Life Before Feminism: A Map of the Open Country of a Woman’s Heart

An alert reader pointed me to this amazing “map” from the 1830s, posted on Ptak Science Books and originally found here. Described as “A Map of the Open Country of a Woman’s Heart,” it presents a less-than-flattering picture of the supposed shallowness, vanity and selfishness of the female of the species. Click on the pic above to see it full size.

It’s amazing how closely this resembles so many Manosphere “critiques” of evil modern women; the main difference is that it’s a bit more polite in its language. Also, no mention of stinky vaginas.

Manospherians love to talk about “taking the red pill,” as if their ideas are all new and cool and Matrixy. Actually, of course, their ideas are old as fuck. It’s more like they are taking a gulp of Dr. Flimflam’s Electro Magnetic Misogyny Fluid.

Below, another amazing picture also found on Ptak, which presents data on where women’s eyes linger when looking at men. (Again, click on it to see it full size.) I suspect this one would be a bit more confounding to the Manospherians of today, in that it doesn’t show women looking only at the dude’s wallet. The post on Ptak offers a more detailed explanation of what this picture is about.

Meller: Zhinxi, I have no particular feelings about contemporary race mixing.

Bullshit. You’ve said, more than once, that keeping the races separate is a good idea. Everyone can have their own speparate, but (of course) equal compounds, and everyone will be happier thereby.

Meller: I am, however, capable of acknowledging mistakes and revising my views when better–more truthful–explainations,or even better–more accurate–descriptions come along.

Objection Assumes facts not in evidence; in support whereof your stubborn persistence in assertion of beliefs, viz. the nature of women, refuted by testimony of women herein.

Almost correct! I said that races (and nationalities, ethnies, religions, etc) following the natural inclinations of their people and keeping THEMSELVES apart, is a good idea. Also that any and all efforts to force equality upon the groups concerned is frought with undesirable and dangerous consequences!

As far as results or outcomes are concerned: if one group finds itself “equal” to the tasks of a modern civilization, e.g. writing, agriculture (and perhaps industry, mining, handicrafts, and manufacturing), rule by law, reverence for the legitimacy of (honestly acquired) private property with its attendent division of labor, the use of money, timepieces and calenders with a universal appreciation of the importance of time, along with navigation (for seafaring and marine peoples), and in general, the application of intelligence for solving problems and challenges,

Other group(s) however, find themselves doing without, even AFTER being given all that the superior groups have to offer, and still find themselves declining rapidly into the same savagery and penury that was their lot before encountering the more advanced group(s).

A few individuals however, can, and perhaps even should, be given the opportunity to live–at their own expense, risk, and on their own time–with the others, if that is what they want to do, and if the people of the host group will accept them! This can and should go in both directions, but mutual agreement is important. NOBODY has a “right” to go where they are unwelcome and uninvited!

Look upon this as an example of “equality of authority”! The people of both groups have the equal right to refuse–or to grant–admittance to outsiders.

Aww, DKM thinks that everybody is naturally inclined to be as much of a bigot as he is.

He generously allows as how maybe some few people might be permitted ( by who, I wonder?) to go live/work/fraternize with those Other People. But on their own heads be it! And naturally if those Other People wanted to live/work/fraternize with the mainstream then they’d have to get the same permissions.

Who’d be in charge of that? (Dollars to doughnuts he says something about responsible adults of the male persuasion because ladybrains are too silly for such serious thinking.)

Dude- apartheid is dead and gone and sunset towns are illegal in this country and not only is everyone not just like you but a lot of people are just fine with that. Interacting with people who aren’t just like you is healthy and normal.

Oh, wait. I forgot who I was talking to. Never mind.

races (and nationalities, ethnies, religions, etc)

Ignoring the misspelling of ethnicities, a word he clearly is trying to use to seem less racist, all I can do is wonder at the fact that Dunning-Kroeger man seems to think that people can be “separated” in these categories (which, yes, are often used to track demographics today), but really:

There is no one-one correlation between RACE and NATIONALITY and RELIGION (and the fact that people done been mixing it up all over the place means that a whole lotta people have people of all different categories of ‘races’ in backgrounds).

Dumbo, you cannot even assume that people of the same RELIGION speak the same FRACKING LANGUAGE (not when it comes to world religions).

So tell us, Dumb-Knot Mess: what GROUP do you see yourself being in with?

I repeat, NOBODY has a right to intrude on another’s territory, property, or home without their consent! Access by those who claim such a right (mostly for what they could never do by themeselves) is not a right, but a govenment sponsored priviilege!

As far as “responsible male adults”, many, if not most, will own the property concerned anyway, being the agents of primary responsibility for access to GUESTS, not sojourners, not residents, and certainly not INVADERS, it sounds good to me!

Take a look at what happened to the violent crime rate, especially with Whites as the victims, once “sunset towns” were banned in the USA, and once “apartheid” (trans. “separate development”) disappeared in South Africa in 1994.

For an all-too-brief overview, a study of “Color of Crime” published by New Century Foundation may be helpful. Also pertinant articles in e.g. Barnes Review, Occidental Observer, and American Rennaisance–and their websites would be most enlightening!

It may also be observed that, for those readers here of feminist persuasion, that the treatment of girls and women is not exactly respectful by such populations! Rape, Spousal abuse, and other pathology is correspodingly more common, despite substantially less energetic law enforcement or prosecution in the ‘hoods than in more ‘middle class–and White–areas! One can only guess at tje statistics describing how much more brutally women would be abused if the same attention with law enforcement was given to e.g.L A’s Compton as to Beverly Hills, to Chicago’s South Side as to Winnetka, or Bedford-Stuyvesant as to New York’s Park Avenue!

Ithiliana, relax, take a Midol–or Prozac–or two, and calm down!

I nowhere said that, or even suggested that, religion, language, ethicities (happy now?), or nationalities were the same, or were interchangable differences among people. All I was doing was using these criteria of differences to illustrate that “birds of a feather, flock well together”. This is true whether the group criterion is based on a shared religion, language, race, national history and identity, or something else.

No such “one-to-one correspondence was, or is, implied or necessary! Any of the above considerations is more than enough to confirm independence, sovereignty, and identity a group, whether the word “nation”, “ethnicity”, or for that matter, race, is employed!

This fact is so ordinary, and so easily understood, that your misunderstanding of my post reeks of deliberate misinterpretation and distortion! This is true whether people of the same religion speak the same language–and you;re correct, most don’t–or not!

They don’t “separate themselves” into these “categories”. They are in those categories, whether they acknowledge it or not. European White Christians are European White Christians whether they acknowledge this–many would rather not–or not! On smaller, more local levels, Germans, French, Italians (both Northern and Southern), Slavic peoples–whether Greek Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Ukrainian Orthodox, Muslims (try the former Yugoslavia, Southern Bulgaria, or Albania), et–are those identities whether admitted or not. They share a common history whether this is appreciated or not. They probably share common cuisines and customs, similar to, but different with others from the same geographical areas. And they have a terrirtorial imperative, whether acknowledged or not, with their fellows.

The above is true whatever “group” I claim to be a member of!

I hope that this answers YOUR objections, such as they are, to my very commonplace, self-evident observation, Ms. Dunner-Kruger woman!

Uh, huh…nothing says, “Important non-profit organization” like a website that looks like it came straight from 1994.

Also, the title is nearly a dead giveaway that the paper is either trying to grab controversy, or has an extremely biased slant (latter most likely)

(Seriously, what is it with bigots and horrible, antiquated web design?)

Well said! Let’s ship back to Africa, Europe and Asia all these dirty violent invaders! (people with mix origins can either use a dice or a choice will be done based on what they look like)

But sure, Mr “I’m against violence but I would totally understand if a manboobzer was assaulted, based on your comments”, we will take advice from you on how to solve abuse.

Such brilliant logic.

“Hey, Black guy, your natural habitat is a neighborhood riddled with crime, whether you acknowledge that or not!”

“Hmm, you’re right! I’ll drop out of school and stop trying to better myself right away.”

So you seriously think that people are just going to drop everything (their personalities, their interests etc.) and seperate all because YOU declared what their category is based on their ethnicitiy? Fuck off, man.

redlocker–January 30,2012 @1:25pm:

Whether the website design of the New Century Foundation is “up to date” or not–and don’t forget that the NCF is a very modestly funded educational foundation that doesn’t have the Billions of SSSS that the Ford Foundation, the Carnegie Endowment, the American Enterprise Institute, the Brookings Institute, or the Council on Foreign Relations have to keep the websites looking spiffy!

The New Century Foundation uses its limited funding to disseminate important information that can not be easily accessed elsewhere, and doesn’t have the deep pockets and close political connections that e.g. the ADL or the SPLC have to propagandize for the other side!

Their study is factual, well put together, and confirms the need of what many people already know, but are unwilling to acknowlege, on the issue of race and crime, and that is the important thing. If you want a research foundation (or media outlet) that will lie to you about this issue, or any others, by all means attend to establishment NWO thinktanks and media outlets.

It is the content that ought to be the important consideration, not how pretty a website looks! On the other hand, maybe a blog designed to appeal to women (even feminists and modern women) like manboobz.com probably has to put aesthetic considerations above information, since you women probably don’t know any better!

Have fun!
