This is pretty amazing, because honestly, I’ve thought the EXACT same thing before. Once there was this girl in my class who had quite an attractive face but was pretty chubby. Not too much but enough so she clearly wouldn’t be able to ride the carousel. I thought about how (relatively) easy it would be to befriend and enter into a relationship with her. Then push her to exercise a bit, let her get hot, and you have a hot girlfriend with minimal effort. I’m actually surprised PUAs haven’t incorporated this into Game more.

You’d have to put up with fucking a fatty until she got hot, though, is the problem. The ideal here would be to maintain a slowly growing friendship which “makes the leap” just as she gets her BMI down. Of course, that requires very precise and advanced social skills, beyond that of most people.

Another time there was this fat (not just chubby, but fat) girl in the Shakespeare Society back in high school, who had HUGE tits. I mean, I found her unattractive as a whole, obviously, but sometimes those tits started me thinking. Being fat makes them bigger, of course, but clearly she would have had a prodigious rack even if she was skinny. It’s like, if you get into a relationship when she was still a fat fuck and then slim her down… you’ve got a Christina Hendricks look-alike, who is probably going to cling to you because of lingering emotional insecurity. Can’t get better than that. Of course, since she was full-on fat, it would take quite a while to get to that point. And you’d have to swallow your vomit and have sex/act all lovey/generally demean yourself for a long time, as she is fat and working it off. It’s an interesting proposal, though, a VERY interesting proposal.

I would be considered chubby by society’s standards and yet my boyfriends thinks that i am the most beautifyl woman in the world. true stroy bro 🙂

It’s all right if a guy doesn’t personally find chubby women attractive; not everything is going to do it for everybody. But going up to a strange woman and telling her she’s all wrong (for you), and wouldn’t she just be so great (for you) if she changed (so she fit your particular preferences), and she should really change (for the pleasure of you, the total stranger) — that’s fucking creepy, like, call-the-police-NOW creepy.

Oh, Reddit (and your userbase of entitled, socially awkward, sheltered, middle-class, white, 20-something, engineering students) never change.

If only I could take this guy to the gym for a week and then he’d look like Dominic West. Now that would be something.

This sort of thing makes me angry every time. I myself am a little chubby now and having lost about 20 pounds 3 years ago andd holding my weight since then, I am now in a phase where I feel I would like to lose a few more. Emphasis on the “I” in the last sentence. It’s hard work for me and requires patience because my body doesn’t let go of any deposits easily. In any case, I will never be a skiny size 0 or 2 girl – that’s neither me nor my body type.

But I have had guys tell me this exact same thing a few times, suggesting I should get some exercise to drop those extra pounds. Little do they realize that I have been rather active for 5 years now, having found a sport I really like and exercising between 4 and 7 times a week for the last 3 years – different stuff, actually practicing, weights, endurance, etc. But the primary goal of that activity is to be athletic and fit, not necessarily to lose weight. So yes, part of my weight comes from loving food sometimes a little too much but part of it is also muscle. But the guys making those kind of remarks are ususally not the ones with the trained athletes eye to see that – no real, successful athlete has ever made such a comment.

However, it is so much fun to respond to those guys by asking them where in my schedule they think I could find the time for additional exercise, then rattling of the weekly regimen I have to train for national championships and other competitions. The look on their faces is priceless!!! 🙂

Meh. My girlfriend used to tell me all the time that I’d be more attractive if I lost a little weight. Family, too. I never resented them, they were right. I guess this doesn’t bother me so much because I’m used to “tough love” versus PC coddling.
