Another day, another threat – sorry, prediction – of impending violence towards women from someone on The Spearhead. This time from a fellow called James, in his twenties:
The OLDER MEN simply do not understand what it is like to be a young man today.
I will say one thing though- a very big percent of young men of my generation do not believe in this feminism or white knight bullshit, and they have very little tolerance towards it.
Older men will allow themselves to get ass raped in divorce courts, but the younger men of my generation have no such tolerance.
So if the younger women think they are going to treat the younger men with the same level of hatred that the older women do to the older men, they have a big surprise waiting for them.
1. Either the men will just entirely boycott the younger women
or
2. They will actively fight for their rights, even with force, if it requires it
What I mean by that is, the younger generation of men are much more violent than the older generation. So in plain English, if women think they are going to treat the younger generation of men like shit, then we are going to see a huge increase in violence against women.
In short, the men of my generation are not as willing to tolerate the abuse from man hating women as the older men are. Young women would be very wise to take note of this.

Meanwhile, our old friend at the Pro-Male/Anti-Feminist Technology blog highlighted James’ comment in a post of his own, quoting the whole thing, and adding his own spin:

“Radical direct action against feminism?” What does this mean? Generalized violence against women, as James seems to suggest? Firebombing police stations and courthouses, as MRA “martyr” Tom Ball urged in his manifesto? Like most of those in the Men’s Rights movement who like to talk ominously about what they hope will be a massive anti-feminist backlash, the PMAFT blogger is vague about what exactly this might entail. But it’s not hard to connect the dots here.
Protip: MRAs, if you don’t want people to see the Men’s Rights movement as a hate movement — you need to stop posting, stop upvoting, stop even tolerating this kind of hateful shit.
I love vague threats (/sarcasm). They never say anything specific but there is always that threat of “if you all don’t behave you will get it!!”. And they wonder why we call them a hate movement….

What’s interesting/terrifying here is that he acknowledges he wants (sorry, “predicts”) violence just at random against random women. They’re not going to “resist feminism” just by going after the individual women who are actually causing whatever oppression they perceive. They’re going to do it by beating their wives and raping their girlfriends.

There are a few certain flaws in James’ logic.
Okay, leaving aside all the glorification of violence towards women, (we needn’t bother pretending he laments this prophesied wave of violence), I have to call bullshit.
I know countless men today who are supportive of feminism, feminists, and femme-y things. We also support beards and bourbon and flannel and happy monogamous marriages and poly relationships and women having casual, consensual sex with whomever they want to, (and men too, for that matter). Because for all our privilege-blindness and selfish desires (we’re working on these) we know that women are full human beings who deserve every right we demand for ourselves. (People are even starting to believe that individuals who don’t identify with a binary gender are actually full people too, and that gender isn’t tied to biology! Shocking, I know.) Because as much as new media like the internet and more pervasive television have been used to advance male privilege and male gaze, woman have used it to communicate with us, the men, and we’ve come to recognize, if not empathize, with the dehumanizing consequences of sexism and even the bullshit misandry landed on us by the sexists who seek to maintain control.
So bullshit, James. A fat steaming pile of bullshit. You, like the racists, like homophobes, will end up on the wrong side of history. And people like me will look back, from the comfort of a healthy and supportive circle of multi-gendered friendships and relationships, and be proud that we knew of your horse-shit and knew that it was horse-shit and we said so. I’d say fuck you but until you pull your head out of your ass and become a decent human being I hope no one does.

Part of my responsibility as a father is to protect my two boys from feminist violence. This has been a very difficult thing to do.
For example, your crazed hate movement forcefully exorcieses the personality of 2.4 million boys each year (the chemical cauterization of their masculinity is accomplished using Ritalin/amephetamine — schedule I drugs, similar to cocaine and PCP). You know it’s funny that you mention drugs and how often we put kids on them. When this first started the majority of doctors were still *gasp* men! And now that we have more women doctors, what do we do for our kids? *gasp* Find alternatives to simply drugging them. Interesting how that works.

I had teachers worried about me when I went through a sword-drawing phase in eighth grade. But I was already on meds at the time.
I know this point has been made before, but groups like The White Rose Society had to publish in secret because the actual Nazis would come with their non-metaphorical jack boots on and literally kill them. The MRAs just seem to argue with feminists on public forums. They don’t behave in a manner consistent with belief in their own rhetoric. I mean, who has time to argue about holding doors open and who pays for dates when there are supply trains to derail and ammunition depots to dynamite. Either feminism is the new Nazi party or it is not, if it is the MRA need to be fighting feminism by ANY means necessary, and if it is not, they need to find a new metaphor.
Also the fluoride treatment that your dentist wanted to give your child because he was wearing MANLY BLUE OVERALLS, AntZ. And that time the doctor vaccinated your boy-infant because he was CRYING LIKE A MAN.
