One thing though, DKM will always have a special place in my heart for his creation of (?). Has anyone come across anything more deliciously passive aggressive? Completely destroys NWO’s “Oh poor Slavey! You feminists need to teach me! Gollum gollum!” routine

You know, whenever I read the hateful things MRAs write about women, I notice I start to generalize and think negatively about men as well. Basically it’s like…so you guys want to think women are shit? well I think men are shit because they think women are shit.
But then when I stop reading their blogs and talk to the non-troll men on here, or the men in my life, I realize I’m being silly and that MRAs only represent a minority of men.
It is ironic lol. That MRAs perpetuate misandry, not feminists.
@Shadow: I feel like he started his ghetto fabulous phase in the middle of a thread that had nothing to do with anything related to the ghetto, but to be honest, all the madness starts to blur together after a while.
I voted for NWO first because of the rather random way he spews vileness all over — I find it rather CREEPY how both Brandon and DKM have targeted individual women at times (in my case, I’ll never forgive the vile thing he said about my graduate student), and CREEPY is beyond trollishness in this case. For whatever reason, I imagine NWO as this huge firehose writhing around spouting his schtick that is so over the top most of the time (and if he has targeted individuals, I apologize for not noticing) that it cannot single out any one person. And the cute way he disappears when Ami appears!
NWO will target Ozy for saying it’s okay for men to step out of the neat little gender box NWO wants them to live in, and for being a “zie creature.” The concept of pronouns is a little… advanced, for our NWO.

For me, it wasn’t necessarily the MRA’s (Although the rampant misogyny on the internet wasn’t helping matters). I only got introduced to them after discovering Feminism. And-at first-I thought that Feminism and the MRM were complimentary movements. I would have gladly aligned with both since my introduction to the MRM was the seemingly reasonable Warren Farrell (On that note, if someone could pls tell me why he is a manboob, I would greatly appreciate it). Also, the description of the MRM on Wikipedia makes them sound sane and completely respectable. This site has opened my eyes to say the least.
What Feminism did for me was help me acknowledge my bad attitude and some of my shitty behavior towards men.
(Also, can someone please tell me how to [block quote] on this site? I would also greatly appreciate it ^_^;)

@ithilianna: For a moment I misread your post as imagining NWO riding a giant fire hose. I had a number of strange, Dr. Strangelove-inspired mental images before I corrected myself.
I have to say that out of all the Christmas presents I got this year, Brandon getting banned from Man Boobz was one of the best.
He picks on a few aspects of people and won’t let go, like Ozy’s blog allegedly being all about men wanting to wear dresses, or Holly’s Slavering Beast post being about how all men are slavering beasts.
He also completely ignores certain people. He won’t respond to Ami at all, rarely responds of Zhinxy (particularly about libertarianism) and, to a lesser extent, frequently ignores me (Grammar Nazi and all that).

NWO used to ignore my posts, but then he broke his silence to tell me that my sister should try vanilla for her headaches (she’s found a medication that helps now, thankfully) and he’s been responding to me since.

He did, and he also said some truly vile shit to Ami.
I don’t believe that NWO actually misunderstands things like Holly’s Slavering Beast post. I think he’s deliberately twisting things in an attempt to incriminate people, like a one-man Register Her.
I’m glad I missed his comments to Ami. The stuff he said to Molly, Ozy, and Holly is horrible enough.
NWO is indeed vile but DKM isn’t all surrealist dribble giggles.

NWO once tried a gotcha hypothetical story for me. He told me to imagine being stranded on the side of a deserted road at night with a flat tire. He then said a man parks twenty feet behind my car and approaches me. He wanted to know if that would make me nervous. He ended his story with the man fixing my flat tire, and I am a big meanie for ever doubting that. I was sad to find out that NWO’s hypothetical Kendra was a villain, but I’ll somehow cope. /sarcasm
Anyway, there was no right answer to his story. If I were to be nervous, then I was a misandrist for not trusting the stranger right off the bat. If I fixed my own tire, then I was a stuck up “grrl” for trying to act like a man. If I were to act cheerful and ask the stranger for help immediately, then I’m just a dependent woman taking advantage of a man. I thought the story was mostly just creepy.
