I was with you until that last picture. The kitten-pony is creepy.
Kittenpony is the kind of thing that haunts your dreams, and then you wake up and go “I am never drinking whatever I drank tonight again”.

My mice are the cutest ever! Also, they hold tails, which is the sweetest thing in the world.
Cats are all right and all. I just don’t get the whole kitten thing though.

Kittens can be kind of horrible monsters. They’re adorable and all, but behaviorally, they’re cats who have yet to learn Important Cat Facts like “don’t put your sharp parts in the people” and “poo goes in the litterbox.” They also have way too much energy and it quickly goes from “cute” to “oh my god, tiny cat, I cannot spend sixteen hours a day entertaining you.”
If I ever adopt a cat, I’m getting one that’s nice and mellow and has some common sense, and one that someone else already taught not to put its sharp parts in the people. I don’t need those scars.
