creepy pedophiles oh sorry ephebophiles rapey reddit

Redditor: The best way to stop the abuses of the child porn industry is to legalize it.

Really, really not okay.

It’s Defend Pedophilia Day on Reddit, as it is every last Wednesday of the month day. Here’s an SRS thread covering some of the creepiest creepery in the latest round of Reddit Pedopologia. For example, these comments, from a fella calling himself Sirhotalot:

Child pornography is a multi-billion dollar international industry for a reason, people enjoy it. Humans are the most sexual creatures on the planet, the second is our closest relative the bonobo ape. Kids and adults have been having sex since before the dawn of man. If you want the rape and the kidnappings to stop you legalize it and take it out of the hands of the black market. Prohibition doesn’t work.

Yep, that’s right, he’s arguing that the best way to stop the abuse of children inherent in the production of child porn is to legalize it. And he got more upvotes than downvotes for his cheerful child porn apologetics.

After thinking the issue over a little more, Sirhotalot returned with an reassessment of sorts:

Edit: I was wrong about the child porn industry.

Yes, yes you were.

Apparently it’s actually quite small.

Yeah, that’s really not the main problem with your child porn apologia. The main problem is that IT IS A CHILD PORN APOLOGIA.

hellkell: No. If a feminist is for it, there are some misogynists who will be for it. It’s a form of bigotry.

🙂

I misunderstood what this was about. The Reddit post is disgusting, disturbing, and disgraceful. For once, this site is doing the right thing.

And credit where it’s due, you were man enough to apologize.

I bet B_____n’s still reading this, so he might want to take notes about how it’s done.

Even the pictures may not be children. Who is to say? Most of them are not even human. Who is to say what an adult “water sprite” looks like? Or an adult “tree spirit”? Your intolerance and bigotry boggles the imagination.

lolwut? There’s nothing to be intolerant or bigoted about here; they’re fictional beings that aren’t standing in for real ones. There’s no maligned spirits who feel sad about us erasing their existence.

Also, “Really 700 years old” is by far the lamest way to try to hide lolicon. I don’t really care, as long as there’s no actual kids, but just fess up.

Oh, so this time you chose to exercise reading comprehension at last? That’s nice, you’re not a 100% certified asshole.

It’s literally not possible for Antz to have ‘misunderstood’ the title, the post, the linked thread, and all the subsequent comments…is it? He literally didn’t read one word of it? Then how did he know it was about CP? ‘The abuses of the child porn industry’ is quite a straightforward concept.

Methinks he just wants to talk about his own sex life again.

Ok Antz, credit where it’s due. We are in agreement on this, both halves of the equation (drawings aren’t the same thing at all).

Antz: The OP is decidedly NOT talking about wholly animated children, therefore your point is complete and utter bullshit.

Buttman: Concern troll’s concern that we are not properly differentiating pedophilia from ephebophelia is duly noted, despite the fact that again, it has nothing to do with what the OP is saying in this post.

Rutee, Pecunium, other feminists who on this day are doing the right thing,

I am sorry. I misunderstood. As you know, I believe that VR is the only way men will find safety from institutional prejudice that stems from asymmetric compassion. I do not believe that the MRM will succeed, and I am preparing for a future where equality is permanently out of reach for men, boys, and fathers.

I assumed that this article was a part of a feminist campaign to lay the groundwork for legal prohibition of VR relationships. The tactic is using fringe cases (child-like-in-appearance) as a convenient short-cut to the slippery slope that leads to illegality (and continued enslavement of men by feminist modern marriage).

Again, I apologize. I should have read before writing. I can find nothing in any comment written by any of you about this disturbing topic that is wrong in any way. Any person who KNOWINGLY creates, distributes, or possesses images with real children on them should face criminal prosecution and, in most cases, lengthy sentences.

I think that the word “knowingly” is important, and I think that many innocent victims of malicious software are unfairly ending up in prison, but given the magnitude of my screw-up today, I am not going to quibble a point like this.

9_9 not everything is about your pet issue, Zarat. Much as you think this blog is about attacking you, personally, for giggles, you’re not really that important.

Good on you for apologizing though.

You know, when people argue against drug laws, they are trying to stop the violence and harm that the black market that has developed around drug distribution does. They aren’t trying to stop people from using.

Also, for buttman, the simplest reason why paedophilia is illegal is because children under a certain age cannot legally consent to sex. Ephebophelia/hebophilia/what-the-fuck-ever is also illegal in the cases where the child in question is under-age. In simpler terms, it doesn’t matter what you call it; its still illegal.

Um…wasn’t it Antz that said he was a victim of rape?

Antz, drawing porn pictures of children isn’t such a good idea. First, because it tells a predatory group of people that its perfectly normal and okay that they want to prey on vulnerable children. Most people agree that this is not a good thing and that the damage from being sexually exploited as a child has profound and deleterious effects throughout that childs life. Secondly, artists often draw people and objects they’ve actually seen in real life. Are you okay with someone seeing your young children, going home to draw your children in pornographic pictures and then distributing those pictures for other people to jack off to? Would you still be comfortable if someone who uses that material were to meet your children on the playground?

Also, real live children who suffer from pedophiles suffer real live effects for very lengthy periods of time. It is a life changing traumatic event that many never totally overcome.

I’m pretty new here, so I’m sorry if this is poking the bear, but while I’m glad that we all agree that child porn = bad, I’m a little confused as to how AZ’s comment:

“You feminists remind me of intolerant religious conservatives. What gives you the right to tell everyone else what they can, and can’t, do with their own bodies. You should join the “moral majority” and fade into irrelevance.”

is indicative of his confusing the fact that we were talking about real children instead of imaginary VR or drawn ones.

Anyhow, glad Teh Ebul Feminazis and MRAs for Truth and Justice can agree on something!

I assumed that this article was a part of a feminist campaign to lay the groundwork for legal prohibition of VR relationships.

Does that mean you’re going to go back to being slightly more interesting troll self, concerned with your mississippi plan again?

ephebophelia/hebophilia/what-the-fuck-ever is also illegal in the cases where the child in question is under-age. In simpler terms, it doesn’t matter what you call it; its still illegal.

There’s also the fact that pedophiles might not be able to help it, even if what they want is wrong. ‘Ephebophiles’ want an adult body, they just don’t want to deal with all the pesky shit that goes along with actual adults, like independence.

Okay Antz, please disregard my first post, as you’ve kindly admitted an error and clarified you position on the issue.

As for drawing pornographic images of mythical creatures, go right ahead, since there are none around to be potential victims.

Nope. Knock yourself out with VR, AntZ. It’s the only thing you’re entertaining about.

Buttman, America was not founded on the principle of jailbait pics on demand. Nice try.

I do not believe that the MRM will succeed, and I am preparing for a future where equality is permanently out of reach for men, boys, and fathers.

At least you’re honest enough to admit that the MRM is a fringe group that won’t succeed in its goals, especially since many of the goals are poorly defined and contradict each other.
I also want to thank you for going back to your pet cause, VR sex. It’s more fun to discuss than your random, off topic links to A Voice for Men.

hellkell, you’ll notice that “jailbait pics on demand”* was in the first draft of the Declaration of Independence, but Jefferson scratched it out. This was because it was implied in the rest of the document, and later the Constitution.

It’s about principles, damnit!

*This was shortly after the demand that King George III “display tits or gtfo our taxes,” also left out of the final draft.

The deletion of the jailbait subreddit was a violation of reddit’s and American’s principles.

Truly this is the greatest threat to civil rights since the Patriot Act

What is “American”, and what are its principles? Or is there only the one principle, which is free access to sexualized images of underage people?

Also, totally OT, because I’m super annoying and want to change the email address I use on this site, I’m about to write a comment from the new account I want to use from now on. It’s still me, although probably with a less pretty automatically-generated picture, and I’m not planning on switching between the two or anything, just using the new one.

Trigger warning: child abuse anecdote and general rage-iness.

I’m going to preemptively apologize, because I seriously just lost any sense of restraint.

Child abuse is old school in part of my family. As in for a group of lucky grandkids, my grandfather was a manipulative monster who had no problem treating kids like sex dolls. Even when the jerk was reported, investigated, and plea bargained down to time spent (this was back a couple decades ago when laws had more gray area as far as mandatory sentencing and sex offender lists), the drama just kept on coming.

Because there were a dozen kids that had been severely traumatized for years. Sexual abuse isn’t just about the monstrous things done to tiny bodies; the abuse has to play all kinds of games emotionally to keep the kids quiet.

Because even if the abuser has deluded themselves into thinking he/she is making it “pleasant” for the other person, child physiology DOESN’T WORK THAT WAY. Even when the touch is soft/non-pain-intending, it doesn’t feel the same as to an adult.

There’s a reason humans go through puberty before they are sexually viable. Hormones and all kinds of body changes go on to make sex something we think about, want to do, feel good, etc. This includes flooding the developing mind with those hormones, to get ready for the physical aspect.

Yeah, kids can get curious. Yeah, kids mess around with each other and themselves. People that argue that it’s the same dynamic when an adult is involved is deluded beyond the ability to be reasoned with.

For every jerk who think/says/posts, “But kids enjoy it!” – your wrongness is so far down the dark path and so entitled that there’s just not much hope for you.

Out of the dozen who were abused, the vast majority ended up with substance abuse issues to escape. A couple are not able to operate in society in any “normal” facet. All because of a dirty old man.

Sorry, guys. I rarely lose my temper, but /mushroom-cloud-of-rage. There are some abusers, coming from abuse themselves, who I believe can get help and move on. The rest, the monsters who operate under nothing but selfish predatory entitlement, as soon as I get the whole telekinesis thing down, will be vaporized off the planet. And I won’t feel bad.

/rage-off.
