Oh, ladies, must you complain so much? I mean, who cares if every time you say something on the internet some random dude threatens to rape you? White and Nerdy, the dude behind the Omega Virgin Revolt blog, doesn’t care, and he wants you to know it:
#mencallmethings is just another example of how women (in first world countries) don’t have any actual problems. Between the government and manginas doing everything for women, no woman has any true problems. Any “problem” a woman has is because of one of these reasons:
1. A desire for the equivalent of fried ice. IOW she wants something that is physically impossible.
2. Failed attempts at defrauding, stealing from, or otherwise attempting to enslave men.
That’s it. When a woman has to go through 1% of what a typical non-alpha man has to go through then maybe she can talk about having actual problems. Until that happens women should keep their mouths shut.
Exactly. We need to stop talking about men raping women to focus on the much more important issue of women not having sex with White and Nerdy.
But I am wondering about one thing. Is it possible that the women in question were asking for fried rice instead of fried ice? Because fried rice is totally a thing, and if you call up the proper restaurant someone will literally bring it to your door.
Now I’m hungry.
It looks fake to me – if you look at the angle of the gun and the angle of his head when it’s actually fired, there’s no way that it could have produced two bullet holes in those positions.
This is quite aside from the fact from the fact that you can clearly see their faces – if it was an actual murder, I suspect they’d have been keener to hide themselves.
I also note that despite being uploaded over a year ago, it has yet to notch up 2,000 viewings – indeed, a look at the stats reveals a big spike today.
Anyway, how is a silly horror video supposed to be representative of feminism? Are we to regard videos of black men being lynched (faked or otherwise) as representative of mainstream conservative opinion? NWO’s logic would suggest we should.
SCUM: Society for Cutting Up Men. A horrid pseudo-philosophy written by Valerie Solanas (who shot Warhol) that condones and encourages the elimination of men.
I suspect they take their name from Valerie Solanas’ SCUM Manifesto. She’s the woman who shot Andy Warhol.
One of my favourite extraordinary women is Augusta Ada Byron, better known as Ada Lovelace, the mathematician. She died from uterine cancer at the age of 36 but still had time to revolutionize computer programming and have three children.
I don’t believe that only suffering produces great art (great artists produce great art), if we’re talking about suffering artists, how about Frida Kahlo who survived childhood polio and later a bus accident that led to seven operations, who began painting to escape her lifelong pain, and is considered one of the greatest artists of the 20th century?
In terms of political influence through writing, writer and anti-slavery campaigner Harriet Beecher Stowe is worth mentioning, as her best seller “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” helped to popularise the anti slavery campaign.
NWO:
And you actually believe that the people here would condone that kind of bullshit? Even if it’s a joke it’s in the worst possible taste if it isn’t then they all belong in gaol and I hope they get there.
“that condones and encourages the elimination of men.”
Now that is fucking horrible. If you want a life without men, fuck off to some island somewhere and set up your own Amazonian society. But jesus fuck, this is just disturbing.
I reported the video for hate and violence. Even if it is satire, it’s very poor taste. Hopefully it will be taken down.
NWO: I’m not even going to watch that video, but I think it’s fair to say that you’re the only one laughing at it, so what does that say about you?
Also, the “feminists hate men and would like them all to die” sthick is getting really, really, really old. Please do come up with something more creative.
@Joanna: Good move.
What I want to know is how many times someone is going to post something horrific like that, as “proof” of what feminism is, and then be disappointed when all the regulars here say “God, that’s sick. I’d never do that. Those people should be locked up”?
Isn’t insanity doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different outcome?
Honestly, I live by the philosophy that 90% of people are pretty decent 90% of the time. And I’m often confirmed in that view. I don’t need feminism or any specific philosophy to tell me that people (however they identify) aren’t going to be down with something like that video. The ones who like it, or even think it is funny or interesting are in the tiny minority, in my experience.
Further, most of the people I meet (IRL, not online) tend to believe that others are relatively decent. I haven’t met, face-to-face, anyone who honestly believes in the horrific nature of people quite like NWO, DKM, MRAL, and the others here. Even the trolls who are just out for laughs and don’t really believe that women are so horrible; I have yet to meet anyone whose sense of humor is that messed up.
Protip: when I’ve actually given a specific example, I’m not “alluding” to anything, I’m saying it straight out.
Sylvia Plath, Virginia Woolf, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Audre Lorde, Mary Shelley, Ursula K. Le Guin, and even Joanne Rowling would probably have some quibbles with the idea that women can’t create art.
Quite frankly, I suspect NWO’s video is fake. SCUM never existed in any meaningful form; the backronym was developed by the publisher who got her manuscript after her death.
Now, that’s not to say it’s impossible it is genuine, and some idiots got a hold of it. Morons happen. But there is pretty decent cause to think that, just as “SCUM” was some patriarchal twit’s notion of what Solanas was doing, so to is this video some idiots trying to put on what they think feminists want.
But again, morons exist. Some of them are marginalized people.
Oh, and if that Dick Masterson guy isn’t for real, he’s either an insanely dedicated troll, or still an asshole. Those IP Addresses, if real, are not fun and games like the rest of his shit.
I haven’t watched it, but if the video depicts men being shot/killed, I highly doubt it’s real. Youtube tends to frown upon snuff films, judging by their terms of service.
Isn’t Valerie Solanas the one who wrote that Vagina Monologue RevSpinnaker likes to complain about, the one about the “good rape”? Or am I misremembering?
Also, the video is definitely fake. What gave it away for me first when I watched it was how it pans to anticipate the woman coming around a corner. That’s not “candid” video. The gunshots are sound effects.
Moewicus:
As far as I can tell, I don’t think Solanas had anything to do with the Vagina Monologues. But that’s from about 10 minutes of googling, so it isn’t the most in-depth research I’ve ever done.
My mistake, it was Eve Ensler.
Eve Ensler did the Vagina Monologues, Valerie Solanas shot Warhol ( 🙁 ).
I tried to track down the “group” that created the video, and aside from links in Men’s Rights forums, I can’t find a single thing about this video OR a group of feminists in Sweden calling themselves SCUM. If it’s random “performance art,” it’s in the same category as countless torture porn movies that are so popular in the horror genre right now.
Just to add, it is definitely movie trickery and not an actual murder. Again, watch any of the Saw series, Hostel, or the Human Centipede to see the same kind of garbage. And guess who tends to be more interested in this genre? It’s not women.
@OSHIII:
I lost it at zero-sum game, the rest of your comment was just icing on the cake 😀
@Naira:
From some of the things he’s said, I suspect that NWO thinks we’re all collectively lying when we reject things like that. Sticking to some “PC party line” in a big conspiracy to hide how hateful feminism really is. There’s really nothing we can do to change his opinions of women or feminists.

I have to sigh heavily and agree with your analysis.
Still strikes me as such a hard way to live. I guess if people want to make themselves miserable, that is their business.
If someone is really determined not to change their mind, even if that mind believes something that’s clearly and demonstrably untrue, it’s usually a waste of time trying to change it.
I don’t think MRAL is completely beyond salvation, but NWO has been a write-off for some time. So pointing and laughing is entirely acceptable as far as I’m concerned.
Hey nwoslave, i got a tip for you if you want to get more outraged: download the independant movie The Taint.
Have fun.
I don’t think anyone mentioned Margaret Atwood, so I will.
