Though Thanksgiving is over, I’m still thinking about all the things I’m thankful for. I’m thankful that so many fine people have made this blog a kind of online home. I’m thankful for the steady stream of trolls that keep us all so busy. I’m thankful for friends, and kitties, and Netflix streaming, and the delicious Thanksgiving buffet I gorged on yesterday. I’m thankful I’m nowhere near a mall today. I could go on and on.
But instead I’ll just point out that I’m extra, especially, really really super-duper thankful I’m not this guy, as happily “single [and] free” as he claims to be. Or one of the 42 bitter assholes on The Spearhead who upvoted this comment of his:
I was going to limit my usage of women to that of a nice meat hole, but I concluded even that is too risky. Now I try to avoid western women altogether. Decades of child support can ruin a man’s life. STDs can ruin a man’s life. A False rape claim can ruin a man’s life. Also, women have disproportionate support from the courts and law enforcement thanks to traitorous manginas. Nearly every man I know who is living with a wife or gf is miserable. Nearly every man I know who does not have a wife or gf has a higher quality of life-or at least appears to be happier. From my observations, men’s quality of life usually decreases after long stints in relationships.
I will stay single, stay free, and live alone.
I am pretty sure that the “meat holes” of the world are even more happy about this last bit than you are.
Meller can you tell us what time period is the ideal one for you and when you think the world ended? o_O
Also Meller, are you a vampire?
It would explain a lot…
And why DOES my little girl love pink, dolls, and dresses and want to be a physicist?
Girls, guys, I have a question for you: why are you still bothering with DKM?
Come on, the other trolls show at least some variation in their behaviour. Slave, for example, shows in his comments some emotional involvement with the issue being discussed. He also sets counterexamples to manboobz examples. They may be hateful, and biased, but at least he gives some ground to start debating.
DKM, in the other hand, just offers the premise that half of the human population should behave like lobotomized kitten. He does not give a single argument for it, beyond “I like my women like that”, and he never changes his mind, no matter how many times his idea of a perfect world is proven wrong.
The issue that he wants to raise, the idea that women are something lesser than “regular people” (males) has been superseded for a long time. However, he just keeps repeating his tedious mantra. He just wants to belittle women and to derail the debate.
He is stupid. He is a bore. He is a waste of time. Let’s find other trolls, please.
@hellkell: We have “Lake” Earl Ray Hubbard about 45 minutes away, though I admit Austin and a lake named after a woman would be better. But, alas, a river challenge is a river challenge.
Anyone for a river dance?
DKM: You do realize that all those cute’n’fluffy moves that kittens do are practice for hunting and fighting when they grow up, right? Right?
Again, re the good old days: Given that the cultural trope of women running mad and ripping men to bits (MAENEAD!) has been around a while, given that the complaints about women acting all unladylike and NOTfluffy have been explored in classical, European, and English (language) works of art for millennia (during which time the system was controlled mostly by mmen, right? Most MRA’s only think the Feminasty control came about in 20th century)m it seems to me that this tradition is proof NOT of women being terrible (which you all keep using it for, when you’re not waxing nostalgic about the wonderous past), but of MEN complaining about WOMEN refusing to easily/’naturally’/universally follow the Man Rulez.
So there was never a good old days; and you all (trollz) are just gong to have to suck on that. There’s not any past Golden Age, and odds are, looking at historical patterns, there ain’t gonna be any Golden Age of Fembots in the future either. For one thing, what country has economic and other resources to put behind even if most men wanted it (which, clearly, they don’t.)
Ithilliana: Lake Earl Ray Hubbard? Only in TX, I swear. Some of the names here slay me.
@blitzgal:
HUGS! I remember that issue making the news and just crying a little. Losing pets to a natural death is hard enough (my family’s Lab passed at the age of 16), but from someone else’s mistake? Bleh.
My maine coon mix is living with his grandma these days (my ex and had very busy schedules and he was lonely for much of the day – now that he has other cats around and a human to pay attention to him all the time he’s much happier), but Maine coons are my favorite. So loving and friendly – they’re like a lab with retractable claws (the size isn’t even all that different). I understand they’re supposed to be really smart, too, but the one I know doesn’t show any signs of it.
my ex and *I* had very busy schedules.
I had a cat until recently (points to name).I do sometimes wish I could spend my life like hers- spend most of my time sleeping in a box and beating up other cats who encroached on my territory.
“I am actually quite soft and fluffy… but not in any way DKM would like me to be. It’s because I don’t shave! Have your dolls ponder that one, Meller!”
Ha, I’m soft and fluffy because I have fine hair (of the sort that volumizing shampoo, established earlier as the sign of the femipocalypse, is used for) and I wear it short (#5 guard, with the top slightly longer). There’s a certain vague resemblance to a dandelion.
David K. Meller:
I’d like your opinion on a situation. You claim that with the nuclear family comes happiness and harmony and all that fun stuff. So let’s take a look at how my family has turned out, and I want to know where you think things went wrong.
We start a little ways back. My grandfather was in the air force in WWII. He brought in the money, and so my grandmother spent all her time looking after the kids and doing all the household chores, and feeding my grandfather when he got home from his hard day’s work. The weekend was my grandfather’s time off; on saturdays he would read the newspaper and go and play cricket. On sundays he would have lunch with his friends and play golf. Maybe once in a blue moon he would play with his kids. My grandmother didn’t complain. She was “submissive”, she never said “fuck you, do some goddamn housework” or threw in the towel. She never considered divorce because she didn’t want to screw up her kids’ lives. And as their lives together wore on, she became incredibly unhappy.
They raised two children together; a son and a daughter. The perfect nuclear family. The daughter became a teen mother and (she may have married the father, I’m not sure, but if she did it was for a short amount of time because she became…) a Single Mother (*cue gasps of horror*). She has remained a single mother to this day. Her children are all very academically successful with good degrees and jobs, and the two eldest are now happily married with children of their own.
The son (if you weren’t able to follow, this is my dad we’re talking about) grew up to be a feminist, and is in a happy egalitarian marriage with another feminist, and they have raised three children successfully, two of whom have turned out to be even more feminist (my eldest brother and I).
So the only place unhappiness and fucking-up (I personally don’t consider single motherhood to be a “fuck-up”, but I know you do [though I do consider the accidental teen pregnancy a fuck-up on my grandparents’ parts because I know they didn’t tell my aunt anything about sex and contraception and all that]) happened was within the “perfect” nuclear family. So what went wrong?
So in NWO’s future utopia, the patriarchy will continue to reign supreme and women will be outright enslaved, but this will not count as oppression.
Something tells me his favorite movie is Birth of a Nation.
@hellkell: I know! It’s a hoot. And most people use the WHOLE name….
Howdy, Mags. Did you have a good holiday?
Lauralot: Kami very quickly figured out how to pry those damn things off. Effing brat.
Our Stranger (who is, we think, a very dilute Mau mix) was tossed out onto the streets declawed. If we hadn’t found him and taken him in, he would probably have starved – you could count his ribs. And I’m pretty sure he was abandoned because he has a nasty reaction to de-worming medication: seizures. Easily fixed with wet food and fossil shell flour mixed in.
Herp Derp,
Your grandmother was obviously some genetic anomaly; either that, or she was exposed to feminist propaganda, and that
ate away at her naturally submissive nature. Or, most likely, she was seriously depressed and required heavy medication, or possibly electro-convulsive therapy, in order to be completely “normal.”
Also, fluffy kitties and dolls.
“Lauralot: Kami very quickly figured out how to pry those damn things off. Effing brat.”
One of my cats has been biting at hers and trying her best to pry it off on different household objects. So far she has been unsuccessful, and seems to have given up. That, or she’s just trying when we’re not looking.

“Why does my little girl, who loves pink, dolls, and dresses, want to be a physicist?
I have no idea, but it may have something to do with the fact that the older women in her family, including her mother, are practicing feminists, along with the malignant influence of cinema, books and magazines, and of course, lobotomyvision acting on her 24/7 without respite. She also probably sees no coutervailing influences suggesting more seemly and tradionally feminine adult roles for her and her friends.
Of course, once she becomes a physicist, and then finds that 90% plus are still men, and that she will probably be as welcome as a skunk in a perfumer’s convention, expect a considerable amount of feelings of persecution, alleged “discrimination” lawsuits, and related feelings of disillusionment!
SaruGoku–November 25,2011 @ 11:00 pm
I am trying to encourage modern women to get in touch with their more traditional selves. The surface patina of a tough, arch-competitive, unisex, bitter,over-educated, and just plain disagreeable (just look at the posts here) feminist may well be covering a much more lovable, softer, and very pleasing personality and temperment. If it is difficult, as women like you have admitted in many fora, not only manboobz, for some men to be conventionally masculine 24/7, how much more difficult must it be for women, whose gender associated personality templates are very different–and indeed at least somewhat similar to my characterisation of them, although I confess to a bit of exaggeration. This is not, and ought not be, a “sacrifice”, SaruGoku, this is a recovery of something that will enable you to be loved and cherished, a recovery of a source of great joy if you do it correctly. There are other places which can answer questions that you may have better than I can, such as fasinating womanhood and the surrendered wife. While they tend to address fundamentalist Christian women, their advice can be followed by any reasonably intelligent woman of any faith. Live and learn! the most that these modern women can offer you is basically to be an ersatz male, a kind of substitute man where there is no shortage of the real thing. A formula for more rapid and complete obsolescence can scarely be imagined, even if my ideas of cyberwives and obocuties are quite a way from realization at present. Don’t think of it as a “sacrifice” SaruGoku, think of it as an opportunity for great reward! the bitter, pseudomasculine she-harpies here (and other such websites and blogs you participate in) will spit sparks, but you have your own life to save here, and they couldn’t care less about you, as long as their feminist recruitment is on schedule…
KathleenB: Which dewormers? The one’s for horses are pretty benign, as a rule (you can’t overdose a mammal on praziquantal. The pill dewormers are usually pretty drastic,
pecunium: Pretty much everything we tried, even in small doses. Maus tend to have odd reactions to chemicals, though. And the diatomaceous earth works like a charm.
@ Meller
Wow. You really are a selfish nitwit.
And this bit: “If it is difficult, as women like you have admitted in many fora, not only manboobz, for some men to be conventionally masculine 24/7, how much more difficult must it be for women, whose gender associated personality templates are very different–and indeed at least somewhat similar to my characterisation of them, although I confess to a bit of exaggeration.”
Are you saying that it’s difficult for women to be traditionally masculine, or for them to be traditionally feminine? Because I believe that it’s difficult for most people to conform to traditional gender roles. (And that traditional gender roles are just so much bullshit.)
Oddly, the thing that always gets my goat the most about DKM’s rants is that he just throws the blanket word “unisex” over all the awesome queer people here.
I’m agender, you moron–if you’re gonna tell me how horrible I am, at least use the right word!
Of course, once she becomes a physicist, and then finds that 90% plus are still men, and that she will probably be as welcome as a skunk in a perfumer’s convention –
Why should she be so very unwelcome? She may face some discrimination, but not all the men will necessarily be unwelcoming or sexist to her. Why should they be? Men tend to be decent individuals, even in male dominated fields. When I was a military electrician, the overwhelming majority of the guys I worked with were wonderful people. I don’t think physics is some special hotbed of sexism as compared to the trades, especially the trades in a military context?
Also, my mother isn’t a feminist. Though, I suppose she’s not made of porcelain, either.
