking whore bitch slut cunt lying piece of shit.

Here’s the full quote. As you’ll notice, it has 1314 upvotes.

Yeah, that totally happened.

Is Reddit officially the worst place on earth?

(Sadly, I know the answer to that is no. But, damn, Reddit, you really to seem to want to take that number one slot.)

(Thanks to ShitRedditSays for finding this, er, gem.)

EDITED TO ADD: [TW: Child porn]

Speaking of shitty things on Reddit: There was more child porn up on Reddit, this time a post in r/videos with more than 900 upvotes and numerous positive comments, with a link to a video that showed the sexual abuse of a six-year-old boy. The folks in SRS have been talking about it; after numerous complaints from SRSers to the r/videos mods, Reddit admins, YouTube, and the FBI, the video has apparently been removed from YouTube. More details, and a link to the original r/videos thread, in the SRS thread devoted to it. There’s also a lot of discussion of it in the comments to this post here.

Quite frankly, we should just go ahead and shun Magdelynswallows. She’s been rock-stupid before but this? A refusal to just condemn CP, only to defend reddit? Just fuck off. That actually makes you the worst person who trolls manboobz, by a wide margin. Even the parallel universe twits are not as bad as you. Go find someplace else to be a cool kid at.

The response of a reasonable person when they hear that their community harbors child predators is to go “OMG, how do we fix this? This is wrong and these people should be in jail.” However Mag goes the same route of the Catholic Church and doubles down by minimizing the scope of the harm done (this is not an isolated case of CP on Reddit) and claiming Reddit is under attack for being too awesome. Seriously, if your reaction to children being victimized is how to protect the group doing to victimizing you have a seriously broken moral compass.

As vile as all this is, I do have to laugh at the notion that Reddit has a sterling reputation to defend.

It’s basically the site for people who think that they have an inherent right to be complete assholes, and that anyone who complains about it or even points out that they’re being assholes is infringing on their civil liberties

Which is why it’s the perfect place for a MRM community.

Yo, Magz, if you don’t want people saying you condone child porn, maybe instead of calling them liars you could CONDEMN CHILD PORN. Maybe even fucking do something about it.

That’s been Magz’s shtick this whole time. No matter how horrible or indefensible the comment in David’s post is, Magz refuses to condemn it and instead just makes a pathetic criticism of Manboobz or shouts “First!”

Stop pretending western women don’t fully endorse child porn with feminists leading the way. What do you think teaching young girls to dress and act like animals in heat is? It’s simply teaching little girls to act like hypersexual animals in heat to display a readiness for reproduction, sex.

Why do western women endorse little girls to lack all sexual self control while condemning any man for the slightest lack of sexual control. How much of the wealth of the western world is spent on women/girls to enhance and hypersexualize themselves? It seems when you give women the freedom to express themselves, they immediately devolve down to animals in heat, displaying a hyper-reddiness to mate.

I know magz left, and I’m late to this blowout. But CP laws are usually such that you have to have a certain number of images STORED on your system. And that number is sometimes alarmingly high.

Also when I was first reading about this here, and people were talking about alerting mods, all I could think was. alert the police. So sad. What that little boy must live through 🙁 I wonder what the story is behind that.

I see from the link David just posted that it didn’t happen in the US. So Sad. Does anyone know what country? Can anyone guess? There’s no way I can go see for myself.

Not ‘once’. Posting CP got you banned and reported to the authorities with identifying information such as could be found. They annoy people on internet sites, but at least they have some measure of decency. Not a lot, but again, more than Reddit.

4chan is pretty psycho, too. Yes, they’ve done some vigilantism that can make the public feel good (like finding the woman throwing puppies into a river in Eastern Europe), but they’ve also done some pretty disgusting things, too. There isn’t much rhyme or reason to the “enemies” they descend upon, and are more than willing to go after an eleven year old girl for daring to get on the internet and talk shit, as teenagers are wont to do. I know there are other examples of nasty shit they’ve done, but Jessi Slaughter is the first one that comes to mind. Yeah, she was obnoxious. Because she’s a damned KID. Both sites make my skin crawl.

I wish I could be surprised that mags was more concerned about the reputation of the Reddit sewer than the rape of a six year old boy. Mags is an MRA, though, and that means mags has no real moral compass at all.

Feminists = against child porn.

people not affiliated with Feminists or MRAs = generally agains child porn

MRAS = only sometimes against child porn, kind of, when it makes them look bad. (but not really against child porn)

Oh, Jesus Tapdancing Christ, Mags. You can run over to your clubhouse and say we’re haters, but be OK with CP? Your priorities, they are fucked. Hope they enjoyed the bone you brought ’em, lapdog.

I’m with Rutee, let’s ignore her. Buh-bye.

(Yeah, I know I’m late to the party.)

Jesus Christ, Mags, would it kill you to say that 900+ upvotes and a big ol’ delay in taking the CP down is a bad thing? No, you gotta play the victim. It’s your schtick! Something bad happens? Play the victim!

People call out reddit because it’s slower than 4chan and a lot of other places in taking CP down, and worse about banning people who post CP? Play the victim!

Women earning more green than they did 50 years ago? Play the victim!

Stuck behind a 20-car pileup on the highway? Play the victim!

Also, I’m LOLing at your BS about David having watched the video in question. Are you seriously demanding that someone can’t allege a federal crime without committing it themselves? People ought to be able to allege and prove crimes without breaking the law. I mean, we’re not the government here!

Y’know, I’ve been wanting to say this since Magz made the relevant comment, but it seemed in poor taste; however, seeing as some kind of line has clearly fucking been crossed, fuck it:

If you’re a woman who has been raped and you think it was ‘probably your fault’, congrats! You’re the kind of woman who’s ready to join the MRM.

there is unfortunately CP on the internet. There are millions of people on the internet. Just because there is CP on the internet does not make those millons of people guilty of advocating for CP.

This is rich, given the MRM stance that not advocating for the wholesale overturning of a lot of DV and child support laws is the same as actively hating, despising and oppressing men.

Why is it that the one thing is different from the other?

Could it have something to do with the interest so many MRAs have in greatly reducing, if not eliminating altogether, the age of consent?

Certainly a reasonable person might conclude there is some link between the two things.

You’re right. That is in poor taste. In fact, it’s downright assholic. As someone who thought my rape was my own fault and DIDN’T join the MRA, stop it. Mags is an asshole, but don’t bring THAT shit up like that.

But god, seriously, Mags? You are a LOUSY men’s rights activist. Six-year-old boy being raped, no emotional response until it’s dragged out of you. When I talk to you, you latch on to me using “toxic masculinity” and completely ignore everything.

WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING FOR MEN MAGS SERIOUSLY.

So, I watched the video in question. Or at least the first 6 1/2 min, or I’ll be late for work. The scene that’s CP is very, very brief, (at the 6.25 mark) and I wouldn’t have known what it was except for the narrator. The rest of it is a pretty good documentary on a month long rave on the black sea, featuring much nearly nude frolicking on the beach, including the scene in question. I don’t think the video itself is child porn. The slavering, apologist reactions on Reddit? Now that’s child porn, or at least a celebration and defense of it.

Yes, line was crossed.

You crossed it.

You want to slag on Mags for the way she handled this? Fine.

You want to slag on her for her affected attitude of being above it all? Fine.

You want to say she’s not helping women by the ways in which she advocates for men? Fine.

You want to victim blame her twice because of something that happened to her, and then use that to tar any woman who supports the MRM?

Not fine. Double plus unfine. So unfine it’s worse, by orders of magnitude than the thing that offended you.

It’s in a comletely different category. It’s off the fucking charts. It’s straight up evil.

felix, even if the scene is really brief, even if the narrator is wrong, the reactions are, at best, problematic.

If the narrator is right, the situation is horrific.

WTF! There’re plenty of women who blame themselves for their rape, and most of them are suffering victims that have no idea the MRM exists, and would be appalled by them. Many of them are feminists themselves. And to use Mags’ rape (I’m assuming Mags was raped for you to bring this up) as something to score points off of is, to quote Pecunium, straight up evil.

@Mags

How bout MRAs do some fuckin ACTIVISM for a change and organizing peope to get that shit taken down?

Also, does anyone have this idea where this meme of, “I feel no emotional response to things, ergo I’m superior and more logical” CAME from? I find it really annoying.

Wow. I’m glad to know that having been in an abusive relationship where I was trained to believe that absolutely everything was my fault, and not magically being able to overcome that when it came to piddly little issues without any emotional baggage of their own, like being sexually assaulted by my abuser, means I’m now a terrible person and should join the MRM.

Mags is a twit, but it sure as hell isn’t because she had the “wrong” reaction to being raped. And congrats – I thought this thread couldn’t get more nauseating, but you just did a great job of upping the ante.

Star Trek Vulcans and the people who seek to emulate them? I don’t know.
