My best friend’s cat Bun had to be put to sleep today. It was unexpected. I’d known him for 17 years, since he was a tiny kitten. RIP, Bun. Such a sweet kitty.
I don’t want to make the day shittier by thinking about MRAs.

We lost one of our dogs unexpectedly about seven weeks ago to an inoperable heart tumor. her sister used to boss her around but was also very protective of her because waffles was a very strange, very timid dog. she suddenly a lot friendlier around other dogs now that she doesn’t feel like she has to protect waffles.
the weird thing is that clover has taken on some of waffles mannerisms and since her sister died, and stakes out a lot of the spots that used to be waffles’s.
We had to put down our 17 year old lab mix last March, right before my 24th birthday. The house is still really empty.
I am so sorry for everyone that has to go through this pain.
