Well, this explains a few things:
Narcissistic Heterosexual Men Target Their Hostility Primarily at Heterosexual Women, the Objects of Their Desires, Study Finds
ScienceDaily (July 29, 2010) β Heterosexual women bear the brunt of narcissistic heterosexual men’s hostility, while heterosexual men, gay men and lesbian women provoke a softer reaction, according to psychologist Dr. Scott Keiller from Kent State University at Tuscarawas. This is likely to be due to women’s unparalleled potential for gratifying, or frustrating, men’s narcissism, the author concludes. They are crucial players and even gatekeepers in men’s quests for sexual pleasure, patriarchal power and status.
More here. The actual study here (subscribers only).
Yes, like a lot of psych studies, it was based on a relatively small sample of college students (104 undergraduate men, to be exact). But after this post yesterday β and, you know, the entire content of this blog — itβs hard not to think that Keiller is on to something.
@ Johnny
Get a good ass kiss in there lickspittle?
Another groveling psuedo male steps up!
Random Brother
@ Magpie
A criminal might want different things from different victims.
Random Brother
I did a course on ‘keeping children safe’ (from abuse). They mentioned a study where convicted paedophiles were shown photos of a playground full of children. They easily picked out the ones who had been molested. It’s a scary thing.
“I call bullshit. Whereβs the link to the study that supposedly shows that women with passive, submissive personalities are more likely to be raped?”
RB, where is the link to a study that shows women who ‘dress like sluts’ are more likely to be raped?!
Wow, angry misogynist is angry!
Where I live, the crimes are called ‘sexual assault’, rather than rape, and there are different degrees, just like with other assaults. So both of the assaults you mentioned first (the random attack, and the continuing after asked to stop) would be sexual assaults.

This is the full psychology today article :]

I believe that is the study. (it took me some searching)
I know this is Rutee’s source, and I was just pointing out the part you didn’t read xD but I’m curious why are you so quick to call “bullshit”? o_O How do you know you are correct that dressing “like a slut” increases your risk of rape? It’s a social narrative you hear a lot, but there’s lots of social narratives we hear a lot that aren’t true : How do you know that not “dressing like a slut” will prevent rape? What are the ways in which it prevents rape? Why does it? :]
Why do you believe “not dressing “like a slut” will prevent rape” is the default position to be disproven, rather than an assertion that needs to be proven much like the assertion in Rutee’s article?
B/c it got scrolled off:

That ties into what I’m asking :3
@ Johnny Pez
You know John boy, not to be mean or anything, but a groveling little half man like you, honestly, you mom should have aborted you, because what was the point of her having two pussies for nine months?
Random Brother
What the hell does random brother have against Johnny Pez, all of a sudden?
To get to the other side. xD
@ Ami
From the article you linked
“Drinking and drug use, not surprisingly, also mark a person as a potential victim. “It’s a robber’s dream to knock a drunk down and take what they’ve got,” says former Ohio detective Stacy Dittrich.
That goes double for sexual assault. Drunken people not only appear more vulnerable, they’re also especially likely to place themselves in dangerous situations. Alcohol decreases people’s ability to evaluate the consequences of their actions and distorts their ability to predict how others perceive them. And women who are intoxicated, studies show, tend to be animated, giving off signals sexual offenders may misinterpret as sexual interest.”
Who was that guy who mentioned women not getting hammered in bars and clubs, hmmm, who was that guy, was it one of the feminist “men?” no, I dont thinks so, who was it, oh wait it was me!
So now, if you tell your feminist friends that getting hammered at clubs in not a good idea, it might save a few of them from harm.
I’m now looking further regarding dress.
Random Brother
My work here is done. xD
So now, if you tell your rapist friends that getting hammered at clubs is not a good idea, it might save a lot of women from harm.
I like how RB seems to act like that was the part ppl were questioning him on xD
Also, why do you have to like for things about dress? Didn’t you come to your conclusions based on studies you’ve alrdy read? o:
@ Magpie
Don’t worry Mags, me and my rapist pals wouldn’t stoop to do a feminist, you’re hideousness has saved you. Congrats.
Random Brother
*have to look for things
So feminism also protects women from rape! π
And men, apparently …
@ Ami,
1. Women do question it. I heard women talk about their right to drink how much ever they want.
2. I don’t understand your second sentence.
Random Brother
@ Ami
If there is an alternate study that contradicts what I have come to believe I’ll check it out and consider it, unlike most feminists.
Random Brother
@ Magpie
Yeah, I guess feminism does protect you from rape. But the down side is you’ve got to be a worthless feminist.
Random Brother
They do have a right to drink however much they want. :3 (unless you’re saying that’s illegal now? o_O )
But nobody here was questioning you on that. xD (also suddenly the article is one you trust? xD)
What don’t you understand about my second sentence? π (I corrected a spelling error, maybe then it makes sense? :3 )
But I’ll ask again π
“Iβm now looking further regarding dress.”
Don’t you have the studies that helped you come to your conclusion that not “dressing like a slut” prevents rape handy? :]
If there is an alternate study that contradicts what I have come to believe
How did you come to believe what you believe? o:
@ Ami
Oh, Jesus. You know I should have checked the second article first, 12?! Your sample size was 12?! You really consider that a fair sample size to draw a conclusion on? Jesus Haploid Christ.
12 lying convicts talking shit. Great feminist study.
Is there any REAL evidence about rapists and their victim selection process?
Not some half assed study with a sample size slightly smaller than Johnny Pez fucking iq?
