Meller during the time that Jim Crow laws were on the books in Southern States and, to a certain extent, throughout much of the rest of the country, Black Americans were effectively politically and economically disenfranchised despite the 19th amendment. The notion that prior to Jim Crow laws everything was just fine, there was no bitterness between the races, and that the laws were created to garner White votes -in a time when Blacks effectively couldn’t vote at all- is revisionary history at its finest. It’s like someone who bases their idea of slavery on the movie Gone With the Wind.

Look on the bright side! If Whites were in our own sovereign, self-contained communities, free of blacks–and (even worse) renegade whites–none of this need happen! We would live and work among our own, govern ourselves according to our own customs, traditions, and laws–city-State versions of the old Articles of Confederation would be a good start, with suitable prohibitions against Public debt, paper money, and fractional reserve banking!

Nonwhites could live anywhere they chose, with their own resources, at their own risk, and with their own people (or renegade whites, if they’ll have you) and none of the dreadful fighting that the two of you allude to would, or even could, take place!

They would be welcome to set up their own ‘publik skoolz’, their own churches, their own housing, etc, and when things in their communities went from bad to worse, to unlivable, they would be welcome to assume responsibility for that as well. I don’t think that they will have to worry about white “looters” or “salvagers” since the nonwhite communities we are talking about could have nothing worth looting, especially when Federal and State government welfare checks stop!

Nonwhite polities would, however, be as completely sovereign and independent as any White polis or local republic, and their leadership would, of course, be expected to assume complete responsibility when everything there (inevitably) went to pot!
