Reading this blog, you might get the impression that Men’s Rights activists lack a sense of humor. Not so! Some of them even make their own hilarious comics! I’d like to celebrate three of the finest MRA cartoons I’ve seen thus far in the first edition of what I’d like to call the MRA Comics Cavalcade. In this edition of the popular The Pigman Cometh, the aforementioned Pigman, who has apparently killed a woman, dances with her corpse while spouting humorous remarks about how women and marriage suck. This comic is written by one dude, and drawn by another. Yes, it takes two people to produce masterpieces like this.Two separate people.

In this NSFW cartoon found on the blog Wimminz, two evil feminists talk evilly about divorce and park in a handicapped parking space. Just like real feminists would! And then a guy has sex with, apparently, some sex dolls?

And, finally, in this edition of plasticBrickAutomaton, an evil feminist door-to-door saleswoman tries to sell some dude a weird and incorrect caricature of postmodernism. The guy cleverly parries her attempts to indoctrinate him by attaching a baby to a balloon and letting it float away, to ultimately meet its demise. (One imagines.) This got more than 100 upvotes when it was posted to the Men’s Rights subreddit.

I noticed my response didn’t go through, but the short of it is that 9CWL has changed a lot from Edda and Amos’ high school days (Amos no longer has spaghetti hair and looks more like Juliette’s husband with black hair). The thing is that the comic has become more of Brooke’s personal sex fantasy: if Juliette and her husband are in a scene together for more than two panels, she’s got to jump him and even Edda has become rather crazed as well with the creator going days on end with Edda drooling all over him. Just ask the posters at the Comics Crumgeon and they’ll give you more on Brooke’s fall as a writer and Edda being possibly being based on his daughter

Did you get the memo about the MRM being nothing more than a woman-bashing group? Any thoughts on that? From the looks of your comic, I get the sense you’re not too fond of the ladies yourself.
This might have been mentioned already, but it bears repeating — The creator of the third comic, legorobot, was banned from SA for being a pedophile. He’s probably one of those MRAs that think feminists fight against cp to “increase their relative sexual market value.” Even if that was true*, I doubt that a woman of any age wants to be with a man with kidfiddler tendencies. It’s an especially trashy Lifetime movie waiting to happen — and MRAs know all wimmens are brainwashed their silly wimmens programmes.
*SPOILERS: Feminists are against child exploitation because they want to protect children from abusive, maladjusted creeps. MRAs ought to know they’re not interested in this “sexual market” business, because that’s too much like maths.

I’m puzzled by the whole “drug dealers are OMG bad boys” thing that the MRAs have growing. I have met a couple drug dealers, and all of them have been perfectly nice, ordinary people. Admittedly, the group of people who sell weed and psychedelics to hippies may just be a really nice group of drug dealers, but it is really weird to me to imagine the long-haired Quaker with serious opinions on Terry Pratchett as a bad boy alpha male.

I have a really hard time classifying people who sell weed as drug dealers. All the ones I know are super friendly people who want to chat about gardening and dogs and stuff. And I’m going to go get another clone from them because mine died 🙁

@CassandraSays It looks to me more like some kind of vacuum-packed treat, maybe soy milk? You get meds, I get insomnia, we both get hallucinations.

Yeah, the “bad boy drug dealer” MRArchetype makes me laugh too.
The sad thing is, drug dealers probably ARE better boyfriends than MRAs (not saying much, I know). In order to deal drugs, you have to get to know a lot of people you can trust, and have a pretty good understanding of body language and other social cues beyond the grasp of guys who see everyone around them, especially women, as “beep boop meat robots.” I’ve only known one dealer, but I can say that was the case with him.
Most MRAs are too shut-in and sheltered… oooops, I mean ‘morally pristine’ to have ever been offered drugs IRL, so they picture them as Shadowy rat-like figures. Making a strawman out of a strawman is always easy and fun!
