Don’t thank heaven for little girls

Girls = Evil

Try to guess what the blogger at The Truth Shall Set You Free, a blog that describes itself as “an examination of all issues related to comparative religion and the attempt to find truth in the world today” is talking about here. (Hint: It’s not drugs.)

“We are going to let drug dealers set up stands on every street corner, with glitzy advertising, and they will be allowed to offer their illegal drugs, for free, to anyone who walks by. But if anyone takes them up on their offer of free drugs, we will arrest the receiver and send them to prison. Even if the seller advertised a legal drug, but the receiver took an illegal one unknowingly.”

Well, I probably gave it away with the title and the illustration, but yes, he’s talking about age of consent laws. We’re back on that subject again, thanks to the inability of manosphere douchebags to stop talking about it in extremely icky ways. The “dealer” here is, of course, the underage girl. The drug in question … is also the underage girl. The unwary buyer? The poor, helpless, and outrageously oppressed male of the species. I’ll let our high-minded Christian blogger explain:

Criminalizing consensual sex with willing 16 year olds is absurd. Consent is consent.

The bias of the law is revealed by considering this: If both parties consented to breaking the law, why aren’t both parties punished? …

Uh, because the law is designed to protect underage girls and boys from older predators? Because we as a society recognize that consent is really not consent when one of the “consenting” partners is underage and the other is much older?

But no, our thoughtful student of comparative religion  seems convinced that the purpose of the law is, well, I’m not sure what he thinks the purpose is other than to harsh the buzz of older men in thrall to evil, devious, conniving teenage girls.

In his mind, teen girls are the equivalent of drug dealers and older men are hapless, helpless addicts:

-The dealers (young women) are allowed to advertise (through clothes, makeup, body-language) an extremely valuable and addictive commodity (sex), and in fact, they can give it away totally free, without fear of any penalty…

–but if a customer (man) takes that heavily-advertised and freely-given valuable commodity, he is committing a felony.

And that’s the case, he complains, even if the girl lies about her age!

–even if he had no knowledge that her drug was illegal (underage), even [if] she misrepresented the commodity as legal, he is solely at fault.

–The consumer (man) is sent to prison, and forced to register as a sex offender FOR LIFE

–The dealer (young woman) is allowed to walk free to continue to entrap other potential customers of her illegal commodity.

A clearer example of the infamous “pussy pass” couldn’t not be conceived. What these laws are really doing is punishing men for girls being sluts and/or liars.

And so the oppression of men by evil women and girls continues apace. But there is, our blogger insists, a simple solution to this terrible injustice:

Punish the girls who are providing!

Clearly it is unfair to expect men to be able to resist the lures of these conniving Lolitas. We must do something to protect innocent men from underage sluts slutting it up in public!

Speedlines – the book is written mostly in the first person from Clegg’s perspective, so you get a really creepy insight into his way of thinking. NWO is scarily similar.

Thank you for you heartfelt complement. I personally felt it was somewhat ham fisted, but I needed to come up with something quickly, lest you continue to believe that feminism is some sort of cartoonishly misandronist philosophy, as it is so often portrayed by MRAs (even you before your change of heart.)

So are you moving beyond your zero-sum, men versus women thinking? Can you see why it is not acceptable for adults to engage in sexual behavior with children, regardless of the genders of the adults and the children?

Keep going with the boner-slapping comments, NWO. We all know that’s what you’re really here for. Fly that freak flag.

Well, I’m off to do incredibly girly, hypocritical shit like blow-out my afro and get dressed for dinner with friends. It’s been real and a great reliever for the stress of house hunting.

Now, I don’t want to inadvertently make myself the object of anyone’s sexual desire, lest I begin slapping them down for their arousal. I definitely don’t want to wave myself around like a sandwich in front of any hungry people. Plus, my man is working until midnight and won’t be accompanying me. I’d hate for anyone to see me all, you know, out, in public, at a restaurant and misgauge my sexual availability forcing them to approach me, and forcing me to shame them for their polite their approach. Or possibly spit on them.

It’s like 98 degrees with absurd humidity but what do you good folks recommend? Turtle neck and sweat pants or should I just go for the full burqa? With or without the niqab?

Wait… Why am I worried. Men’s sexuality is geared toward 14 – 15 year old girls. I should be fine right?

@Nobinayamu,

Why are you even leaving your house without your husband, harlot?

Yeah, I’m going to go with the Burqa. 🙂

It’s just a slightly extended version of the same passive-aggressive shtick he pulls every time he runs out of steam. Just let him flail, and he’ll run down like any mindless wind-up toy.

Nobinayamu,

All that blowing out and getting ready is just to attract a man. I’d go with the burqa. But do bring some mints if you need to spit on someone. You’ll have plenty of spit and be minty fresh!

HOMER picks bra out of Marge’s underwear drawer, lights it on fire, and waves it around.

HOMER
Ooooh, look at me! I’m a feminist! I hate men! I think all men are rapists who should be locked up whenever a woman says so! I hate sex because I’m so ugly!

Unnoticed by HOMER, bits of burning bra are falling around the room, setting fires. HOMER begins to dance around the room, twirling the burning bra.

HOMER (singing)

I’m an ugly fe-mi-nist! I’m an ugly fe-mi-nist! I’m —

HOMER finally notices his bedroom is on fire.

HOMER

Uh-oh.

CUT TO:

HOMER and MARGE look on as firemen struggle to put out their burning house.

Let’s slightly alter the context of what NWO is implying, shall we?

He seems to think that if an underage girl is approaching an older adult male for sex, the adult male should not be punished in any way.

Let’s imagine an underage girl approaching an adult (of any gender) to buy them alcohol and tobacco products. Heck, we can even throw in cold medications that contain DXM and are not legally sold to those under 18 for the hell of it.

Because *she* is initiating the encounter and asking for something that she is legally considered to be too young for, is the adult who does as she wishes (rather than what the adult 9 times out of 10 knows better than to do) not breaking an important law that is in place to protect minors?

The original post reminds me of the freak out a few years ago over sexting. A few kids were charged with distributing child porn for sending pictures of themselves.

Women should always think of men as potential rapists, since all men have the potential to rape.

That’s so true…

@Captain Bathrobe:

“Well, sure, in the same sense that guns should always been assumed to be loaded. Basic personal safety should always take priority over people’s feelings.”

This is actually a really excellent metaphor, CB.

Anyone with half a brain about firearms KNOWS you always treat them as if they are loaded until you confirm otherwise. And then you still treat them as if they are loaded. This doesn’t mean they hate guns, or they think guns are inherently evil or that all guns do is kill people. It means they respect the potential for danger and act accordingly around them. You don’t assume they are ever harmless because the danger if they’re not is too great to risk assumption. Just as it would be a risk to assume the strange guy in the elevator with you is perfectly harmless.

Yes it IS an excellent metaphor. But is the whole man comparable to the gun or is it more just the penis?

@MertvayaRuka

The gun metaphore is very apt considering guns and men are dangerous.

Never assume a man is harmless.
Never assume a man is trustworthy.
Never assume a man isn’t predatory.

How can you say something such inconsiderate?

Apparently being a pedo was a pre-requisite for working in my middle school. There was a 7th grade geography teacher who showed up suddenly when I was in 7th grade, and I found out somewhere along the way that he had been on some kind of leave for a year and then come back. So he was new to me, but not a new teacher.

You could initially tell there was just something off about him because of the way he winked all the time. He did it to all the girls, and particularly to the shy or quiet ones. It was kind of an every day thing, and it was really uncomfortable for me, as a pretty quiet 12-year-old. But I dealt with it, like you do.

I came to find out during that year that the reason he was gone before was that he had inappropriately touched a female student and been reprimanded for it. I guess he wound up being forced to take a long leave of absence, but was then allowed to go back to his old job. I think it was the next year that he managed to inappropriately touch yet another female student, and this time he still got to keep his job but was not allowed to be alone in a room with any student whatsoever.

But I bet it was the fault of all those sexy, sexy 12-year-olds for leading him on … *eyeroll*

On that note, I had two or three other male teachers in middle school who had been reprimanded for that kind of stuff in the past. They were heavy winkers/flirters too. One got sent off to the high school so that he at least wouldn’t be around the younger girls, but as I understand it, that didn’t make things much better.

The high school situation wasn’t a whole lot better, but at least you didn’t have the pedophilia element mixed in. I’ve had male teachers who weren’t creepsters, so I don’t believe that all male teachers are … I just think that perhaps guys who want to be close to young, impressionable boys or girls go into jobs (teaching, priesthood) that give them access. Would you accuse the little boys who do altar duty** of leading those priests on? No, of course not. So why is it that peri-pubescent girls are sluts who lead older men on? Because they have vaginas?

**I also did altar duty and the priests were 90% totally cool. Except one guy. Look, can older dudes just not flirt with little girls? I know you think you’re being charming, but it just creeps us out when we’re, like, 11. I don’t know why they think we like that kind of attention. You’re reading the wrong manual.

NWOslave, your comment at 4:56 PM really perplexes me. You say that if a child attempts to initiate sexual contact with an adult the adult should not engage in sexual contact with the child, which makes sense to me, but then you say that if an adult attempts to initiate sexual contact with a child, the child should be punished. Why do you think this? Is this something you thought when you were an MRA, or is this another belief that you have adopted in the mistaken belief that it is feminist?

Marc, penises by themselves are really quite harmless, as they tend to lose erection when severed. Men without penises are quite capable of sexual violence– as are women, though it’s less likely, as far as I know.

Feel free to ask if you have any further questions regarding the relative dangerousness of men and penises.
