Congress hears testimony on contraception: Once again, men have to do all the work!

Hard-working dudes, talkin bout contraception.

So  there was a congressional hearing yesterday about contraception, and, once again, men had to do all the work. Not a single lady on the panel! They were probably all eating bon bons and riding the cock carousel, like ladies do. Misandry in action!

Well, to be fair, the chair of the committee blocked a woman who was going to testify on the panel, but, you know, she probably would have just started yammering about shoes and how hot Taylor Lautner is. You know how ladies are.

Just another day in the feminazi gynocracy!

@Viscaria- I’m pretty sure that even the lesbians who are open to letting men watch wouldn’t let FF join in though 😀

I don’t know, a lot of those comments advocate things like castration and taking the whole site down. I linked to the petition, I kind of expected you to read what the people had written before you started whining. Whatever gets you off, though.

Sometimes women have sex with other women for their own pleasure, not for the pleasure of male viewers!!

And yes, that is misandrist!

Anyway, why are you bringing up lesbians or lesbian porn Viscaria? When did FF even mention lesbians, let alone lesbian porn?!! Have you been eating something or did you just pop a mint or something?!

It’s surprising how many trolls we get who think they can order us to read the entire Internet.

@FactFinder:

Lucky for us we don’t have to answer for anybody who happens to fit the stereotypical angry feminist nonsense. It’s quite simple really. The comments calling for castration and so forth don’t represent feminism.

Done and done. ^_^

I actually read the comments while waiting for my shit to load. There was ONE comment advocating castration, a couple advocating that the site shut down, and a couple more explaining that rape is hilarious and you bitches need to stfu because we want to laugh at your pain.. not quite as illustrative as you may think dude

The Spandy Andy video was more fun than Can’t Find a Fact.

@Shadow:

FF mentioned that men want women to have sex with each other, and pay for it. Apparently in response to Holly saying that lesbians don’t do what FF wants. Its… strange.

What are you going on about now? Do you actually think that porn stars, many of whom have drug addictions and severe psychological damage, would issue a mandate barring me from buying their work? Are you that pretentious?
Or are you just angry and miserable and want to take out your pain on someone who will listen? It’s okay if you are. You can take out your trauma, self-inflicted or not, on me. Just let it out, I’m stronger than you are. I can take it.

Oh, I know that. I was just mocking FF’s “where did I say that?” *wide eyed look of innocence* shtick

Kukukuku~
Not familiar with Encyclopedia dramatica, are you? If you actually read the one comment (in at least four clicks of more reasons) that talks about castration, you’d see it’s pretty clearly an ED troll trying to get a rise out of the people who don’t like ED.

I linked to the petition, I kind of expected you to read what the people had written before you started whining. Whatever gets you off, though.

Heehee~

I did read, oh failed troll. Problem is, you didn’t (As evidenced by your silly little search to begin with, really, but I’ll elaborate when you finally succeed). That isn’t a matter of hate speech; they’re just saying it’s offensive and should be removed. Those aren’t actually mutually exclusive, though I’m unsurprised that your understanding of hate speech criticisms, and their proponents, is as flawed as your understanding of feminism.

It’s surprising how many trolls expect us to jump to the defense of extreme statements… And expect it to be some sort of coup-de-grace on our very existence.

Just like the comments and blogs David cherry-picks don’t represent the Men’s Rights Movement.

Also, they’re not interchangeable. Basically, hate speech isn’t actually identical with what you would term “PC Police language” or whatever assholes say to sound like other people are ogres for expecting basic human decency. It requires you to go a fair bit beyond that.

LOLLLLLL. You’re welcome to that. Doesn’t leave you with much of a movement though.

You can still wank to fake lesbians all you want Factless. No one is going to issue you a prize for it though.

@FF- I was talking about what lesbians do in their free time, with their own lovers and girlfriends and such. Including the lesbians who are not pornstars. They are real, you know, and they make up the majority of the lesbian population.

You mean like A Voice For Men, which you specifically named as representative of MRA ‘thought’?

@FactFinder:

Ahhhh…. I see. So if you can use the same words I use, then that makes your statement true! Fun. 🙂

Problem is MRAs themselves call the websites David links to mainstream. And the big names that David quotes, names that MRAs themselves say are the leaders of their movement, are just as terrible as any others. So yeah… No cherry picking there.

Things FF doesn’t really quite understand:

– what porn stars are like
– that there are people who are not porn stars, who still enjoy having someone watch their sexual activities
– what “pretentious” means

Bostonian

A Voice for Men does not represent the MRM at all! And it is also the most reasonable site in the MRM, according to MRAs who post about it here.
