Perhaps because men are still the most creative movers and shakers of our society, men as a whole class have been pushed into being the responsible ones, the moral adults. Women are let off the hook, able to remain perpetual moral children, responsible for none of their behavior, such as drunken sex. Non-issues such as faulty breast implants or police warnings about slutware enrage these people because they face no real injustices or hardships.

I was explaining that a man who loved his nearest and dearest would do anything to avoid the spousal abuse so often cited on feminuttery websites and blogs like this, because it wouldn’t get him what he wanted! I would rather be kind, gentle, and loving to a woman than beat,rape, or kill her, and so would most men, for obvious reasons!

After reading these posts, I am starting to wish that Earth was a little like Gor, and had slavery for rebellious, disobedient, and over-educated women, and could turn embittered feminists into the kind of sweet little lady lovelies (live ones) that nature intended them to be.A man could handle youall the way you should be handled then. I couldn’t, because I do prefer being gentle, but there are others who know what I am talking about!

Amazing how I’ve made it to a ripe old age of 56 without ever being hit by a man (except father, who believed in Using the Belt, on both male and female children), ever.
Amazing how I work side by side with a number of men who have never found my tendency to freely express ideas and critique (“fondly remembers the committee meeting where I was the only woman faculty member on a committee giving a prize for best teacher and pointing out that the male faculty member that all the men on committee wanted to vote first had zero letters from students about his teaching but did have, contrary to instructions, letters from male colleagues, and the woman teacher whose students evaluations were higher than hs had letters from you know actual students, and the guys all admitted red-faced that they had not in fact read any of the letters in the application folders and did not realize that fact”) have never resulted in any violent speech and acts, and I’ve been working here since 1993.
Amazing how I teach and advise a number of male students who somehow survive my evil feminist ways and not only earn good grades from me but go on and do excellent work in a variety of areas of teaching and other professions related to humanities.
Of course, it is true that other than a few men in group household rental situations in college, I’ve never lived with a man, or given any man any authority over me in any way whatsoever. (I gather that intimidated them which, while not my intent, no doubt saved me a lot of time and energy back in the day when I was still having sex with some of them. But you know if a man gets made that the woman he’s sleeping with has read more books than he has, I figure that’s his problem and none of my own).
I never never never give my students advice on their personal lives and choices–that is not my job as their English teacher (advice on grammar, structure, literary analysis, my areas of scholarship, I will give to any who ask freely and with good will). But I do have a lot of flexibility built into my courses because so many of my students (MEN AND WOMEN) have marriages, children, ft jobs, eldercare, and commutes as well as being in the lowest of the 99% and still trying to go to college. Notice that is for MEN AND WOMEN (I have at least two single fathers this term.)

You know, it’s astonishing. My father is a verbally and physically abusive alcoholic who has been known to choke his wife for “unloading the dishwasher too loudly,” who used to drag me by the hair and slam me into doors, and who had no qualms about beating his wife while she was driving, with their children in the car. Sometimes I think our trolls try to get themselves moderated at some point in order to end an argument and save face (i.e. they were banned from continuing rather than defeated).
